I've played different versions of this deck since Dark Ascension in the tournament practice room on MTGO. It all started with a desire to make use of Archangel's Light. The initial idea was disrupt their game/absorb everything they can throw at you, hit reset with Archangel's Light then cruise to victory while all their threats have been spent.
The general strategy is to stall them with the walls/travelers until you can cast Terminus, then eventually come out ahead with the card advantage of Bloodgift Demon and Increasing Ambition.
I'm posting to get any general suggestions to make the deck more competitive. I can get blown out early against some aggro dekcs, but I'm specifically concerned with the card Doomed Traveler. I've never been qutie satisfied with it. It's in there to chump block, (which it does well), but I'm trying to find something better.
The sideboard isn't finished either. I don't like Killing Wave, but it's in there from previous testing.
I also just wanted to share and hear peoples' thoughts.
I think that you might have more luck with Tragic slip and Dead weight than doomed traveler and angelic wall. Also, if you find that nevermore is pretty good, you might have some luck with Appetite for Brains -- it gives you a peek to know what to call with nevermore.
Some facts of magic:
-Terror is an emotion which, when experienced, results in death.
-The pox was a disease notorious for having killed one-third, rounded up, of Europe’s population. Smallpox, on the other hand, killed only a single person.
-A person riding a horse cannot be stopped by foot soldiers, large animals, walls, archers, or even catapults.
