You begin looking for some Pokemon that are closer to your pokemons' levels. After a bit of searching you find a Rattata sitting on the edge of a Trashcan.
What would you like to do?
Don't be too afraid of high power level trainers. That'll happen to anyone that rolls as high as you did.
He smiles a bit to himself, "Alright, lets see how King does, come on out!" tosses the pokeball, calling out King.
However, before any order can be given, the Nidoran(M) Charges the Rattata to attempt to strike it with its horn. (Peck)
Derick panics a bit, "King! You're supposed to wait for an order!" However this falls on deaf ears.
The Rattata looks moderately irritated at the distraction from its feasting, and comes down quickly from it's trash can, attacking King with a storm of claws and bites. (Quick Attack)
King doesn't seem to let up, just getting more angry as he is attacked, though damage is a bit visible, he continues to strike out with his horn using his Peck attack relentlessly against the Rattata. His eyes closed as he just keeps stabbing in the direction of the pokemon.
Derick watches on in a bit of horror as the battle continues, this just doesn't seem like something a pokemon should be doing naturally. He was going to have to put more work into this then he thought, but for the mean time, he just watched as King continued the offensive as he had helplessly done against Iron earlier, with moderately more success against the Rattata.
He almost forgets to open up his PokeTool to record the fight, not actually remembering till its already actually started.
Some of the pecks landed on Rattata, but the sheer volume of attacks also greatly reduced the strength and accuracy. The mouse pokemon turned on King and tried to focus its energy to prepare for a haymaker attack. (Well, at least what counts as a haymaker attack for such a little creature)
King is already pretty beaten up due to the Quick successions of bites and scratches, his breathing already a bit heavier.
Derick noticed this, and was initially going to let him go a bit more, till his PokeTool device beeped a bit, its analyzer overlay of the recording video showing tightening of muscles in the Rattata, commonly known as the Focus Energy move based on analysis. That Made him worry a bit, he quickly pulled out Kings Pokeball, "King, Return!" The Red beam went out and pulled back the small hurt King. Derick quickly glanced to the side, "Iron, get in there, and make sure to stay tough, luckly you have a good enough defense to stand just about anything it can throw at you." He thinks allowed.
The little Aron rushes forward, his armor giving off a bit of a sheen as he charges forward. (Harden)
(ooc: if that is to much, please let me know and I will remove Iron's move from this part.)
Unfazed by the change of opponents, the Rattata charges in with a focused tackle in an attempt to knock the Aron over onto its back and expose its softer underside.
Iron kept a close eye on the Rattata, his armor remaining in its Hardened state, countering with his own close range Tackle when the Rattata came running, increasing the amount of force both of them would feel, when they hit each other, a loud 'Clang' resonates in the immediate area.
After the strike, Iron has stumbled back a bit but remained on his feet, but his head armor was a bit scuffed up.
The force of the combined attacks is enough to put Rattata in the dirt. It tries valiantly to stand, but its legs are shaky and not quite able to support its own weight. (hp red)
Iron looks to Derick to see what his orders are, but he is just standing there, he sighs a bit, "... I think its pretty much over," The fight seemed over as it is, the Rattata being unable to move, he thinks for a moment still though, should he finish it, let it recover slowly on its own perhaps, maybe capture it to take it to the pokemon center and store.
He sighs, "Come on Iron, lets let him be..." they turn to go, he pauses, pulling out a small package of pokemon food from his bag, opening it and setting it near the Rattata, "Sorry, I know life in a city setting for a pokemon is rough, you really should try to get back out to the forest, I'm sure you'll be much more comfortable there." He smiles, turning and going, the bag is just like a travel pack, so not much, but helpful. Him and Iron head off... (continued in the main Thread)
It for some reason seems to have no effect on the Aron at this range, the pokemon does pout a bit and look back at his trainer.
Derick picks up the energies of the Hypnosis on his PokeTool, "Oh wow, this Hoothoot already has some experience..." he smiles a bit, "Lets shake it out of that tree, Tackle Iron!"
"Aron!" the little pokemon responds, turning to the tree, then running into it, a solid 'Thunk' resonates as the tree shakes from the impact, a few leafs falling.
Aron's tackle against the tree is enough to shake the Hoothoot off the branch. It then flies above the ground and appeared to be concentrating on something distant while it hovers. (Foresight)
Derick sets King down now that he seems to actually be sitting there and focusing on the fight, he goes back to the PokeTool to analyze and observe, "Alright, Iron, lets soften it up for capture, Tackle attack!"
Iron smiles, shifting away from the tree and rushing towards the Hoothoot now on the ground, hoping to hit it before it can get to high off the ground again, leaping at it.
Hoothoot started to charge toward Aron at the same time. Each one ran toward the other, and the collision sent both of them rolling, though Hoothoot appeared the worse off from the two. It righted itself and growled (which sounded more like angry chirps and hooting, but you know)
"Alright Iron, take a break," Derick says, then looks down to King, "You ready for another go?" The Nidoran(M) Nods a bit, and charges forward, "Peck attack now!"
King does so, charging rapidly to attack the Hoothoot as Iron returns to Dericks side.
The attack caught Hoothoot by surprise, and the little Nidoran stabs its little horn into the side of the owl. The battle isn't over yet, and Hoothoot tries to get a firm grasp on one of King's back spikes, and flail its bodydownward into the Nidoran from above. (improvised tackle)
It works, the Nidoran(M) making an noise of pain as its slammed into the ground. Though now the Hoothoot probably made a mistake in its placement. King improvises a bit himself, pushing hard off the ground, shoving its back spikes up at the Hoothoot that was pushing down(Super improvised Peck).
The attack dislodges Hoothoot's grip on King's back, and the force of the lunge forces the owl pokemon to flutter away a bit before landing on its one leg. Breathing heavily, it tries to catch the Nidoran in another wave of hypnosis.
This one, unlike the previous one, hits dead on. King attempts to fight off the effects, but just doesn't have the will power it seems as he stumbles, and falls asleep.
Derick is a little worried, but he knows its just sleep and that King should be okay. However, he isn't about to let this prize of a bird escape. He quickly pulls out one of his pokeballs and throws it in order to attempt to catch the now injured owl pokemon.
Derick smiles, moving over and picking up the pokeball, thinking a bit, "Welcome to the team Sage," he nods a bit. He looks over to the now slumbering King and returns him as well. Then Finally he looks towards Iron, "Alright, I think that's enough adventure for one day," the small pokemon nods and with that, they head to the Pokemon Center to heal up and rest for the night.
Derick smiles, "An Oddish! What a perfect pokemon to help round out our team!" he says quietly, yet excitedly. Iron is about to advance when his trainer kneels and stops him, whispering, "We will let Sage handle this, see how he does, you can get the next one, alright?" The steel pokemon nods, pouting just a bit.
Willow's prepares, opening his PokeTool to start recording, taking out his pokeball, whispering to it, "Sage, Get in close fast and use Hypnosis," he nods, throwing Sages Ball into the air. There is a bright flash, and the Hoothoot is released, he dives towards the Oddish preparing his best Hypnosis to use before the Oddish can realize whats going on.

Rattata takes the food offered to it, and after a minute slowly scampers off with the food in its mouth.
"Aron ron!" the pokemon responds, heading over to the tree and looking up, "Aron Ar!" he calls up to the Hoothoot to get her attention.
