Asking out a girl is like trying to cast a first turn Necropotence. Sometimes the other player will have the Force of Will to say no. You shouldn't let that stop you from trying it.
So, what if you cast a permanent card from your graveyard? Might need to specify instant/sorcery.
Yeah, I was just gonna say this. Two effects are trying to put the card in two different zones- onto the battlefield and exiled. Which wins? I'm unclear.
I like the idea of Resonance, though. I think there's something here.

For instants and sorceries: "Two effects are trying to put the card in two different zones- into the graveyard and exiled."

NOTE: I just removed "instant or sorcery" hence the unnecessary "an".

Can it live without exiling?

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
Two questions first, because I'm too tired to puzzle out if my instincts about the rules are correct or not. First, does "same mana cost" refer to needing the same colorless/colored commitment, e.g. Ignition Spark only grabbing spells that cost 1R? Possibly you meant converted mana cost, but I don't think "same..." and "same converted...." function the same way. Second, does it work with creatures, i.e. grabbing a Delver of Secrets from the 'yard when you play remind? Current wording suggests you can indeed cast it, but it gets exiled straight away, which seems non-intuitive to say the least.
The power level seems ridiculous, by the way. Remind grabbing a Ponder or Preordain that you cast a turn or two earlier is quite a bit better than just casting Divination, and since it's getting stuff from the graveyard it's not the same cost as needing to spend two cards from hand. I really don't think it can live without exiling, because the abuse case can just get absolutely absurd. Auto banned in bigger formats, in my opinion. Ignition Spark being Pyretic Rituals 5-8 and extra damage to boot or even 7 damage for 2 mana in burn decks (Flame Rift) is already borderline too strong given current bans, doing it again and again with less necessary investment is overboard.
One thought, which is a huge mechanical difference, is to flip the trigger on Resonance into it needing to be in the graveyard and triggering on the casting of spells with the same cost. It makes it one hell of a lot wordier, but at least you can control what effect gets repeated to a small, non-broken set of options. Less interesting than your version, but also much safer. Your mileage on this one may vary.

You are correct. Mana cost is not converted mana cost. For a short period of time this allowed you to cast the spell free and hence I kept the "converted" off to enforce color commitment - it also reduced the word count.

This is correct. I tried to save on word count again - people wouldn't want to cast most of their creatures just to find them exiled. I see how the more intuitive wording could be preferred.

The proper cost is an issue. I considered making the cmc1 spells something that otherwise just cantrips (e. g. Peek), but wanted to see reactions to the upper bound on the power level.

How do you get 7 damage for two mana? That's four mana by my counting.

I had this idea as well. The situation here is that you get multiple free cards for each spell you cast e. g. after milling yourself heavily.

That would me forgetting things as I type. It is four mana, since there isn't a "free" rider in there. That actually tones down the power level that I was worried about quite a lot.

Hm, true. Don't suppose there's a easy way to limit that to only one trigger for a spell cast?
Further idea, actually. What if we worded Resonance like in my following example? That way, it doesn't have to be tied to the mana cost at all. You could even have spells that cost e.g., 2R with Resonance [/mana]G[mana], etc.

1. Am I still paying the mana cost for the card in my graveyard?
2. Which spell gets exiled?
R Citizen Cane (Feldon of the Third Path)
Hmmm. The one cast from the graveyard. I didn't see the ambiguity. It doesn't seem to work out this way.
