Whenever frustration sprite deals combat damage to a player you may sacrifice it, if you do return target creature that player controls to its owners hand.
These can be pretty awkward with blink effects, but I'm pretty sure the rules ought to be able to cover that scenario.
The only other really troublesome situation I can think of would be Moonmist (plus something like Conspiracy or Unnatural Selection for the non-Humans). That is much trickier to deal with.
If the rules for them could be ironed out, the idea is a very cool one.
This is very similar to something I came up with for the CCL at one point, and people got caught up in the rules about that, too. I like this idea a lot. Some of the issues with transforming back one it's on the battlefield are already covered. Non-permanents simply can't enter the battlefield, which solves blinking them-- though of course, many players will still be confused by this. I think it would easy to say that if a card would be transformed into a non-permanent, it just isn't.
I really don't like the idea of there ever being an instruction telling you to put an instant or sorcery onto the battlefield.
Yes, I know there are rules in place that prevent such a thing from happening, but that doesn't mean cards should be designed that will inevitably butt up against that rule.
I had a similar idea, but instead of a permanent there was a spell on the other side. You could do a couple of things; making basically a DFC "split" card, or making a spell with rebound or flashback do something totally new the second time.

"In the beginning, MTG Salvation switched to a new forum format.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
Energy Drain - A clunky Desertion. The bounce on the second side looks like the card is trying to do too much. It could just be a better Summoner's Bane.

Lyzolda, the Blood Witch | Maga, Traitor to Mortals | Mayael the Anima | Rafiq of the Many | Rhys the Redeemed
Sasaya, Oorochi Ascendant | Sygg, River Cutthroat | Thada Adel, Acquisitor | Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre
Skin Strip is going to cause issues. I should never be attacked by an instant. Silvercut is right.
Energy Drain is just a bad Draining Whelk disguised in convoluted messiness.
Enchantments can transform all day. Artifacts, too. Things that AREN'T permanent? Nope.
