Except that hybrid mana is considered a cost, not an amount of mana.
Of course, lands which produce colorless mana were re-written to have "symtap:: Add to your mana pool" rather than "one colorless mana," as the intent is obvious.
That being said, is "Add or :symb:" so much worse than "Add :symwb:"? Being able to see the mana symbols is a good thing, ilcho.

Playlace --
Instant
Target spell or permanent's tone becomes playful.
These should definitely be uncommon, as they are strictly inferior to they CIP tapped duals (uncommon), doesn't untap next turn duals (uncommon), pain lands (rare), shock lands (rare) and fetchlands (rare).

Edelweiss, Edelweiss,
Every morning you greet me,
Small and White,
Clean and bright
You look happy to meet me..
Blossoms of snow may you bloom and grow,
Bloom and grow forever

It cannot be inferior since they add a touch of class and also the word "or" is taken out. So if someone were to see this they would know to add W or B.

I miss you mom!
Our hearts still ache in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No on will ever know
But we know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store
Since you’ll never be forgotten
We pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our hearts
Is where you’ll always stay

I believe TW was refering to the cards themselves, and not to the layout idea.

Except, what if you don't control a land of the speciffied type? If you run these in decks with no basic lands, there is now drawback at all. In some decks they are actually strictly better than pain lands and almost strictly better than shock lands.
They are not actually strictly inferior to any of those lands. They are possibly worse, yes, but not strictly inferior. First, if you can't remove one of the lands they mention from play, then they're just like the original duals. Second, unlike the CIPT lands, the Painlands, the Shocklands, and the Fetchlands, they can provide you with a painless colored mana the turn they come into play. Unlike the doesn't untap lands, they can provide you with it for two turns in a row.
