MTG Salvation

An opulent space beneath the Consortium building is used for Duels for Planeswalkers, as their powers may or may not be too much for the general populace of the City of Guilds.

This is for Raikou Rider and silverthorn2009 only. Unless you are a WPL, you will feel the wrath of Bob.

Walking over to a Pit far away from the creepy white haired one, Ivy waits patiently for her opponent, a steady green aura emenating from her.

Anna's hands and wings started glowing blue as she stepped down into the arena. I'm gonna make sure she gets it, she smiled, rubbing her hands back and forth.



Raising her hands and opening a planar gate to Queen Oona's palace, two sentinel sprites flew in to protect the winged girl from harm, their scimitars laughably small when observed from human (or elven) eyes.

Pass.

"Ah, so you are friends with the Fey folk, are you? I have my own friends..."

While speaking, the twigs in her hair and the leaves of her dress start to rattle, and green energy seeps out of them, crawling onto the floor, coalescing into three plant like creatures, standing guard around her.


End turn if no responses.

More of the fae assembled, these ones lancers. Spears were actually great weapons for fae warriors to wield, given their near unlimited mobility, and to a lesser extent, their high speed. The three buzzed toward the otherworldly elf, blades pointed toward her.

The plant creature swat at the fae, trying in futility to stop their advance, but to no avail. Ivy swats one of them, in an attempt to destroy one, but only seems to anger the capricious little thing.

Anna's ranks continued to grow, a mesmerizingly beautiful sprite joining the warriors. She waved her hand toward one of the large plants and projected an image of the Thelon's woods in front of it. The next glamer led the plant to believe that the woods were at her side.


Pass.

Losing one of her friends was saddening, but not unforgivable. Her friends grew little mushrooms on their bodies, and Ivy's leaves rustled again, sending out little tendril's of energy. Three spider like things showed up, coming from the energy.

What are those things? Anna asked herself. Like it matters. A second clique of lancers materialized in front of her in the blink of an eye, followed by a third...but this one was noticeably different. And larger in number. The reckless assault continued, the nimble, tiny pranksters continuing to turn Ivy's face into Swiss cheese.

Again, her plant creatures try in vain to stop the attack, along with her curious little spider things, yet again to no avail.

"That is starting to get really annoying. But, all in due time, all in due time....."
Her leaves and twigs glowing with energy once again, more creatures show themselves, and her previous creatures grow more mushrooms.

End Turn

A third clique of lancers burst in from seemingly nowhere., followed shortly by another swarm that was growing so quickly, it looked and sounded like a sphere of wings and giggles. The fluttery air force charged at Ivy again, Anna turning around and burst-firing her wings in an effort to tease her with a sharp burst of wind.

Taking the hits once again, her plants again trying to thwart the oncoming fey. The flying buzzing things knocking her to the ground, their swords and lances piercing her skin, and drawing blood, causing it to flow profusely.

Rising up from the ground, Ivy takes on a look of seriousness that was all to familiar to her. Her leaves shake, and a large being comes forward from the folds of her leaves. The mushrooms start to fall off of some of her friends, combining into smaller, plant like things. Then, one of the spider like things grows grey, its shhell cracks, and an elf climbs out of it, with four more of the little plant creatures with it, and he starts to chant, causing the little plants to grow larger. With that, the larger plants head towards the flying elf, hoping to pay her back for what she has done.

With a snap of Anna'a finger, two more sword-wielding sprites came to her side, flitting in circles around the swarming cliques. Inspired by the show, the two shielded the elf from harm, stinging and taunting the sentient plants until they fell. Anna herself smiled, then laughed at Ivy. "You seriously thought that trick would work?"

Seeing her friends go down so easily, Ivy dismisses her friends. "I do not have the powers needed to defeat you. Perhaps i can find another that is more easily overrun. I bid you good day!" With that said, she seems to disintegrate, as Bob shows up from nowhere, healing her, and she leaves the Pit. Bob sends a purple stream of energy to Anna, healing her if she needed it, and granting her knowledge.
