Nice save Pseud :). So no BLANK for us but I'd rather have the card advantage flier. Go with Messenger Falcon.
On a side note, I may be over valuing Falcon. It is the uncommon I have the most of on Mtgo from Reborn, so either I over value it or other undervalue it (or I go WG or WU maore then most, but I don't have as many of the other WG or UW uncommons).
Anyway it has to be the pick over Jund Hackblade (R looking to be a splash, not enough gold) or Trace of Abundance (evasion > fixing, accelerating)
Falcon is good. But it is not great. I would rather shore up the mana base with Trace of Abundance, as our mana base is likely to be a mess if we dont attend to it, and soon. Also of note is that most of the packs we will be getting are not likely to have fixing this good.
Trace of Abundance is TERRIBLE fixing. You need to have 2 out of your 3 colors available, and even then it's only solid. Not to mention the fact that we might end up with just 2 colors if the rest of the packs go well enough...
Its gotta be the birds or the color fixing. I think we need fixing more, but Trace of Abundance might be pretty tough to play as its a two color spell itself. Somebody please try to persudae me one way or the other.
It's more that people always overvalue removal. Really, if they make a card ":symb:: Sorcery: As an additional cost, get F'd in the A. Destroy target creature." people will say "removal is removal" and first-pick it.
I wouldn't worry too much about fixing right now, although trace of abundance is pretty nice. Yeah it requires 2 colors, but green is probably going to be our main color anyway, so it's not entirely too unlikely to play it early. Also if we draw our splash color red by accident, we can still fix for our white cards / accelerate into our 4 drops.
That being said, I still like the falcon here. It's a wind drake, which is fine, but the extra card is really important. Imagine if Elvish Visionary were a threat in itself - Visionary was a fine card and an auto-include in pretty much any draft deck, and that was in a really powerful format. It rarely did more than just block, though. A flying beater is way better (and it happens to be in our colors!). I think if we take Falcon here we're headed for a pretty solid GW deck.
This is shaping up well. We have so many creatures we'll be able to maximize our Thrive (which is already pretty sweet with our first-strikers and counter-rific 5-drops), we have some decent late game cards (Colony and Gharial), we have solid removal (though a Naya Charm would be pretty nice ), and almost all of our creatures have strong utility. We also have great sideboard cards that I didn't include.
Somebody please try to persuade me one way or the other.
Trace of Abundance is better as acceleration than fixing, since it might not itself be castable.
Our deck needs fixing, but it doesn't really need acceleration. Consequently Trace of Abundance is weak for us.
Messenger Falcons is highly castable and is card advantage every time, which I hear is some good. We should pick it!
There, how did I do?
(Actually, the pressure was off to be honest. It's already winning by some way.)

And it doesn't matter cause I didn't get my vote in before the poll closed anyway. Good job though!
