Fabricate (Whenever this card is in the graveyard, you may remove it from the game. If you do so, the next spell you cast costs one colored mana less.)
Right, I KNOW thats the wrong wording, but I am having trouble finding wording that works, so I would appreciate help with this. Yes, it is for a forum game, but I am just having a lot of trouble with this.
The purpose is simple: remove your graveyard to play cards with less color. If you think it's overpowered, please say so. Card cost will have very little to do with weather it is overpowered, as mostly it will never be payed if the mechanic is used. If it IS overpowered, I will probably make it colorless instead of colored, or perhaps limit it to one sac per card.
So, what do you all think?
(I will post cards soon, though I doubt they are necessary.)

I think the "Tag you are it!" game is childish, and therefore I refuse to participate. Games I play.
Other people's decks!
(I'm too cheap to actually BUY the cards, so I just playtest for others.)
Yeah, you got it kinda wrong in the end... I meant to have it be the spells color. However, I think that might be overpowered with delve combos (lots of free cards).
Using your wording here is my ability, as well as a weak alternative...
Fabricate (You may remove this card from the game if it is in your graveyard while playing a spell. The cost of that spell is reduced by one mana of the spell's color.)
Fabricate (You may remove this card from the game if it is in your graveyard while playing a spell. The cost of that spell is reduced by 1.)

I'd imagine for balance reasons that it should probably be only matching colors but thats up to the designer... Also its an interesting balance standpoint that you've taken by having it not reduce the colorless cost, what prompted this decision?
Edit - The first one leads to balance issues, as it allows u to use fabricate cards as mana fixing; that could be a bit... over the top.
I actually really like this mechanic. At first, I was a bit put off by it (the front-mounted Delve seems better than the back-end Fabricate), but the more I think about, the cooler I think this is.
The wording might need some work, but if we can get it to fit, what you have created is a new type of cantrip. A way to make small effects worth putting onto a card by themselves.
Here's a suggested change, to make it more versatile. Add a mana amount to the ability.
For example:
Fabricate WW (If this card is in your graveyard, you may remove it from the game to reduce the cost of the next spell you play this turn byWW.)
EDIT: It might need to be an ability word with an activated ability (like Transmute).
Fabricate WW (Remove this card in your graveyard from the game: Reduce the cost of the next spell you play this turn by WW.)
The only thing I object to with this is the name. Fabricate seems to me as a mech that would be building, or putting to together, dealing with artifacts... something - not blowing up corpses, deadlands, or destroyed things for mana.
Maybe like Harvest?
Undying Grove
Land - Forest
CIPT.
If you tap ~ for mana, you may sacrifice it.
Harvest G
Universal Gears - 1
Artifact - Equipment
Equipped creature has haste.
Equip 1
Mana from ~'s harvest ability may only be used to play artifacts.
Harvest 3
Strange Burial - 1B
Sorcery
Search your library for up to two cards with harvest and put them into your graveyard.
Shuffle your library afterwards.
I could go all day, but that is enough for now. Lemme know if you want more ideas...
Jah, the name didn't quite agree with me either... And I agree that it should probably be a fixed mana type (well that or colorless). My issue was being able to use any "fabricate" spell to fix your deck the flexibility their could limit its application (for power concerns).
Couple alternate name suggestions - Reap, Cull, Glean, Harvest...
Personal I like the Reap, or maybe Cull.
Edit - ah, oops...
If its fabricate then it feels more like it should be colorless mana, so that it has some application with artifacts... (though it could later be expanded to colored mana as well...)
Maybe something like
Stowing Stone2
Artifact
Sacrifice CARDNAME: Add 1 to your mana pool.
Fabricate 2 (Remove this card in your graveyard from the game: Reduce the cost of the next spell you play this turn by 2.) Stowing Stones are so flushed with mana that even their fragments are highly valued by mages.
Fabricate W(If this card is in your graveyard, you may remove it from the game. Add Wto your mana pool.)
Yes, it is simpler, and I considered it in my suggestion, but I would be concerned it would be too abusive with mass-graveyard filling and might possibly be broken with some kind of card with an activated ability. I think that making it reduce the cost of spells is less dangerous, but still good, fun, flavorful, and powerful.
Ah, I wondered about the name myself. Yeah, if it has to be called fabricate, I agree that it should be colorless mana only.
Awesome idea, Kazagistar. I will almost certainly use my variation of it in the set I intend to make (but probably never will).
