very interesting idea. the wording is kinda weird, but since red doesn't have any way to remove enchantments it's a nice take on hate.

Target spell or permanent's tone becomes playful.
The option of the modal is badly lopsided; Everyone will choose the second one, obviously, for the first one is all upside for you. Or do you mean "its controller gains life equal to-"? That one would've been better; if the creature's going to die anyway (Ball Lightning variants), then the opponent will have an incentive to choose the first option. Still, for such a ridiculous effect, the cost needs to double, especially if the first modal is as what you type. Last word: This card is gold, not hybrid.....
Repeatable Vindicate is insane, but I'll take a shot:
Gluttonous Muck2BG
Creature - Ooze
At the end of your turn, if no permanent has been put into a graveyard from play this turn, you may pay BG. If you do, return Gluttonous Muck from your graveyard into play. BG, sacrifice Gluttonous Muck: Destroy target permanent.
2/2
Actually, that kid is a, hopefully, fixed version of this one I first thought of:
NAME 2BG
CREATURE
At the end of each turn, if no permanent has been put into a graveyard from play this turn, return NAME from your graveyard into play.
Sacrifice NAME: Destroy target permanent. Play this ability only if no permanent has been put into graveyard from play this turn.
2/2
The original is obviously rather broken, since it's Vindicate turn by turn starting from as early as turn 2, with the end of each turn trigger making is a hell lot worse. This time, I add more costs, but also remove the limitation from the ability, which I think now should work fine. What say you?
PS: I am very sure that WB, BG, RG and RW have access to 'destroy any permanent' effect: Black eats anything but enchantments, red leaves enchantments intact, green usually don't kill creatures and white is just random
Shadow Puppet: Last clause should start with "At end of turn," not "At the end of turn,". The ability is neat, but almost feels useless. If the creature survives to the end of turn, you're not rarely going to want to sacrifice it to gain life, unless you're on the major defensive, in which case, saccing one of your primo blockers isn't going to help much, no matter how much you can pump him.
Granted, he is anti-Pacifism, which is attractive, but the timing still feels a little narrow. Don't get me wrong; it's a nice card...probably "nice" enough to see print. But not attractive to me.

Seems fair enough. You can either hit for 3 turn by turn (I suggest change the word to pay), and if your opponent managed to off him (and with his 2 toughness, that should be easy), they get a massive reward. I think, though, that perhaps the life loss can go down to 2......

Maestro of Decrescendo -- Maestro of the Decrescendo has better scansion. This should definitely be legendary, as the ability to recur three spells for the cost of one is ridiculous; and even as a singleton, you're going to end up chaining spells everytime you play one. (ie, you play a cmc 5 spell, and recur a cmc 4 spell; when you play that, you recur your cmc 3 spell, and all the way down to cmc 1. When you play another cmc 5 spell, you follow this entire chain again.)
To be honest, in either blue or red, a 4/4 flyer for 5 is a decent enough deal; perhaps tag a cost or restriction to the recur ability.

I had something similar posted awhile ago, so I'll just repeat what was said to me and my own thought process: If it's better that the original (shatter) It's ok for a cycle (people, myself included, tend to make cycles weaker than the cards they're evoking) If it's too much better than the original than (which in this case doesn't matter) it's usually fine as long as the block it's in needs it. my only suggestion would be to make it a little more exciting then Shatter. maybe a slightly more expensive demolish?

The second ability is pretty iffy. Doesn't work too well.
Why not:
"Whenever Insomnia becomes tapped, put a -1/-1 counter on it and untap it."
In any case, with that ability, it can certainly do without Vigilance, and you could give it a much higher P/T, since this guy would be pretty hard to cast, with 5ccc, hybrid or not. Maybe even make it a 8/8 or a 9/9! The first time it would attack it would be a 5/5 or a 6/6, then a 3/3 or a 4/4, etc.
I think you could change the third ability as well, but that's up to you.
I really like Red interactions with graveyard. I've always liked this card:
RecurXR Instant You may play target instant or sorcery card with converted mana cost X or less in your graveyard without paying its mana cost. If that card would be put into your graveyard this turn, remove it from the game instead. Remove Repeat from the game. Day in I see Troff, Troff is litting things up.
Day out I see Troff, Troff is grinning real wide.
Reminds me a lot of Recoup, actually, although the cards are extremely different. Seems fine, altogether, although it may be too good. A couple of things:
1) Should probably be limited to Sorcery.
2) Should probably be made Sorcery.
3) With the proper tweaking, this could be made (B/R) or (U/R), if you feel so inclined.
Anyway, all in all, this is fine. 7.75/10

See, i Always thought the B/W avatar as:

When ~ comes into play, choose one:
Destroy all other creatures, or Destroy all lands.
Which is worse, a cause without soldiers, or soldiers without a cause?

