KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

I'm absolutely not caught up and there's no way I'm going to be able to keep up with this game.
That said, I've read Tare's tinfoil theories and don't like how he conveniently cherrypicked my meta to ignore my last two completed games (Overwatch & Jurassic Park Adventure) where I was town and didn't do a damn thing all game!
On those grounds, Tare should probably be lynched.

On that note, I'm sorry, guys. I wanted to make a big splash with my last game on this site for an extended period of time, but I'm in a big transition in my life and way past major burnout. I just don't have the time for this right now.

Pretty happy that we seem to be on course to lynch either of those two. Tare's wagons just seem like panicky efforts at deflection. Still prefer to knock off Hunt on the off-chance he's just being weird or dense, but yeah, those are both promising avenues of inquiry.

I'm Silvercrys3467. I'm the towniest town to ever town in the whole of towndom. Hilarious because he is completely the anti-me.
My ability is unlimited Neighborizor (again), but this time the chats only last for a day. The name of the ability is lead by talking. My burnout is even better proof, but I'd really like to avoid having to claim it if at all possible.
'cause a neighborizer is "proof" of your alignment, amirite
About as much as "I'm so busy" is proof of anything.
Alright fine, I can burnout (called white knight) and give a player a new ability. The ability is called Not Tonight, and they can target a player, and that player won't die that night. One shot.
I'm saying you (probably) meant GJ or Huntz (based on the signature comment, either one makes some sense), but I'm not sure if you were honest about it, that I feel it could be a false claim.
I envision a world where scum hunt has the new ability thing but not the doc thing.
Why is giving a new ability more likely to be town, and why are you so quick to believe he had those abilities? Didn't you have a scum read before, iirc?

Hello hello hello, I am here to revolutionize your revolution ! And with me I bring a glorious 48h extension too. I'll catchup later today, looking forward to play with you all ~
So I kinda don't want to lynch Tare or Hunt, they both have provable roles that are much more likely to be town than scum.
Okay. This is what bugged me since I was leaning GJ on that from when he mentioned the signature thing. The 90% part occurred to me, but I dismissed it. I also maintain that there was no reason for him not to just claim Huntzilla outright.
You've been very unsure... is your suggestion just to vote no lynch?

I'm not sure I get what you're saying. If Hunt's burnout is that he gives another player the ability to protect another player, then he has to be confirmed by another player, and if that ability is confirmed by another player, then I really doubt hunt is scum. (Cause it's super risky for scum hunt to have a buddy lie about the ability and then get boned if hunt flipped without that ability. And yes, I think hunt is behaviorally scummy, but mechanically he seems more likely to be town.

No, we most definitely need a lynch, I just don't think that lynching someone that can be sorted out by night actions is a good idea.
...and what will all you role analysis people do when they inevitably claim to have been roleblocked, huh?
Full steam ahead, ignore the claims, trust the behavior. Stand by your reads like men. Or women. Or really stubborn effeminate boys. Just stick to your reads.

We can cross those bridges when we come to them. I'm not saying that roles trump behavior, but I do know that not every scummy person flips scum, and I see no reason to ignore perfectly good role clearing potential.

interesting
i think tare claimed a role that isnt provable without someone else outing themselves
and i dont think neighborizer or gifter are particularly townie roles.
they both kind of seem like claims meant to keep them alive for some amount of time and/or give benefit of some kind if scum.
basically neither claim moved the needle for me.
why did they for you?

We're not talking about a mason, cop, or actual doctor here. We're talking about the town's scummitude member reaching for a claim that will get him through this day and throwing out a hail mary one shot ability that is neither likely to be proven OR strongly alignment indicative. In the unlikely eventuality that he doesn't say "sorry dudes, roleblock, lol", and does confirm his ability, I'd still kill him dead without batting an eye. He's still scum, with or without it.
We are way, way past the meta time period where putting substantial weight on mod-gaming assumptions is a good idea.
Why are you helping Tar try to split the town vote elsewhere again? You pointed out how gross Hunt's posts were. Do a better job of pretending to be town, dammit.

How is it not clear that Hunt's role is actually more verifiable than a regular doctor? He can give a doctor shot away! Someone else has to verify this. What world does that not tell you that hunt is a mislynch?
Hunt, because it would be bad for us to go long without confirming your ability, I think you should burnout tonight and then be verified tomorrow, and then Tare could burnout tomorrow night and we have the potential to save 2 mislynches, and the person who gets hunt's shot can WIFOM about using it on hunt so that the scum can't shoot him unless they were the ones that received the doc shot anyway.
Tom, you don't actually believe I'm scum, stop wasting time.
I'm not sure the roleclaim saves him. There was a scum inventor in one game, IIRC (Nacho?) that could give beneficial roles away to whomever they wanted.

When Huntz flips scum after Bur gets here then we lynch shadow.
I can see it now "wow, Hunt flipped tow, let's lynch shadow cause clearly he just wanted to get town cred for hunt". Maybe not you, but seriously, hunt is a mislynch, how do you not see that?

Giving someone a doc shot doesn't make him town.
There's precident for scum giving people shots of things. If it was a cop shot then, no that's almost 100% a town ability. Giving a 1shot doc just means the scum risk missing a shot, which is a risk. As scum, that's a good pro-town claim.

obvious now, but i took it too literally.
Why did the Hunt wagon lose so much steam?
So, towncircle is [Killjoy, tomsloger, (Cyan?), kpaca, Taredas]
but im not seeing much in the way of organic solving
also dont like how he keeps calling me an easy mislynch. that hasnt been true in awhile. but he might not have a way of knowing that.
You don't think he believes that?
