Seriously - What the heck are you people doing? I can't save anyone else until we rest.
I have just enough magic left to refill the ring in preparation of our excursion after we rest. I'm not wasting being primed for later on anyone's ADD. I've got one spell left to help Kahedron before I have to save the rest, FYI.
I had a poke around on the WOTC forum yesterday and found a summary + ranking of the feats.
@Iso just having a poke through the PHB it is almost worth it you getting a single level of Fighter and taking the 2 weapon fighting style then going back to rogue next level and take Dual wield as your feat choice.
As long as you are using finesse weapons you would add your Dex bonus to both attacks and gain a bonus to your AC

Hmm, explain how that would work?
Normally when fighting with 2 weapons you cna only use light ones like shortswords and daggers and only add your stat bonus to your main weapon.
Taking 1 level of fighter gives you D10 hit dice, full weapon and armour proficiences and 1 fighting style. If you take two weapon fighting you get to add your stat bonus to both weapons. In your case Dex bonus with any finese weapon but you are still limited to light weapons.
On getting your 5th character level take your 4th Rogue level and instead of taking the stat bonus take dual wield which will give you 1+ AC when using 2 weapons and remove the restriction on having to use light weapons, so you can use a rapier. Also see the note I made in the game thread. Critical hits double the bonus damage given from sneak attacks. If I had known that last night I might have killed one of them.

IMO Two-Weapon Fighting is not great. You get an extra attack, but it has to be your Bonus Action. This means that it competes with every other possible bonus action, like the free Dash or Disengage that the Rogue can do. Also, unlike 3.5, Sneak Attack is limited to once per turn, so having the ability to make a second attack won't let you double down on your Sneak Attack dice.
Dipping into Fighter, even for one level, means you forfeit your level-20 capstone ability, which is frankly pretty insane on the Rogue (it lets you, once per short-rest, turn a miss into a hit or a failed skill check into a 20). Getting the proficiencies of Fighter doesn't help Rogue all that much, since you're never going to be using heavier armor anyways (since you've got enough of a Dex bonus that you're losing out on AC to do so, and it also hampers your ability to stealth). Also, just a sidenote, but if you look at the Multiclassing section, just dipping into Fighter for one level does NOT give you full armor proficiencies, just Light/Medium.
So basically, you're taking a level AND a feat to be able to get a second attack with a rapier, which will give you, at most, 1d8+5 damage (this is assuming 20 dex, which you probably don't have at this point, especially if you're taking a feat at 4 instead of a stat-up). And you get +1 AC from the feat. Whoo. This comes at the cost of your Bonus Action (meaning there will be a ton of opportunities where you can't use it), and the damage will pale in comparison to your *real* damage output (Sneak Attack dice). Also, it means that once we get into the point where we're finding magical weapons, your offhand weapon may lag behind in its magic bonus.
You're honestly better off just taking the Moderately Armored feat for the Shield proficiency (and still getting +1 to Dex out of it) for +2 AC if you really want AC. Or just taking +2 Dex, which will give you +1 AC at this point anyways.

I'll go through my notes and double check what I've revealed and what I haven't. Like Hansel and Gretel, I've been parceling out small bits of story as we go and hoping I don't lose my way.
Also going to repeat my opinion that Jay is absolutely killing it with roleplaying Reed.
One thing to note for any of you CHA casters leveling up soon:
The Spell Sniper feat is a handy one. It gives you double range on your ranged spells and the ability to ignore partial cover. As an added bonus, it lets you take a cantrip from another class. This means you can pick up the Warlock's Eldritch Blast. You don't get all of the bells and whistles 'Locks can get (like adding Charisma to damage), but it does provide a few advantages over the comparable Firebolt:
1) It deals Force damage instead of Fire, meaning fewer things resist it
2) When it gets the bonuses to damage as you level, the bonuses come in the form of additional beams rather than straight increasing of damage. This means that you can split your beams among different targets, and additionally you aren't all-or-nothing on your attack roll (you make a separate roll for each beam), which will give you more consistent damage.

I'll probably take Medium Armor Master at Level 8 to get essentially +3 to my AC. It ups the max Dex bonus with Medium armor to 3 (from 2) and removes the stealth disadvantage. I should hopefully have enough for half plate by then, which would make my AC 20
I looked at the spellcaster class feats, but honestly outside of getting Eldritch blast through spell sniper or that plus a level 1 and another cantrip from Magic Initiate, there isn't a lot that helps my specific role.
