They've all got weapons nearby them. There's a sword and a knife on the ground next to the human, a bow and a knife sitting on the bench behind the elf, and a small collection of axes littering the ground around the dwarf.

Bump. If you guys want, we can fast forward until the rain ends. Or if you want to ask them any more questions before we do that, you can do that too. Up to you guys.

OOC: I can't think of any questions Erik has...he's trying to keep his cards pretty close to his chest at the moment, and figures the other group is, too.

Sorry, I've been busy. +Wasting too much of my free time doing things like reading the latest CI drama. I'm sure that's been distracting Talore a lot as well.
"Well, thank you for sharing your fire." Disell says with another small curtsy, "My name is Disell, he's Erik, this is Tiran, and... er, Cale." She gestures to each of them in turn.
She sits down next to the dwarf.
I have another question after whatever conversation/reaction this starts finishes, but it isn't at all important so if I leave you hanging for no apparent reason, I don't mind moving past it.

I'll bet you wish you had a non-unglued/unhinged card that shared your first name.
The dwarf nods to the human, then the elf. "The quiet fellow is Airre. Our charming elven friend is Zalean. And I'm Dorin Stonebrow, at your service."
The human nods politely, while the elf ignores the introductions.
Zalean looks up after a few moments, and says "I think I've figured out what you're all doing here. You're heading to the Temple of the Moon. Trying to get in and find a floor tile before anyone else does while everyone is slowed down by the rain. Am I close?"
While the group has been talking the rain has started coming down even harder. Distantly, almost drowned out by the crashing of the rain hitting the shelter, the ominous rumble of thunder promises even worse weather to come. Fortunately, the wind hasn't strengthened with the rain. Though that could change when the thunderstorm arrives. Winter storms on the northern seas are notoriously unpredictable.
The fire has kept the cold at bay so far, but the temperature is dropping outside the canopy. If the wind picks up, it could make life even more miserable than it was during the hike up the hill.

My unique situation as the only Gutter regular on staff has made the last few days hell for me...
Tiran focuses primarily on warming himself, but after the dwarf finishes his introductions he cheerfully thanks them. "A campfire on a cold night is the sweetest respite. I thank you deeply for your hospitality," he says warmly. Turning to the elf, as he directed his thanks primarily to the other two, he responds "t'would seem so! It's a hell of a time finding it in this weather, though."
The dwarf laughs, looking at Tiran. "I don't doubt it. Place is hard enough to find without all the rain and fog. It's near here, fortunately. About a fifteen minute hike up to the top of the hill. You're welcome for the fire, by the way. Just because we're competing doesn't mean we can't be friendly." He says that last bit while staring right at the elf. Zalean glares back in response.
Airre responds to Cale while putting his hands close to the fire to warm them. "Just worked out that way."
Zalean nods. "We didn't plan on being so close to the Temple. Didn't even know it was here until earlier. We were exploring the area and stumbled on it accidentally. Haven't been in there yet. We heard it was dangerous while we were still in town and we hadn't prepared for any kind of fight. Figured we'd do it after it stopped raining."
The elf looks upward, though the sky isn't visible through the fog. "It doesn't seem like that will be happening any time soon..."

Erik looked around. "I confess, I don't know much about the temple myself, so I'm...ah...not sure what to expect..." He said, fussing with his glasses as the fog up. Repeatedly.
Zalean, naturally, doesn't appear to be amused. A look of annoyance furrows his brow, and he opens his mouth to make some snide comment.
Airre cuts him off with a raise of his hand. The elf shoots the human a dark look, but Airre simply rolls his eyes. "Enough." Zalean doesn't look happy, but he refrains from his insults.
Dorin practically falls out of his seat with laughter. "The proud elf, told to shut up by a simple human? And he actually listens? I never thought I'd see the day."
Still with a look of mirth across his face, the dwarf says "We know about as much as you, I guess. A temple of some ancient religion. Guess they're scattered about back on the main land. The locals said it was dangerous and that Markam was going to get someone killed, sending people in there. That's about all we know, which is why we didn't go poking our noses around in there when we found it earlier. We ain't stupid."
He glances over at Zalean with a malicious grin. "At least, most of us aren't." Zalean's eye twitches as he glances over at Airre. Airre simply smiles a little, then gives Dorin an annoyed look. Dorin raises his hands in a placating gesture and mutters "Fine, fine. Go ahead and ruin all my fun..."

Erik fidgeted, wilting under the glare of the elf. "That...um...that's about all that I know. I...ah...wish I had spent more time studying them..." He replied, a bit thoughtful.
Dorin smiles and gestures to the shelter. "Well if you decide to wait until it's a bit more dry out, you're welcome to stay here until it stops raining."
