Centaur Battlemaster OR Staunch-Hearted Warrior + any Ordeal = Ordeal complete upon attacking
Prowler's Helm: There is only one wall in Theros, so this will make the creature pretty much unblockable.
Boulderfall: Up to 5 Heroic triggers (I'm especially looking at those white weenie types get get +1/+1 counters like Phalanx Leader, Favored Hoplite, Fabled Hero, and Wingsteed Rider)
Gift of Immortality + Gray Merchant of Aspodel (or any other creature with an ETB ability)
If you can get Gift of Immortality + Agent of Fates + Abhorrent Overlord, your opponents will be sacrificing a creature on each of your end steps, plus one every time the Agent gets attacked into!
Staunch-Hearted Warrior + most of the pump/fight spells.
- Savage Surge: surprise 6/6 blocker!
- any Ordeal: instant ordeals
- Hunt the Hunter: take out any X/6 green creature
.... I hope I open 3 of those.
Also, Boulderfall + a bunch of Heroic creatures (with at least 2 toughness) seems nuts. Should be a funny way to get late-game mileage out of your Heroic dudes.
RG Monstrous might be a thing.
At common there's
Ill-Tempered Cyclops (4 cost 6 monster)
Nessian Asp (5 cost, 7 monster)
Uncommon
Stoneshock Giant (5 cost, 7 monster)
Nemesis of Mortals (6 cost, 9 monster, and cost reducers)
Then for acceleration you've got
Common
Satyr Hedonist
Opaline Unicorn
Uncommon
Karametra's Acolyte
That's 4 Common/Uncommon monstrous creatures and 3 common/uncommon accelerators. Throw in some removal like Time to Feed at common to leverage your bigger creatures, and maybe some smaller guys if you're Nemesis heavy and it looks like a deck to me.
Unfortunately, you remove Rescue from the game... oops, I mean exile it (wow...) upon resolution. But I do like Rescue + Cateblopas.

My helpy helpdesk of helpfulness.
My Decks: EDH: Sygg, River Cutthroat , Road to Scion
Grimgrin, Corpseborn Modern: Polytokes IRL: Progenitus Polymorph , Goblins
Here's the obvious themes of Theros I see: 1. Aura/Devotion + Heroic
2. Black's self-mill 3. UR Scry
4. MonoB Devotion
5. Rx aggro
1) Devotion doesn't work as well with Heroic as you might think. Devotion cares about a mass of single colored permanents. Heroic cares about a mix of single permanents (the heroic cards) and spells that target them. You will probably be running only 1 or 2 colors during the pre-release anyways, but that doesn't mean that devotion and heroic work well together.
3) U/R Scry might become a good strategy in Draft formats, but in Limited, you will probably need a bunch of veryspecificcards for it to function well.
Sealock Monster versus a opponent who uses Nylea's Presence as fixing.
A Sealock Monster can be paired with a Nylea's Presence you control to avoid having to pay for Sealock's monstrosity in order to attack. Just make sure you only play it when your opponent already has all his/her colors.
That, and you know what they say. If Wizards started shipping $100 bills in boosters tomorrow, people would scream and cry and whine that they were folded the wrong way.

