As Marr walks down the path, he comes across what seems to be a child day care center. And sure enough, as he gets closer, he can hear the bustling of children in the playground behind the center.
A small boy is sitting on the front porch, playing with a small rat pokemon. He sees Marr approach, and jumps down. He runs up to Marr, who is probably twice this kid's size, and asks "Are you a pwokemon twainor? You wanna battle?"

The boy readies for battle, and, seeing as Marr has not done anything, initiates a first strike. "Watata! Use Tackle!" The Rattata lunges forward toward Marr and his ghost pokemon, weaving side to side as if to evade something, and jumps at the small ghost pokemon, attempting to tackle it.

OOC: Due to the unfortunate fact that Normal-type pokemon do no damage to Ghost-type pokemon, this will probably be an easy battle for you. Also, I will try to be a little more receptive to updates in the thread.

Ratatta jumps at what it thought was Ghastly but misses. Instead, it jumps straight through Ghastly's poison gas cloud it left behind. It crashes to the ground, coughing. However, it slowly gets up and runs over to its trainer. "Shoot. That not work.... I know! Rattata, use odor sleuth!". The ratatta sniffs around, and finds the opponent's ghastly behind the small boy. It growls growls at the ghastly..... but it looks weak.

The small orb of gas extends it's tongue towards the rat pokemon just fast enough to grab it before it dodged. As Ghastly's grip tightens, the Ratatta tries to break free, but it is useless. The Rattata faints, and ghastly releases his grip. The boy runs over to the rattata, and then runs into the day care center without a word.
