As the ray strikes the enchantress, she is blown to thousands of miniscule pieces that fly around in all directions forming a dustcloud. Only her clothing, dust, and final words remain lingering in the air, ordering the two dragonkin to attack Aussir.

You two are fighting Halinn in a courtyard, where he just killed a sorceress of the castle. In the meanwhile, Talore is charging headlong to the basement where a summoning has gone awry. Alone.
Dalkon is having adventures with women.
Succesfull DMing, I take it.

You, Cabal-chan, forgot your Divine Grace class ability. You add your Cha bonus to your saves (you should put it on your sheet). And I forgot my Still Mind class feature, which gives me a +2 versus enchantment.
This time Skorri feels the spell. For a moment, he is enraged at the other dragon, and the command swells within him to attack and destroy--but his training kicks in, and his mind shuts down his rage--or at least redirects it.
"That *****! That horrible *****! I wanted to help her, and she-- Oh, I guess you got her already. Good work."
Note to self: Give following casters spell focus and higher spellcasting stat, etc.
Either way, I suppose you'd better head down with Talore, since he's going there. He still has the previous suggestion on him.

Meanwhile, while I go to get myself killed, I'll cast the extended righteous might, Extended Divine Power, Bull's Strength, True Seeing, Freedom of Movement, Entropic Shield, Protection from Evil, and Brilliant Aura, if it is 1min/level, which I think it is (away from Spell Compendium).
Damnit, if I'm going to face this challenge alone, I'm going to make sure I have the best chance of surviving I can get.
Also, if I am able to see the encounter before it happens, I'll spend the round before it begins casting Visage of the Diety.
EDIT: As Amadi says too. I'm taking single move-actions + buff for the standards, so double-moving would mean you catch up soon.
The dwarf has another set of confused blinking before his mind is cleared. "Kwi danthe, nomeno ui gethrisjir ekess qe vi jekip sjek creolna ehtahic ekik..."
"Oh dear, this is going to be a mess if someone finds out..."
Giving one last look at the pile of dust covered clothing, Urak heads off after Vale, double time.
As the group runs down the stairs to the basement, they are greeted by the smell of scorched flesh and death throes. As they reach the bottom, they find a large room with elevated edges around a round pit, which is engraved full of arcane runes. What is of more immediate interest, however, is a giant, flaming snake standing at the bottom of the pit, surrounded by three huge fire elementals. There is some kind of shimmering aura around the snake. These creatures seem to have entered through a rift at the bottom of the pit, and all the acolytes in the room have been slaughtered brutally, only smoldering charchoal left of their remains.
I suppose we are going to roll initiative again, since there was a pause in action while you guys buffed. Players whose initiative is before the monsters act, then monsters act, everyone acts, and so on. I believe this is the best way to run this, instead of running complete rounds and sorting out everything afterwards.
Initiative:

Dispelling Screen, centered on the snake.
There is a breach in the system near the other side of the room.
Monsters will keep running in through the rift until it is closed. To stop that, someone needs a way to close it. Chalk, or anything else capable of inscribing on stone, to re-complete the ritual.
The snake is a flame-snake, a fairly intelligent evil beast. It is vulnerable to cold.
The creature can breath fire, and can channel negative energy. It will explode as it dies. It possesses self-healing qualities.
It has fire-related magic abilities. The magic aura around it is not its' making. Its' poison will burn inside the victim's veins.

Two of the three fire-elementals charge Valeshrahk, attempting to reach at him with their arms of flame through the magical sphere, and to burn him to cinders. The heat down here starts to be unbearable as they approach, but there is no time to worry as the snake strikes forward, walking near the party and letting loose a breath of flame, engulfing them all in embers that seem to be draining their lifeforce and burning it as another source of fuel. Finally, the last elemental charges forward, attacking Skorri the same way the others struck Valeshrahk. After this initial attack, the fire elementals are right on your skin, with the snake coiled tall behind them, barely fitting under the roof. The magical shield extends past the snake, but not to the elementals in front of it.

(Note that Skorri is immune to fire. This reduces a fair amount of the damage even if I miss these saves. I'll note the damage after I see the saves. He also still has his +9 Inertial Armor bonus, so the crit does not confirm).
I'm also first in initiative after the monsters, so I know I have time to do this---
As the fire elemental strikes him, Skorri roars in pain--but mostly in rage. He focuses for a moment, and suddenly his form doubles in size, matching the size of the fire elementals. Then he counterattacks the one that had struck him.

I....I think the fire elemental might go down, here.
The issue with that, of course, is that the snake is pretty damn tall when coiled, and the elementals are not small, either. You can't really block the top off without trying to cut them in half.
Not to mention that the spell wouldn't effect area covered by the dispelling screen, anyway.

Sorry, took me a while to take the time to make a map during christmasy-times. There's not much else to update, though. The red squares = elementals. The walls in the center around the pit are not all the way to the roof. Your character is their name's first letter. If you don't choose a colour, you will be pink. Pinkforever. Foooreeeveeeeerrrrrr...
The darker area in the middle of the pit is the lolmagicshield, which is going to die at Aussir's turn. The creature in it is the snake. The green area in the back is the part where the magic ritual circle is broken. There are a few corpses lying around the room, but I didn't bother marking them, since there's not much left of them anyway. You also suspect that the snake ate a few. Since I forgot to deselect the yell-ow-ish square on the right before screenshotting, it contains the only even remotedly-intact corpse.
The room is about 30-ft high. The pit is about 10-ft deep, and the walls on the sides are 5ft above the normal ground level. There is a steep ramp to the pit in front of you. Coiled and "standing", the snake almost reaches the roof.
Also, Cabal. You can do all kinds of fancy stuff. Buff yourself, buff others, heal, stuff. Or attack. Or something. You even have a breath-weapon.

I'm a little surprised. I took my turn trying to bash in the head of one of the fire elementals. I didn't know its AC, so I couldn't be sure of how much damage it took, but I rolled two crits and a fair number of other high rolls. Did I really not manage to kill it?
I'll update that when everyone has their actions in order. Mostly Cabal now, but yeah, one is pretty much gone and done with.
