Flung from the Blind Eternities, Tamiyo found herself thrown into a densely covered jungle. She was in an awkward position of being unsure of her surroundings - this is the plane that she had intended to visit, but from the looks of it, she wasn't anywhere near settled territory. No sooner than she arrived, she was onset by a panther. Taking a brief moment to collect herself, she sent a crippling chill through the creature and took off into the forest. With the moon to light her way, she set off for her intended location. The information she had gathered on Ravnica indicated that the world was littered with small shamanic villages living almost completely independently of one another. There were no reports of war between the villages, but from what intel she had gained, villages were dying out with no survivors, and despite the cultural and economic isolation of each village, they all seemed to worship the same two gods: Korial, the Visage of Enlightenment and Arkharon, the Visage of Death.
This was definitely something worth further investigation - why would a plane with this level of technology have exactly two gods to worship? Was there no need to seek guidance or support for any other aspect of life? Was some sinister force at work, or was there something unique to the denizens of this plane?
Deathspeaker Mafia is a Mini game designed for 12 players. It was reviewed (and fixed) by AsianInvasion, Prophylaxis, and Iso.
Signups for this game will be open for a minimum of 72 hours, but will remain open until filled if it does not fill within 72 hours. If more than 12 players sign up within 72 hours, a modified RobRoy system will be used to determine participants (shamelessly stolen from zindabad):
Players in 0 games get an auto-in.
Players in 1 game get a weighting of 2.
Players in 2 games get a weighting of 1
Players in 3 games have a weighting of 0. These players can sign up to play, but won't get in unless less than 21 players with a non-zero weighting are signed up. These players can sign up to replace, if they wish.
Once all players have been assigned a weighting, I will use random.org to select the player list for this game.
Note: Since more than 72 hours have passed, the weighing system will not apply, and signups will close when they are filled.
Key Game Notes:
Each player begins the game as vanilla, and unlocks an ability when he or she dies.
This game is limited-reveal. When a player dies, their name, alignment, and job/role in the village will be revealed, but not their ability.
Flavor game at your own risk.
I will not be accepting hydras for this game.
Please /in or /replace if interested, along with the number of current games you're in! If you're interested in spectating, please select /replace, and I will reach out to the replacement list at the beginning of Night 1 to see who wants to switch to a spectator.

KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

Hi Az.
Pristaxcontrombmodruu!
Pristaxcontrombmodruu!
About 1000x times less lurky, IMO. Least lurky games around anywhere, if you ask me.
If I understood correctly, all players are vanilla/goon at the beginning, but when they die, they get an ability?
As in: "When you die, you can choose to kill someone with you" and not in "You become vigilante when player X dies", right?
(If you can't/don't want to answer, just say so.)
I'll /in.
