So I've seen people do Boros, Simic, and Orzhov mechanic speculations but never seen a Gruul mech speculation. So here is my attempt:
Decimate: If a creature dealt damage by this creature would die this turn, exile it instead and put a +1/+1 counter on this creature.
The wording might be off. This seems something the guild of destroying everything and becoming stronger would have. It stops death affects from triggering. And the strong gets stronger.
Here's a few sample cards:
Rampaging Goliath 3RRG
Creature - Gaint [M]
Decimate, Trample
If a source would deal damage to a creature you don't control, it deals double that damage instead.
5/4
Burning-Tree Berserker 2RR
Creature - Human Berserker [R]
Decimate, Haste
Whenever another creature you control attacks, Burning-Tree Berserker gets +1/+0 until end of turn.
2/2
Wildflame Phoenix 1RR
Creature - Phoenix [U]
Decimate, Flying
When Wildflame Phoenix enters the battlefield, if an opponent played a spell this turn, Wildflame Phoenix has haste.
3/1
Ghor-Clan Brute 4RG
Creature - Centaur Barbarian [C]
Decimate 1RR: Ghor-Clan Brute gains First Strike until end of the turn.

Any thoughts?
Feel free to share your idea(s) on what you think their new mechanic will be like.
This could have been called "devour" if the name wasn't already used, heheh.
Looks pretty good to me. The mechanics are a bit unusual for the colors. I could easily see the Sengir Vampire ability being green and red (and there's already Trophy Hunter and probably some other cards I'm forgetting). Exile on death has been established in red. I think green exile is the biggest stretch, here, but fits the flavor enough that it's probably fine.
Actually, the Dervish ability seems like a great fit for Gruul, but they just did that with Vampires in Innistrad block.
These guild mechanic threads are fun. Figured I'd throw my own idea out there...
Collateral Damage (Whenever this creature blocks or becomes blocked, each player sacrifices a noncreature permanent.)
I'm also considering "sacrifices a permanent other than an attacking or blocking creature," so that bystanders are not safe. >:3
The problem I have with the Sengir Vampire mechanic is that it's a lot of buck (text-wise) for very little bang.
It's like, OK... I'd better not block it, or it eats my chump and gets bigger. Big deal. Why don't you just give it flying, if you don't want me to block it? That requires a lot less text to achieve the same outcome.
The slith mechanic is much more interesting, IMO. Now I really have to think before I just eat that damage.
On speculating about the Gruul guild mechanic: if it doesn't somehow involve the "fight" keyword action, I'll eat my shoe.
I already said that the wording was most likely off(I'm mainly on at night). And +1/+1 counter isn't weird. Instead of leaving the corpse there, they could use parts from the corpses.
I don't really think they'd "use parts" for anything. Eat them though, yes totally.
I like the mechanic. It would use a different word though... decimating means to reduce by a factor of 1/10, as in Decimator Web. I too am sad that "devour" couldn't be used here.
Decimate is a good name for a Gruul keyword, put I'd use a different mechanic. Something like this:
Burning-Tree Scorcher4R
Creature - Viashino Shaman [C]
Decimate (Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player choose a non-creature permanent that player controls at random, destroy that permanent.)
3/2
I think this is the only acceptable way mono red can have enchantment hate.
Streetbreaker Hellion3RG
Creature - Hellion
Trample
Uproar 4 (When this creature enters the battlefield, it gets +4/+0 and gains haste until end of turn.)
4/4
It's essentially super-haste, it can attack and it gets a bonus.
Graffiti Vandal 2R
Creature - Vishano (C)
Intimidate
Ravage RR (Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, add RR to your mana pool at the beginning of your next postcombat main phase.)
2/2
Instead of destroying permanents, it gives mana to pay for your bloodthirst creatures.
@Ninja Caterpie: Lawbreaker is a horrible idea. It would be a dead mechanic 98% of the time.
@Shukkets: I hate things when it's random. It would still be to brutal to start destroying stuff early even if it's random.
@person3412: Uproar ,or something like it, would be amazing to see. And Ravage is alright but if you can't play anything it would be a useless mechanic. I do like the idea of Ravage, I would build a deck around it if it was printed.

The only difference between insanity and intelligence, is the level of success.
I apologize, Blackheart, for assuming you didn't know the definition of decimate. I was simply under the impression that we were trying to guess realistically what things Wizards would do, and using words in ways which don't fit their definitions at all did not seem like one of those things.
The worst I've seen them do is confuse omniscience with omnipotence, but then again knowledge is power so the point is moot.
Streetbreaker Hellion3RG
Creature - Hellion
Trample
Uproar 4 (When this creature enters the battlefield, it gets +4/+0 and gains haste until end of turn.)

Uproar is not bad, but kind of bland. I think it needs something more to it. Ravage sounds perfectly reasonable. I think that one is coming sooner or later.
While I agree uproar isn't the most exciting of original of ideas, I think it's certainly possible. I'd say it's about as exciting as detain.
Either way, here's a similar idea. It's a twist on evoke, but everyone loves evoke, so why not.
Rioting Minotaur 3R
Creature - Minotaur
Riot R(You may cast this spell for its riot cost. If you do, it gains haste and “At the beginning of the end step, sacrifice this creature.”)
3/3
Here's another one:
Rage X - when this creature attacks, it gets +X/+0 for each other attacking creature until end of turn.
Ancient Monstrosity 6GGG
Creature - Hydra [M]
Trample, Rage 3
If Ancient Monstrosity would be put into your graveyard from anywhere, shuffle it in your library instead.

Enrage = Maybe too similar to Unleash in some ways, but otherwise nice and a great fit for the Gruul.
Rage = I suggested this one in the Boros mechanic thread, heheh.
How about a reverse ninjutsu? I think I've seen that suggested before.
Crash 1R(1R, Return a blocked creature you control to hand: Put this creature into play tapped, attacking, and blocked by the same creatures as the returned creature.)
Bone-Club Basher 3GG
Creature - Troll
5/3
Crash 2G(2G, Return a blocked creature you control to hand: Put this creature into play tapped, attacking, and blocked by the same creatures as the returned creature.) 1G: Regenerate Bone-Club Basher.
@Todris052: Tell me about it and thank you.
@Scuirimancer: Curses but oh well. And Crash doesn't seem gruul enough. Their mechanic would be more aggro then defensive.

yet only half of keywords more likely connected to the riddle;

its fundamentally unoriginal and doesnt look like a keyword in taste
say it like
keyword (this creature gain lifelink until end of turn)
The mechanic I came up with for Gruul was Enrage (Whenever this creature is blocked, put a +1/+1 counter on it.)
