Alright, then the others or I will be able to give some advice then.
I am currently looking at the d20srd, and reading the gestalt rules, and the only thing I am unsure of currently is whether I can take a prestige class or not?

yes, you are able to prestige, just ask about which ones for approval.

no matter, think I am going to go Monk / Cleric, I like the idea of being able to Stunning Fist a Cure Serious Wounds spell, HEHEHE scratch that, I am unsure now after seeing Sep's character...

We are using Max HP Progression so no need for rolling HP, you just pick which side gives you the highest Dice+ Con Modifier and multiply that by 16 (Im assuming you aint multiclassing)

DC usually when formatting the classes you should consider doing it like this:
Class A/ Class B-C-D if Applicable/ PrC1-2-3 if applicable // Class 1/ Class 2-3-4 if applicable/ PrC a-b-c if Applicable
So your sheet would go from:
Mnk 8 / Ro 8 / Duel 8 / ShDa 8
to:
Monk 8/ Shadow Dancer 8 // Rogue 8/ Duelist 8
using the '//' allows for people to see the separate progressions , also if you have Complete Warrior you can just get Swashbuckler instead of Duelist, that way you can also get Daring Outlaw and make the 2 classes stack so you get a level the benefits of level 16 Sneak Attack and level 16 grace, it also gives you Weapon Finesse for free .
But like I always say its your concept, just throwing ideas around.
Also isnt there a weapon property that allows you to use Flurry and Stunning... i think its Ki Focus.... i'll check MIC later to make sure
Sceluk: I dont think either Vulnerable or Inattentive could be considered flaws that actually Hamper your character... a flaw more fitting would be Non-Combatant since it puts a -2 penalty to attack rolls... or the ones that put -3 to a save, also check if Drunken Master Advances Flurry of Blows if so you get more extra attacks and no penalty.
Keifru: I cant even tell what your classes are to be honest...

I do not have Complete Warrior soooo... cannot do what you suggest.
However the way I progressed them was:
Monk 8 / Rogue 8 // Duelist 8 / Shadow Dancer 8
I was trying to use abbreviations of some sort so I didn't have to use the full names for those classes, but wasn't sure on what the appropriate abbrev's for each of those classes was...

Duelist is a PrC though... so you kinda have to swap them around since i really doubt you can meet all the requirements of the PrC by level 1... Abbreviations are ok (I only used the full names to make it clear not because abbreviations are wrong).
So it should really be Monk 8/ PrC A 8// Rogue 8 /PrC B 8
up to you in which side you put the PrC's, but you wont be able to put Class A/ Class B // PrC A/ PrC B... since you cant meet the requirements for the PrC's at level 1

I thought that what I was doing was advancing Monk and Rogue together for 8 levels so I could meet the requirements for both prestige classes using those two ordinary classes and then taking both prestige classes and leveling them together seperate from the Monk and Rogue?

Dalkon is right, your classes do not have to follow a set line
you can go rogue 4/fighter 4
rogue 5/fighter 5
prestige class 1/rogue 6
classes do not follow a set side, they only care whether you meet the prerequistes or not.

ok ill explain it in a level by level break down (lets assume you just progressed both Monk and Rogue to level 8 before you did any PrC ok?)
Level 1: Side A 1(lets assume this is Monk) // Side B 1(lets assume this is Rogue)
Level 2: Side A 2 // Side B 2
Level 3: Side A 3 // Side B 3
Level 4: Side A 4 // Side B 4
Level 5: Side A 5 // Side B 5
Level 6: Side A 6 // Side B 6
Level 7: Side A 7 // Side B 7
Level 8: Side A 8 // Side B 8
Level 9: Side A 8/ PrC A (Lets Assume Shadow Dancer) 1 // Side B 8/ PrC B (Lets Assume Duelist) 1
Level 10: Side A 8/ PrC A 2 // Side B 8/ PrC B 2
Level 11: Side A 8/ PrC A 3 // Side B 8/ PrC B 3
Level 12: Side A 8/ PrC A 4 // Side B 8/ PrC B 4
Level 13: Side A 8/ PrC A 5 // Side B 8/ PrC B 5
Level 14: Side A 8/ PrC A 6 // Side B 8/ PrC B 6
Level 15: Side A 8/ PrC A 7 // Side B 8/ PrC B 7
Level 16: Side A 8/ PrC A 8 // Side B 8/ PrC B 8
Thats how the progression would go since both sides advance at the same time
Edit: Never Mind DM has adjudicated here.... maybe im operating under a misunderstandin.... but i though DC said he progressed it as Monk 8/ Rogue 8 //Duelist 8/Shadow Dancer 8... which is what i found odd since progression B is done by only PrC and i wasnt aware you could even do that... i understood Racial HD in one side but this one is new... but since you are allowing it i really cant say anything
I see, I didn't realize that was how it worked, so I am still progressing at the same rate as I described if I use your method for cataloging it, it just looks different than I had initially used?
I am going to follow Sepiriel's concept, sense it seems to make the most sense from what I can see, based simply on how he outlined the way it looked. I guess I just didn't understand how a gestalt character was supposed to look.
Anyways still looking for help picking out the last three feats for my character. nevermind I have choosen some feats that I think will be relatively useful for my character
The first post of this will need your sheets, so if you post here and don't add your sheet, just edit and add it later.
The rules were stated earlier so I don't think they need to be stated again.
Bring on the sheets.
