Midnight Covenant 3BB
Sorcery (Rare)
Choose another player. You and that player each search your libraries for a card and reveal it. If all cards revealed this way share a card type, put each of those cards into their owner’s hand, otherwise remove them from the game. Both players shuffle their libraries afterwards.
A super-diabolic tutor ideal for multiplayer and two-headed giant formats. The wording is really tricky, so any help making it more concise would be extremely appreciated.

The second one is wordier, but I believe it is easier to understand.
Well, which wording you go with depends on what your intent is. Do you want it to be chance whether they go to hand or get RFG? Then the first. Do you want it where you search for a card, and your opponent can either get their own Demonic Tutor or intentionally find a different type to remove them? Then the second. Both versions could probably cost less, especially the second.
I'm not so sure this works properly, due to APNP (players will _not_ search their libraries and reveal cards at the same time). The player who casts this will always get the shaft because he will get a card first and reveal it first.
103.4. If multiple players would make choices and/or take actions at the same time, the active player (the player whose turn it is) makes any choices required, then the next player in turn order (usually the player seated to the active player's left) makes any choices required, followed by the remaining nonactive players in turn order. Then the actions happen simultaneously. This rule is often referred to as the "Active Player, Nonactive Player (APNAP) order" rule.
Situation 1:
Let's say player A casts this spell. He searches for a specific card, then reveals it. Player B sees that he'll get screwed by that card, so he searches his library for a different card type, RFGing the cards.
Situation 2:
Player A casts the spell, and gets something. Player B sees that it isn't that powerful, so player B gets the most powerful/useful card in his own library with the same type.
At that 5cc, this is pretty much unplayable in normal games -- an expensive tutor that will almost always backfire. For this to be playable in a normal game, it should probably cost 1 or 2cc. Of course, since you meant it to be used in two headed/multiplayer, it should be fine. Atrius' first wording seems the best.
my question is why does this cost 5? this card AWFUL. If your opponent cant straight up win with what you tutor for them, then they can always search up land so that you spent five mana and a card to...(drumroll here) DO NOTHING.

It doesn't say "opponent," it says "another player." You wouldn't choose an opponent, you would choose your 2HG team-mate. This card wouldn't be useful in one-on-one match-ups.
Thanks for all the help guys. Does anyone have any objections to JeroenC's wording? It seems to work the way that I've intended. (That is, the cards are revealed at the same time, so there is no "screwing over")
I've also taken Howler13's advice and lowered the cost to 2BB (same as Diabolic Tutor). Doesn't seem like it'll be broken, just more fun in casual formats.
Finally, the name has been changed to "Diabolic Counsel" (to reference Diabolic Tutor). Thanks again for all your help everyone. =D

And as always, feedback of the card is welcome.