Galbraith Basher -- 1RR
Creature - Orc Warrior
Haste
At the end of turn, Galbraith deals damage equal to its power to target creature an opponent controls, and that creature deals damage equal to its power to Galbraith Basher.

Last Line Watchman 2W
Creature - Human Knight
First Strike
If the sum of toughness among creatures you control is 3 or less, they are indestructible.
"We are the last ones to protect this place. If we falter, all is lost!"

Certainly may be too strong since being able to stop 3 creatures at once is gold. This can't stop tramplers, of course, but I think it's already painfully strong.... Should I switch the P/T to 1/2?

Another old note i found somewhere and updated:
Beholder :2mana::symb::symb::symb::symb:
Creature- Eye Beast Horror
Flying, Deathtouch.
Whenever a creature blocks, is blocked by, or targets beholder with an activated ability destroy that creature.
:symb::symb::symq::Creatures destroyed by Beholder can't be Regenerated this turn.

I don't actually play D&D that much (more a world of darkness kinda guy) but I kept getting killed by one, so I made a card of it.

LC always feared beholders because their eyes shot out rays -- is that the death-touch? It comes across as a very defensive creature, which is very much not black; the anti-regen ability is usually a red ability, too. Not certain where beholders belong in the color pie.
.
Sway Loyalties -- :2mana::symuw::symuw:
Instant
For each creature attacking you, its controller chooses one -- he or she removes it from combat and you gain life equal to its power; or you gain control of that creature at the end of turn.
Instant
Target spell or permanent's tone becomes playful.
Repeatable Vindicate is insane, but I'll take a shot:
Gluttonous Muck 2BG
Shadow Puppet 2BB
Creature - Shade (ER)
B: Shadow Puppet gets +1/+1 until end of turn.
At the end of turn, you may sacrifice Shadow Puppet. If you do, you gain life equal to it’s toughness.

notrarely going to want to sacrifice it to gain life, unless you're on the major defensive, in which case, saccing one of your primo blockers isn't going to help much, no matter how much you can pump him.Granted, he is anti-Pacifism, which is attractive, but the timing still feels a little narrow. Don't get me wrong; it's a nice card...probably "nice" enough to see print. But not attractive to me.
Flourish of Life :xmana::symg::symw:
Instant
Put a number of +1/+1 counters equal to the amount of spent to play Flourish of Life distributed as you choose among any number of target creatures.
For each spent to play Flourish of Life, target player gains 2 life.
I hadn't seen Scarface all the way through until last night. Here's what I thought of it:
Tony "Scarface" Montana :symbr::symbr::symbr::symbr:
Legedary Creature- Human Warrior
At the beginning of your upkeep unless any player loses three life, Draw three cards.
When Scarface is put into a graveyard from play sacrifice all other creatures you control.

It seems both fairly acurate and like something I'd play.

To be honest, in either blue or red, a 4/4 flyer for 5 is a decent enough deal; perhaps tag a cost or restriction to the recur ability.
.
This works in the opposite direction of recursion:
Find the Fault -- 1R
Instant
Destroy target artifact. If you do, you may search your library for a card named Find the Fault, reveal it, put it into your hand, and then shuffle your library.
Imagine a full cycle of these among staple cards. Rinse, lather, repeat. LC is tempted to allow them to tutor other cards with the same mechanic, but that definitely pushes their power level.

Target spell or permanent's tone becomes playful.
I've been up 30 odd hours now (i worked grave and then took my son to the zoo for his birthday and now have to head back to work and i couldn't sleep because of all the caffine i needed to stay awake to go to the zoo):

Recur XR
Instant
You may play target instant or sorcery card with converted mana cost X or less in your graveyard without paying its mana cost. If that card would be put into your graveyard this turn, remove it from the game instead. Remove Repeat from the game.
Day in I see Troff, Troff is litting things up.
Day out I see Troff, Troff is grinning real wide.
1) Should probably be limited to Sorcery.
2) Should probably be made Sorcery.
3) With the proper tweaking, this could be made (B/R) or (U/R), if you feel so inclined.
Anyway, all in all, this is fine. 7.75/10
