By the Rage of the Ogres you make it sunburst x, which is fine to me but I hate sunburst. Though the synergie with hybrid mana cost can be fun cards with sunburst should be playable in a mono-colored deck too, though worse. Not like Spinal Parasite but indeed like phantom troll which is still playable in mono but better in multi.

hey i have managed to evolve my axolotls by feeding them thyroid glands the thyroxine contained in these gland is enough to change these water dwelling creatures into land based creatures

Tay, that's not evolution. It's metamorphosis. Evolution means descent with heritable modification – individuals cannot evolve, unless they're Pokemon.

Better than Watchwolf---- right?? That's not right.
I don't think it's necessarily better than Watchwolf. It's really friggin' good, though. But Watchwolf doesn't shrink when it blocks or becomes blocked by a 1/4. Then again, Watchwolf can't block a 6/1 and survive without outside help. Then again again, it depends on whether you think a phantom creatures is better than a nonphantom creature of the same size.
I'd say it's better than Watchwolf simply because if you don't have a land that can produce G or W, you can still play the card with GG or WW, although it'd only be a 2/2. However, you are right about the fact that you could ping troll and it would shrink. No need to make it rare though; it still feels uncommon, I think. Just because it's really good doesn't mean it needs to be rare, Standstill, Psychatog, Phantom Centaur. Yeah, I came of age during Odyssey.

I like how the mechanics mesh, although I never really enjoyed sunburst myself. It's true that they are nice together and have some good design possibilities.
For this guy, the pump ability just confuses the cool interaction between the first two abilities (hybrid mana and sunburst). I'd almost rather just see trample on him. Therefore, you could get a:
2/2 trample haste for RG
1/1 trample haste for GG
1/1 trample haste for RR
The monocoloured possibilities allow you access to trample if you're in red, or haste if you're in green, but on a less efficient body. I like!