Interesting. Yeah, I've looked hard at whether thre's a Gx ramp/monstrosity deck there, and GR does look like the colour pair most able to achieve that.
3) U/R Scry might become a good strategy in Draft formats, but in Limited, you will probably need a bunch of veryspecificcards for it to function well.
No, I think that there's a bunch of UR cards that specifically want to be in the same sort of deck with each other. Leaving aside the multiple burn spells that have scry tacked on to them, here's the sub-rare cards that I think suggest a spell/scry heavy UR deck:
Aqueous Form U (common)
Enchantment - Aura
Enchanted creature can't be blocked.
Whenever enchanted creature attacks, scry 1.
Crackling Triton 2U (common)
Creature - Merfolk Wizard
2/3
{2}{R}, Sacrifice Crackling Triton: Crackling Triton deals 2 damage to target creature or player.
Mnemonic Wall 4U (common)
Creature - Wall
0/4
Defender
When Mnemonic Wall enters the battlefield, you may return target instant or sorcery card from your graveyard to your hand.
Prescient Chimera 3UU (common)
Creature - Chimera
3/4
Flying
Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell, scry 1.
Flamespeaker Adept 2R (uncommon)
Creature - Human Shaman
2/3
Whenever you scry, Flamespeaker Adept gets +2/+0 and gains first strike until end of turn.
Spellheart Chimera 1UR (uncommon)
Creature - Chimera
*/3
Flying, trample
Spellheart Chimera's power is equal to the number of instant and sorcery cards in your graveyard.
Note that this is mostly a blue based deck.
White wants to be paired with green and black
Blue wants to be paired with red and white
Black wants to be paired with green and blue
Red wants to be paired with black and white
Green wants to be paired with blue and red
(where the first colour is your base colour and the secondary colours are subservient splashes)
Here's the obvious themes of Theros I see:
1. Aura/Devotion + Heroic
2. Black's self-mill
3. UR Scry
4. MonoB Devotion
5. Rx aggro
#1- Not just one archetype, but rather many of different sizes will be spawned depending on color and curve. I don't imagine any two will be quite alike.
#2- Rescue from the Underworld is the key player here, and I imagine it'll go highly for those trying to force the archetype. Green synergizes well with this strategy for sealed, and #4 goes hand in hand with it.
I also see RB Minotaurs (minor, but enough reason to consider the color combo), Ux Evasion (potent way to evade the many combat tricks), and Gx Monstrosity Ramp. The whole set looks like a blast to play with, though I'm looking forward to draft more so than sealed.

Completely agree. Here's my updated version:
Core block theme: Aura/Bestow/Tricks + Heroic (applies to every colour pair)
Subthemes and archetypes
1. MonoB Devotion, self-mill/reanimation
2. Ux Evasion (with a nod to UR Scry and UW flyers)
3. Gx Ramp (with a nod to GR monstrous)
4. Rx Aaggro (with a nod to BR minotaurs and WR humans)
I'll start:
Obvious, but Benthic Giant + Aqueous Form = 4-power invisible stalker that scries upon each attack.
Rescue from the Underworld + Gray Merchant of Asphodel = AWESOME, especially if you have one merchant on the battlefield and one in the graveyard.
Time to Feed + Any Good Heroic Dude = Basically a heroic trigger and a kill spell
1. Aura/Devotion + Heroic
2. Black's self-mill
3. UR Scry
4. MonoB Devotion
5. Rx aggro
Plus there are lots of combos of things that can be granted to creatures that work really well together:
Fight/Damage + Regenerate/Deathtouch e.g. Time to Feed and Boon of Erebos
Unblockable + Combat triggers e.g. Aqueous Form and Thassa's Emissary
A free blocker and creature returned every turn: Rescue from the Underworld and Memnonic Wall
Satyr Hedonist + Nemesis of Mortals: Drop 2 Forests and a Mountain on turns 1-3 to get a 5/5 on turn 3.
Two-Headed Cerberus + Dragon Mantle: Pumpable on-color Double Strike
Centaur Battlemaster OR Staunch-Hearted Warrior + any Ordeal = Ordeal complete upon attacking
Prowler's Helm: There is only one wall in Theros, so this will make the creature pretty much unblockable.
Boulderfall: Up to 5 Heroic triggers (I'm especially looking at those white weenie types get get +1/+1 counters like Phalanx Leader, Favored Hoplite, Fabled Hero, and Wingsteed Rider)

Rescue from the Underworld and Gray Merchant of Asphodel isn't good synergy --- it's an archetype. You'll face a ton of monoblack devotion decks.
Another good card with Rescue is Pharika's Mender, it provides a ton of value.
Of course, Nemesis of (DONT REMEMBER ITS NAME) plus Commune with the Gods works like a charm.
- Savage Surge: surprise 6/6 blocker!
- any Ordeal: instant ordeals
- Hunt the Hunter: take out any X/6 green creature
.... I hope I open 3 of those.

Whoops. No wonder it looked too good to be true
Yeah, I mixed Bestow and Devotion up. So sue me.

My Flawless Score MCC Card | My Other One | # Three!
Hundred handed one (with the monstrous triggered) + Bident of Thassa + Triton Tactics.
Certianly not the best combo and probably not very likely to happen but still pretty funny.
