Megan whispers back to the girl while the teachers back is still turned and whispers "You may want to wipe that **** off your lips from kissing Mrs. Cregg's ass. Now mind your own business!"
Megan never thought she'd be this peeved, especially after such a rush of positave energy. She remembers the emotional response her magic has and tries to suppress it. If anything, she focuses on that snobby girl and giving her some bad luck, but that rush of an experience with Kyle really affected her magical abilities.
Still, might as well try right? Just think it and hope for the best!

Megan glares at Claire as she focuses her mind, a sinewy black tendril of magic snaking its way up the girl's body guided by her silent anger. She wants the girl to feel something she'd never felt before, something so foreign to her senses that it would completely shred any form of attention she was currently paying. Nothing permanently harmful, but enough to send an anonymous message. At that instant the tendril plunged into Claire's back.
The girl's reaction was immediate, her entire body tensing up as the curse worked its way through her. Her breathing became short and ragged, her body visibly shaken by whatever Megan had done to her. She couldn't run out of the room fast enough dropping a hall pass on the teacher's desk as she raced towards what you assume to be the bathroom.
"That feel better?"

Between thinking of Kyle and taking out the trash-of-a-classmate Megan has, she hasn't been able to properly focus on her teacher or her assignment. After thinking about her situation a little longer, Megan comes to the conclusion that dwelling on Kyle or that girl is a good way to let her powers run amok, something she wanted to try and avoid.
Megan decides to focus on the basics, like school and golf, and she'll deal with the other stuff as it presents itself. Don't stress over it, don't think about it, and it all becomes much easier, or so she hopes.
"Sound like a plan to you?"
Megan also realizes that the voice in her head is a pretty good resource for her development. She hasn't really proven that she's developing that greatly, and she may have even been slightly foolish with her powers. This head-voice is there for a reason, and Megan aims to put it to a stronger use.

"The thing to keep in mind is balance. You can't allow the stuff to consume you, but at the same time letting it waste away isn't healthy either. There are going to be times where you'll need or want a magical boost, and other times when you just can't help it. That's fine; letting it out can be good for you."
The voice has a point; the things that she's done (or is thinking about doing) have had irreversible effects on the current state of affairs, and to think she could just ignore those consequences would be downright stupid.
"While you do need to think down the road some, there will always be stuff you can't predict. It's a good idea to always have a little something up your sleeve should something go pear-shaped, but aside from that, just have fun! Follow your gut and the rest will fall into place. This is part of your life now, so just work it into your processes."

"Whew. I'm glad you came with the package deal, or I'd really have a few more screws loose by now. Thanks for the reassurance."
Megan tries to contemplate the proper balance between overuse and underuse of her powers. It's a tool, it's an aid and it shouldn't be forgotten, but seeing what she did to the girl was a sharp reminder that her power is going to cause a lot of temptation, for both her and those around her apparently.
"My magic is like my sidearm. I keep it holstered but I always have my hand at the ready in case I need it. Go with the flow from there, and everything should be good."
Megan suddenly realizes that anyone who is looking must think she looks strange, looking like she's hard at though when really she's having a conversation with a magical entity within her head. She attempts to play it off as concentration on the day's lesson plan, but she's honestly forgotten what class she's even in anymore.

megan's daydreaming for the most part goes unnoticed by most of the other students, and before long the bell rings. Time to get on to the next class; geometry. While it's not her favorite class, she does well enough. However it is at the other end of the building so she won't have that much time to dawdle.

"Thank god, shapes. I don't think I could take anything harder than that right now!"
Megan quickly packs up her stuff and rushes to class, trying to avoid Kyle, and the hateful girl from last period for that matter. Megan tries to remember the quickest, and stealthiest, way to her class, but with it on the others side of the building, she might just be out of luck if she wants to make it on time.
"Well, I guess I'm just going to have to cross the building the fast way, and hope I don't run into anyone familiar. I suppose this is where the balance comes in. Keep cool, and everything will be alright."
Golf pops into Megan's mind as she begins to navigate the halls. Calm, slow and steady, she thinks.

Megan goes for the quickest route and just prays for the best, and as far as she can tell she's dodged her problems as she takes her seat in class. She starts looking over the lesson in the book when the hair in her neck stands up on end. A quick glance around confirms her worst fear.
How coudl she have forgotten Kyle was in her math class?
Signing to herself, Megan tries finding her center, concentrate on golf...but even that fails. Every time she tried to picture a blank course, the boy was right by her side, waiting for her.
The girl's heart raced. Her palms were getting sweaty. Fortunately for all involved, Megan felt she could keep her emotions in check for the duration of the class, and it didn't seem like Kyle was paying any special attention to her. Still...this situation could explode if she wasn't careful.

Megan does her best to focus on the book in front of her. Focus on the class, the information, rather than the boy, the strange powers, her "encounter" in the halls of the school...
*sigh*
It was as if Hoover Dam were in her head, and the river of thoughts was overrunning the massive structure. Still, she maintained one goal, more like a rule, to never look his direction. Other words and phrases, such as "casual" and "act natural", floated their way down the stream, but didn't seem to catch on before they disappeared into sub-memory.
Megan was tense, almost waiting, possibly for the so called "first move" from Kyle to kick-start this incredibly awkward moment.
Plainly or not, Megan didn't take chances, so she stuck to the basics and tried to tunnel vision her way through the period.

As Megan buries her nose in her textbook, she slowly felt the anxiety start to pass. Kyle wasn't going to make any kind of move in here; and although he definitely noticed her precense, he wasn't drawing attention to that fact.
Not that it would really do her any good.
"I'm sure you're aware, but there's a hard limit on how long you can keep feelings like that bottled up before they start to turn on you. Remember when I said there will be times you won't be able to help your magic running?" Megan swallows a gulp, she's not so stupid as to not see where this is going.
"Basically you have two choices. One, wait for your feelings to overflow and hope the backlash doesn't blow up something, or someone, important. Two, take the initiative and put your pent-up passion in its place. Doesn't have to be here or now, but I'd recommend something before he leaves.
And in the future, the less magic you have active, the less charged any side effects will be. Means that you won't go crazy every time you two hold hands if you're not in magical girl mode." It's a touch too late for that information but it's good to have. Regardless, Megan's got no other choice than to take this matter into her own hands.
Half of her is begging class to end so she can relive that ecstasy-filled moment. The other wants this to crawl, give her as much time as possible to make things subtle.
Some of her is about to become very dissapointed.
