I played some Theros Sealed today and got destroyed. My pool kinda confused me, I didn't have a ton of playable creatures to work with. I ended up making two decks, with the RB deck being my main deck, and the WG deck being my backup.
I was light on creatures but played some of the bestow creatures as creatures rather than spells. This deck was far too slow and didn't have an impact until the Nessian Asp came out.
Round 1:
Played another RB deck and went 1-2. Won the first game with deck 1. Sided in Peak Eruption for game two but got flooded. Game 3 I sided in Deck 2 and was annihilated.
Round 2:
bye
Round 3:
Plaed a RW deck and was crushed 2-0. His deck was too fast and efficient for me.
The green is pretty ok though it's fairly high mana cost overall and would love some voyaging satyrs. The Black is also pretty ok overall. The blue is shallow but almost all of the cards in it are playable and there is a fair amount of power there. I could see a B/, G/, or G/ deck come out of this (with a presence and an amulet you might even do some splashing). W and R don't really have enough going for them to interest me here.
I think you might be over looking U Although you don't have many cards, I count 11 cards I would be happy to play there. The problem is they are mostly support cards and though I love me some griptides, they don't help if you don't have something to back it up

It's slow and plodding, but the big guys can get you there. Bident, Singer and bounce get the job done in the early going.
