I am an avid player of the online game League of Legends. One day, some time ago, I decided to make some cards based off characters from the game and post them on the official forums. They were well received, so I posted a few more. And then a few more. And so on and so fourth. Over time, I ended up making 47 champions into cards.
And I figured, if they enjoyed them there, some people here might enjoy them.
All the cards are based off of named characters, so I didn't bother marking any of them as legendary. Also didn't mark a rarity for any of them. Because I didn't feel like it.
Hey man, I haven't looked at all the cards yet, but these look cool. I would give Tryndamere trample and indestructibility. Cho'gath is a cool Baron Sengir dude. And I'm pretty sure Kayle should cost at least 4WW, but other than that could be printed any second.
Also, you're going to get yelled at if you don't put the artists on those mockups. Friendly heads up.
EDIT: Just looked through the cards. Maokai, Annie, and Kog'Maw are my favorites and I may steal them....
Me and another member of this forum started work on a League of Legends set. We've been on a bit of a Hiatus, but it seems like we're about to start working again.
You can find our original thread here. Most of our work has been done off site, so that thread may be a little dated.
If you're interested, we could always use more help. One thing to keep in mind though is that this is a working set, which means we're taking things like limited balancing and set coherence into account, so the cards are based around the League of Legends lore more so than stand alone champions.

This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
Ooh, sounds neat. You may have noticed that I don't have a whole lot of concern for balance and cohesian in my cards. Because really, as I've said before, I'm better at thinking up concepts than I am at working with numbers and balance.
Twitch, the Plague Rat1BBB
Legendary Creature--Rat Assassin
Wither B: Twitch deals 1 damage to each creature blocking or blocked by him. 3BB,T: Twitch deals damage to each creature equal to the number of -1/-1 counters on it. The remove those counters.
3/1
Veigar, Tiny Master of Evil1RR
Legendary Creature--Yordle Wizard
Whenever a creature dealt lethal damage by Veigar this turn dies, put a sorcery counter on Veigar. XR,T: Veigar deals X damage to target creature. This ability costs 1 less to activate for each sorcery counter on Veigar.

Yes they should. But if everything is legendary, nothing will be!
Actually, that's not true. Being legendary doesn't have anything to do with other creatures actually, just itself.
Ignoring the laws of normal games, each character is unique. There's only one Ashe in the world. (Even considering normal games, not being legendary means you could have multiple versions of the same champion on the same "team".)
I think it mostly bothers me because the game itself is called league of legends.

Fair enough. I just couldn't resist the reference.
If I was making an actual set, then yeah, I'd make all of these cards appropriately legendary, but since at the moment it's just a silly thing I did, it seemed superfluous.
Singed should have infect. I understand why you'd think deathtouch and trample makes sense, but I really don't think it fits him. You could probably keep the trample.

It seems strange for just one (or a few) characters to have infect. Sure, technically they "poison" their enemies, but it feels strange having them use a completely different damage system than other champs.
Wither would be a better choice IMO.

Nice cards, Ellye. I like how PCM is perfectly in line with his in-game power level!
So, the positive response I've been getting has inspired me to make a few more. Eight more, in fact! I'll put them into the album, but also here they are right here.
As I said before, since this is just a silly little design design project, and since all I was making was champion cards, I decided to just leave it off for the time being. Same reason I didn't mark rarities.

I suppose I could just credit it to Riot Games.
Thanks for the comment.
Just a minor general nitpick: the lack of a Legendary supertype is bothering the perfectionist side of my brain.
Card-related nitpicks:
Sivir should be Red, considering her background story - luckily the exact same card you designed works as a Red also.

However, I'd like to say for the record that even if I thought infect was a good idea (which I don't), infect didn't exist when I designed Singed.

Taric has always been one of my favorite champs, but I just couldn't think of the right card for him. I think this'll do, though.
Multicolored millcards in something other than dimir.
