As a dual-class prestige, Daggerspell Mage is technically illegal in Gestalt. It probably doesn't matter if the other side is Dread Pirate, though.

The Sage is occupied with the unspoken
and acts without effort.
Teaching without verbosity,
producing without possessing,
creating without regard to result,
claiming nothing,
the Sage has nothing to lose.
General power level and optimization in campaigns I run is fairly high, Talore. The reason for this is that I rarely use unintelligent enemies, and anything my players pull I consider more than fair game for /me/ to use.
I will gracefully remind people of my Prismatic Sphere/Dimensional Lock trick, as well as the statue that teleported away anything that physically attacked it.
I personally favor spellcasters. And incantatrixes.
Re: Daggerspell/other dual classes: Thou shalt not use them with the base classes that they improve. Ever. And feats like Swift Hunter are more than banned; using them will result in a 5000d20 divine blast aimed where you won't want it. <3
Sep: Probably around level 15, because in gestalt, that's equivalent to epic.
And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

Remember, the girl that just killed an aspect of herself before literally consuming her?
Yeah, I don't see her handling a pissing match in any way other than a duel.

I suppose it's true. Though the logistics implied in a human/Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon pairing makes me shudder.
...Something tells me that even should all arcane casters in the world unite, that the Grease spell would NOT be sufficient.
Hm... I need a PrC that goes well with the "tricksy magical pirate" theme then.
Rogue/Swashbuckler//Sorcerer is the concept I'm most interested in. Just need a PrC on the Sorcerer side that fits the theme, provides some spellcasting punch, and lets me do amusingly underhanded things with magic.
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p

Wow... if you allow flaws and the use of Weapon Groups for Focus Feats then i actually only need to substract a level to that character i was talking about... however im already expecting the poor thing to be completely underpowered and at least 5-6 things i did wrong in the overall concept

Beguiler? Something like it? Feel free to Daggerspell with something that /isn't/ something it improves.
Oh so I could do something like Rogue 5/Sorcerer 5, then go Swashbuckler 10/Daggerspell Mage 10?
Basically taking the Rogue and Sorcerer levels at 1-5, then going with a different base class and the Daggerspell Mage for the next ten? Just so long as I'm not taking Rogue or Sorcerer levels at the same time as Daggerspell Mage, right?

Sorcerers get bonus feats like wizards and Eschew Materials as bonus at 1st level. Can choose draconic feats as a bonus feat (or other types of bloodlines if you can justify it).

And how much gold do we start with?
I've got a really fun concept in mind. He even uses "pistols". And has a penchant for Quickened Dimension Door-ing all over the damn place.
He's super feat-hungry though. Might have to take a few levels in Fighter purely to pick up the ones I'll need.

Standard money for lv 15.
