Now that we know that the pre-release packs will not be mono colored and you will only be guaranteed a rare that is/or shares a color with your predetermined choice does that change what you will pick for pre-release? How do you feel about this change?
I personally feel like this is a change for the best. It will keep decks diverse and give you the freedom to chose whatever color you would like. I dont like that you can receive gold cards as your rare though. Also I still dont know if mythic's are possible...
Is someone keeping a list of what's in the packs somewhere? Like, we know it's possible to get an on color God, and it's also possible to get a legendary weapon, that's 2 of the possible 8 cards in each "rare" slot. And we know a few more (White can get a Fleecemane Lion, Green can get that G/R 4/4 guy who step on you, etc.) Anyone have a complete list yet?

Ambush Krotiq makes me laugh so much. I keep rereading the card and it keeps not having Flash. In what sense is this an ambush again? I just have visions of this huge Krotiq poorly concealed in some bushes, feeling slightly sad that his carefully planned ambushes never seem to work.
The pre-determined common is very unusual. This is good information to have though, going into prerelease.
If Fade into Antiquity really is in every Green pack, that's huge. It's an answer to all of the Gods as well as a lot of other bombs in the format. Scourgemark and Demolish are terrible in comparison to the other rumored commons that all interact with the enchantment theme.
the packs really don't cater enough to the chosen color to simply pick the strongest overall color, I really like black even more now considering it by far has the strongest rare/mythic pool. A good chance at thoughtseize is also good value
This is gonna be nothing like gatecrash where 9/10 you play the guildpack you chose, alot of people will end up not playing the color they seeded

Oh yeah, the fact that these packs are only slightly different means I will probably change from blue to black and enter myself in the Thoughtseize lottery.
BTW, looks like all these videos are now private...
Is there any evidence so far for Thoughtseize in the black pack?
Not directly as far as I know. But, if they are doing this like RTR/GTC and there are 8 different promo packs and each one contains an on-color rare, it's hard to do the math and not have Thoughtseize be one of the black ones.
There might not be 8 different ones, of course. Or they might double up some rares (like the multi-color ones) and have those be in multiple packs, which could mean Thoughtseize isn't one of the black rare.

Thoughtseize isn't mythic so I don't see any reason it would excluded from the seeded packs. The high value on the secondary market isn't going to mean anything to wizards. Black also has one less rare than the other colors so if they also cut out Thoughtseize it would make the black packs pretty limited in variety.
Makes red and blue more appealing due to each of their gods coming in around $25-30....kind of wanted to go blue anyways. Knowing my luck I will get three rare scry land's lol.

Yeah, the same person who opened the packs did confirm mythics can only be the God of your colour (in the seeded pack).
Hard to choose between white and black...
