Has anyone had success with a deck like this. I ended up with the following, playing with Bestiaire, which I felt was a bit ridiculous. I know it's not from a relevant source, but it's just to stir some discussion.
Basically, I just hogged each and every Golem Foundry I could find, and then took artifacts. Most people seem a bit reluctant to pick Foundries fast, since they require a lot of artifacts to work. I was able to get four, which is more or less.. A lot.
Blue metalcraft creatures also seem to be fairly low picks for a lot of people. I wonder why, since Certarch is just awesome. That's why I chose Blue to support the artifact base, and not any other colour. Could probably go with anything if you opened good bombs, or something.
One benefit this has is taking artifacts. You see, if you take artifacts, other people can't. If there is a metalcraft player next to you, you will almost certainly screw him up, since you'll take artifacts even when they are below quality of other cards, leaving other people unable to get healthy counts of playable artifacts.
Does this strategy seem viable to you?

Foundry sucks in general. When you have a critical mass of them like this (and play 20+ artifacts) I guess they could be OK, but they're hardly exceptional and to get this you have to severely weaken the rest of your deck. You're playing 2 Myr Resevoir with 4 Myr total and 3 Flight Spellbombs in a deck where most of your threats have flying anyways. Steady Progress is really suboptimal too.
Also Certarch gets picked lower because he's absolutely terrible without Metalcraft. Biggest problem with blue is that it's kind of shallow, you've got a couple of good fliers but that's really all, the Spellbomb and Trigon are both not very good either.
