So, are you looking to DM a game in the PnP Inn? Want to start a campaign, volunteer for a tutorial, or run a one-shot adventure? If so, you will need to join the DM User Group.
In order to do that, please Pm Yukora or Nai expressing an interest in becoming a DM. Sending a PM is not a guarantee of becoming a DM, but if you can verify that you have adequate experience and interest, then it is a good chance you will be in.
We're looking for all kinds of DMs here, for all sorts of games and adventures.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or any other WPL in the Inn.

[16:23] Alacar Leoricar: maybe if you do it'll make the porn more meaningful
Not to infringe on your guy's territory, but applying for the DM user group would be greatly assisted if you click on User Control Panel > Group Memberships > Click on the DM user group > Join Group.
Well, I got my DM badge, now I'm wondering just who would be interested in joining an epic level campaign near the end of July. Starting level would be 25, and if you want anything weird (as to race, usually, though I have no clue what Incarnum is all about) asking first is generally a good idea.
If you're interested, drop a line somewhere, or maybe I should make a thread for this...meh I have no idea.
And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

This is Deraxas we're talking about.
Remember, the girl that just killed an aspect of herself before literally consuming her?
Yeah, I don't see her handling a pissing match in any way other than a duel.

There are only so many epic, psuedonatural barbarian/blackguard half-dragon akutenshai vampire balor paragons they can throw at you, right?

I suppose it's true. Though the logistics implied in a human/Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon pairing makes me shudder.
...Something tells me that even should all arcane casters in the world unite, that the Grease spell would NOT be sufficient.
That means sitting down telling people what happened to them for 5 hours
Basically, the DM runs the game. He/she tells the players what happens, the players tell the DM how they respond, and repeat. The DM decides what the terrain looks like, where the doors are, how many ogres show up (or if they're actually dire badgers or wolves instead of ogres). The DM can even choose what falls out of the sky and how much damage you take if he/she wants to (though these things are usually determined by rolling dice).
A good saying to remember (common among D&D players I've played with) says: "The DM is not God. God is one of his little minions."
^ Would be nice to get a group starting on here... and yet that application was made four weeks ago. Any word on what happened? Is anything else coming along the way?
I don't know if this'll be faster than the PM system, but I'll post my question here as well.
I'd like to start up a Vampire: the Requiem game here, but y'all don't have that as a supported system yet . . .

Never forget: there's always someone bigger, better and stronger than you.
Someone once asked me why, when I talk about House Dimir, I don't put the word "the" in front of it.
At the time, I had no answer, but it just came to me.
Do we put the word "the" in front of God?

Everything I say is fully substantiated by my own opinion.
The Pen & Paper Inn officially endorses and supports the following systems:
Dungeons & Dragons
Advanced Dungeons & Dragons
Dungeons & Dragons v3.0/3.5
Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition
The Star Wars Roleplaying Game (All editions)
d20 Modern, Past, & Future
True20
And other d20 system games. This is due to several reasons. First, D&D and d20 are WotC products, the company that fosters Magic, the site's main topic. Secondly, it offers open-gaming content, meaning we can refer the rules openly without infringing copyright law.
Other gaming systems aren't so universally available. Currently I'm asking other Dungeon Masters to weigh in on the topic, of whether the P&PI should allow other systems in the Inn, or suggest they move their game to the main Colo thread.
In order to do that, please Pm Yukora or Nai expressing an interest in becoming a DM. Sending a PM is not a guarantee of becoming a DM, but if you can verify that you have adequate experience and interest, then it is a good chance you will be in.

Running a single game all the time. Check it out. Always happy so see a new face.
I'd very much like to become DM since I'm planning out a game of my own here. Sent an invite for the DM group last week but haven't been accepted.
I've DM'd a number of 3.5 and 4.0 DnD campaigns, none were flops and most all made it to lvl 30+
