It's a custom card generator. The cards are totally unbalanced freaks of... Yikes, I don't WANT to know, but it certainly isn't nature; and only rarely even resemble balance.
Still, I decided it would be fun to create a format around them.
Required: 2 players, a computer hooked up to the internet, scraps of paper.
Set-up: Open up the internet, click the link. Players start with empty libraries, and go through 7 draw steps each, as described in Play. They last player to finish his draw steps goes first, skipping his first turn's draw step.
Play: During each player's draw step, he refreshes the page. He then writes down each of the cards on a scrap of paper. He then puts 2 on the bottom of his library, and 1 in his hand. He may opt not to refresh the page, and draw from his library, instead.
As usual, a player may only play one basic land each turn, except when an ability says otherwise. However, there are no basic lands. So, he plays a card face down as a basic land that shares a color with it. Colorless cards become lands that produce any color of mana, but enter the battlefield tapped.
Notice how cards have Converted Mana Costs, but not specific costs? They must be paid with at least a Majority being the color(s) they are. The following card:
Creature - Human Warrior (3/3, red)
1: put a +1/+1 counter on ~this~
Remove a +1/+1 counter from ~this~: attach target Equipment to target untapped creature with power X or more, where X is the number of card types among permanents an opponent controls (The card types are artifact, creature, enchantment, instant, land, planeswalker, sorcery and tribal). Gain control of that Equipment until end of turn
Remove a +1/+1 counter from ~this~ for each card in an opponent's hand: ~this~ deals 7 damage divided as you choose among any number of target creatures. When a creature damaged this way is put into a graveyard from the battlefield this turn, return it to the battlefield under your control
All tapped colourless creatures get +1/+0
Converted mana cost: 4
Would cost 2RR. At least half the cost must be paid with the color it has. Multicolor cards, such as
Creature - Goblin Samurai (2/1, red and black)
bushido X, where X is the number of poison counters you have
2BRG: clash with an opponent. If you win, destroy target untapped nonlegendary artifact you control
As long as ~this~ is untapped, All libraries gain ''All red enchantments gain protection from white''
Converted mana cost: 4
use hybrid symbols. So this card would cost 2(R/B)(R/B).
If you see awkward abilities, like the second card's "...All libraries gain...", you can agree with your opponent to clean it up, but not change it's effect. For example, you would probably agree that that would become "As long as ~ is untapped, All red enchantments gain protection from white". Otherwise, cards remain as they are.
Creature - Goblin Wizard (2/1, red)
haste
Converted mana cost: 7
is a hasty 2/1 goblin wizard for 3RRRR, there's nothing you can do about it. If a 1G sorcery turns a land into an Island until the end of turn, suck up the color bleed and turn a land into an island.
'Kay, some folks in the DCC have gotten some odd abilities:
you may tap or untap target library
Affinity for untapped libraries
The generator seems to think that the Library is a permanent type. When you get an ability that refers to the library like a permanent, you may choose to ignore that card, and when you've copied the card, generate a new page and copy the first card. Or you may choose to do what I did with the second card. Or just try and tap a library.
Land
~this~ enters the battlefield tapped.
4, T, sacrifice ~this~: each player may search his or her library for up to four basic land cards and put them into hand. Each player who searched his or her library this way shuffles it.
--Every fiercest map may sing
Although His beast surprises even the humanity
– Quigithia, Priest Wizard, Initiate Guardian of the Brotherhood of the Silent Citadel
Ignoring the flavor, because the flavor never makes sense, that pretty much rocks - doesn't put them on the field, basics only, and opponents get some, too, but really: 4 lands in the hand? For the cost of 1 land and 4 mana? Not bad. Not bad.
Creature - Human Wizard (2/2, blue)
U: counter target spell or ability and gain control of target permanent (This effect doesn't end)
Converted mana cost: 1
This seems fair
And this! LOL
Creature - Giant Knight (1/1, white)
3W: tap two target legendary libraries. When those permanents becomes the target of a spell or ability this turn, flip ~this~.
- - - - -
Legendary Creature - Giant Knight (2/7, white)
3, Sacrifice a green creature: target player puts a 1/1 white Cleric creature token onto the battlefield
When ~this~ leaves the battlefield, ~this~ deals 1 damage divided as you choose among any number of target attacking or blocking creatures for each poison counter you have. This damage can't be prevented
Converted mana cost: 7

Oh! Sorry, mod, I had intended this thread as both discussing the format, and games played with the format, but also cards genned by the generator the format runs on. Since it's the core component of the format, I thought that would be OK.
Hehe. Tap legendary libraries. that's funny. That would be a skip and regen in my books.
As I said, if you want to discuss Custom Cards, there's a forum for that. The cards generated are random and different for each game, thus discussing specific cards has little (no?) point in regards to the suggested format anyways.

If you know how to tap a library.
Also, there's a Custom Card Creation Contest Based on the generator now. Have fun.
Edit: Now, this is a nice card:

I wish I had genned this during a game. :`(

Btw, this:
is misleading. It'd be appreciated if you would change it to something that is not.
