Come one! Come all! To the New England Regional Dungeons and Dragons Championships! Bring your dice to Cherrywood Manor this Sunday!
Sponsored by the New England Historical Society. Your safety is not guaranteed. Death will probably happen.
Winner receives deed to Cherrywood Manor and accompanying Gentleman's Club, Longwood Manor, paid in full by Jesus.
Must be 18 to participate. Some exceptions apply. No Canadians, eh.
"Oh. My. God." gasped Peter at the flyer as he retrieved the daily mail.
"LOIS! LOIS!"
"What is it, Peter?!"
"Look at this!"
"Oh my. Cherrywood?! Peter I haven't be– Peter? Where did you go?"
As Lois looks around befuddled as to where her husband had disappeared to, she looks longingly at the flyer. It has been years since Peter managed to swindle away the estate that Aunt Marguerite had intended for her to inherit. Deep down it has always been a sore spot between her and Peter – she loves him dearly, but Cherrywood, for all its faults and its ability to change people, was important to her. Some of her fondest memories as a child, as a teenager, and even a young woman, happened at Cherrywood. She relished the thought of being able to go back one last time.
And that's when it hit her.
Welcome to the sign ups for Family Guy Mafia, a twelve player mini game reviewed by ganderin_dan and Iso. This is an original flavour game set within the Family Guy Canon and modified, as needed, for storytelling purposes. Flavour will be light and (hopefully) funny.
Moderator: iRebel Setup: Closed; name and alignment reveal on death. Game Start: Day 1
Sign ups will last 72 hours; if the game fills before 72 hours elapse, I will begin early. If there are any open positions after the initial 72 hour period, signups will last until those positions are filled. To join, please indicate whether you want to /in, /replace, or /spectate, the number of games you are currently alive in (if /in or /replace), as well as answer the following questions:
I don't have any hard numbers on this, but I'm targeted more often than a black guy driving a beat-up sedan with a broken tail-light and no license plate, and Cy's well aware of that.
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.
