I'd rather play seeds of innocence, despite the life gain, and seeds isn't widely played except as sideboard.
Sure, it has its uses, such as an artifact mirror where a mass artifact destruction isn't wanted. But its kinda expensive. Make it X+1 to give it a little more oomph?
I feel like this spell has no real uses. At first glance I thought it might be good in Vintage since there are lots of low CMC artifacts, but then you still need 4 mana just to destroy two targets. Then I thought about elsewhere where you might see 5 or 6 CMC artifacts that are really powerful, but is destroying 6 of them really worth 8 mana? Creeping Corrosion just seems better in that situation.
I think you could get away with dropping the second G. Getting three targets is where this will really be beneficial, so balancing that cost with Creeping Corrosion or Calming Verse seems appropriate. I'm betting a Calming Verse for artifacts would be okay at 5 mana, so keep that in mind too.

Artifact - Equipment (R)
Choose one - Equipped creature gets +4/+0; or Double Strike; or "When this creature deals combat damage to a creature, exile that creature"; or t, unattach ~ from this creature: ~ deals 5 damage to target creature." t: Equipped creature gains flying until end of turn.

Fair enough...I was shooting for a more controlled effect, but I do see it's been done, more or less, anyways.
What about the flavor implications then? Isn't wind one of the few things that we humans can't control? We can harness its power, yes, but we can't pick and choose what and where it hits.

This is true...the wind just went with the scaled effect...
Sorcery
Destroy up to X target artifacts with a converted mana cost of X or less.
Not sure if I should take a green off and tuck another X on there, or maybe make it red/green. Comment and critique?

Needs something... maybe it's an instant?

Not really. It's a different color and now an instant.
I think this version is doable and interesting.
EDIT: Hold on, researching something...
EDIT2: Never mind.
