The Dragon-type growled, flexing the muscles in its torso as it prepared to weather the blow, opening its mouth wide to sink its teeth into the bird as it hit him.
Ian saw their chance to do some damage, seeing the flying Pokemon flinch under the weight of the Dragon-type's jaws. "Now, Bagon! Headbutt with all you got!"
The dragon roared and charged forward the short distance between it and its opponent, head ducked down in an attempt to deliver a devastating blow.
The gusts of wind left gashes in Bagon's hard skin, but they only seemed to piss Bagon off more as it roared again, charging forward towards the bird with teeth bared and claws extended, ignoring the fact that Ian was supposed to be the one in command.
Ian gritted his teeth, reaching back to grab his Pokeball - whether or not this attack landed, he'd have to recall Bagon until he cooled down a bit.
Pidgeotto was taken out of the battle, and Bryan switched in Pikachu. "All right, give it a good Thundershock!" Pikachu blasted a storm of electricity at Bagon.
Bagon was blown backwards, its defenses down as it continued to rage on the battlefield. Ian cursed under his breath and brought out the dragon's Pokeball, recalling it in a flash of red light.
He tucked it under his belt, shaking his head, and looked at the Pikachu for a long moment before tossing out his next Pokemon - Houndour. "Now, Houndour! Ember!"
The fire dog tilted its head back, tufts of flame escaping from its jaws as it shot plumes of fire at the lightning mouse.
Houndour growled, lowering down on its haunches as it prepared to weather the blow. Ian was prepared for the counterattack. "Houndour, counter with Bite when it gets close enough!"
Houndour couldn't get away fast enough to avoid the blast of electricity, but it was quick to recover as it shook its head and glared at the little mouse. "Bite it again!"
Critical hit! Houndour's jaws snapped on Pikachu, taking it out of the battle. Bryan recalled the defeated pokemon, and congratulated you on the victory.

A nearby rustling caused him to lift his head, looking off into the grass. A small Cherubi was drifting between the grass searching for seeds to eat; it didn't seem to notice them. Pidgeotto was the closest to Ian; he tilted his head towards it and nudged it with his foot. The bird's feathers rustled silently as it cocked its head up, and seeing Ian point outwards, followed his finger. It saw the Cherubi and slowly uncurled its wings from its chest. Ian motioned for it to be silent, and then made a hand gesture that signified to attack. The bird Pokemon nodded with its head and charged towards the Cherubi to tackle it.
Caught up in the winds as it was, the seeds seemed to fly everywhere, though; Pidgeotto swerved to avoid the rest, darting away in a spiraling motion that took it lower to the ground.
The other Pokemon around Ian were starting to wake up; the battle was making a lot of noise. He called over to Pidgeotto. "Keep your distance from those seeds! Gust, once more!"
The bird Pokemon chirped and flapped its wings powerfully towards the Cherubi, once more stirring up wild gusts of wind.
