Affluent Pastor3WB
Creature – Human Cleric (R)
Extort
When Affluent Pastor enters the battlefield, put two 1/1 white and black Human Cleric creature tokens with extort onto the battlefield.
3/3
Encoding Center
Land (R)
Encoding Center enters the battlefield tapped. T: Add 1 to your mana pool. 1UB, T: Add 1 to your mana pool. If that mana is spent on an instant or sorcery spell, that spell gains cipher.
Illimitable Slime4UG
Creature – Ooze (M)
Evolve
Whenever a +1/+1 counter is placed on Illimitable Slime, put a token that's a copy of Illimitable Slime onto the battlefield.
1/1
Surestrike Guardian2WW
Creature – Spirit (R)
First strike Battalion – Whenever Surestrike Guardian and at least two other creatures attack, you may exile a permanent you control with converted mana cost three or less, then return that card to the battlefield under your control.
2/2
Unyielding Insanity2
Instant (R)
Until end of turn, target attacking creature you control gains trample and gets +X/+0, where X is its power. Sacrifice it at the beginning of the next end step. Bloodrush – XG, Discard Unyielding Insanity: Target attacking creature gets +X/+X until end of turn.
Tell me what you think! It's nice to have some time back on my hands and some new mechanics to play with.
Affluent Pastor: Complex abilities on tokens in a block that already has a LOT of different kinds of tokens just makes things really confusing. In a vacuum, I like this card; in a block like RTR, it just doesn't work. An easier way to do this would be to have it give all your other creatures Extort.
Encoding Center: This card is extremely easy to make unfun situations with. Here's a pretty basic one: Sleep+Encoding Center+creature. Let's not even get into extra turns.
Illimitable Slime: Again with weird tokens, but in this card's case, an exception might be acceptable; tokens that are copies of a creature at least have the creature as an easy reference. This mana cost is a bit high, considering you need to play other creatures to even get this to activate, but then again, self-copying creatures can easily be ridiculous...
Surestrike Guardian: Me-likey. It has a subtle strategic interaction with Batallion; you can attack with creatures that you normally wouldn't attack with to activate Batallion and then pull them into safety. I agree with movexig that the body is a big small; a 3/2 or even 3/3 would be acceptable. Also, the name is generic.
Unyielding Insanity: This isn't hybrid. Hybrid can only be something allowable in either color by its lonesome; while this effect was originally Green, it's Green no longer.
