besides the classic illusions of granduer, what cards can you donate to your opponent that cripples them, if not wins you the game and cost 4 mana or less. bonus points if the card is blue.
lol. steel golem is hilarious. Feel like its not very cement, but if you can protect it with counter magic and not die to it then yeah, thats pretty cool.
I've given Immortal Coil to people in Modern with a Bazaar Trader, Donate can do the same thing. The strategy works best when the opponent is mana-screwed.
The Invasion Leeches are good, if you give them a leech of a color that they're not playing.

This is the legacy forum, so I don't see any reason in suggesting cards that are "fun" or "cute" that work with Donate but don't win you the game as effectively as Illusions.
Specifically, many of the cards being listed here are cards that hurt you badly if you can't donate them, which seems really awkward to me.
If you want Fun To Donate Cards, building a Zedruu EDH deck would fit that purpose a lot better.
About the only decent other card suggestion I've seen in legacy for donate comboing was using a singleton Illusion of Grandeur and Puca's Mischief in Enchantress as an alternate combo where both cards have value on their own, but when building Enchantress for GP Indy my friend and I both decided it was too cute and too much blue for the deck (he wound up splashing for Energy Field main and Energy Flux sb, and wound up losing his bubblematch for day 2)
You are just adding cards to the combo which is bad. Its the reason why Hivemind is bad. You are holding a lot of dead cards that doesn't matter until you have the combo.

Symbiotic Deployment is a potential card. =/

Enchantments are probably the best donate targets. Illusion of Grandur can only be interacted with by Stifle once it is passes like a hot potato.
Pyromancer's Swath is also very good. However it doesn't win you the game.
The Invasion Leeches are good, if you give them a leech of a color that they're not playing.

Err, uh, well of course you are supposed to use Alter Reality or similar at the same time. Painter's Servant perhaps. Not too janky. Not at all...
