KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

You watch those nature documentaries on the cable?
You see the one about lions?
You got this lion. He’s the king of the jungle, huge mane out to here. He’s laying under a tree, in the middle of Africa. He’s so big, it’s so hot. He doesn’t want to move.
Now the little lions come, they start messing with him. Biting his tail, biting his ears. He doesn’t do anything. The lioness, she starts messing with him. Coming over, making trouble. Still nothing.
Now the other animals, they notice this. They start to move in. The jackals; hyenas. They’re barking at him, laughing at him. They nip his toes, and eat the food that’s in his domain. They do this, then they get closer and closer, bolder and bolder. Til one day, that lion gets up and tears the ***** out of everybody. Runs like the wind, eats everything in his path. Cause every once in a while, the lion has to show the jackals, who he is.

What do you make of Anak's chainsaw defense of you by snap voting me whilst throwing a lava axe my way?
im not really buying your reasoning there myself, and i think youre town. so it seems fine.
I mean he voted me prior to my even giving reasons.
And I stand by your post being knowingly anti town.
yes yes
openly antitown
is that a scumtell for anyone?
much less me
It can be, but more than a scum tell, when I read through, I saw that and thought "What if Tom is scum that actually wanted to role fish?"
So I voted you and then you got wagoned and I thought I had something and now I don't even think I did anymore.
no if i was role hunting id just look for how people responded to tare's claim to find possible burnout abilities and try to figure out who's more worried than usual (hint: not killjoy to both)
that second one is really easy when you know who's not scum
Iso needs to post more. (For that matter, so does Cyan, but I have more of a townie read there.) Anak is not there yet for me either.
FoS: Anak, Iso
D_V is probably not going to leave my PoE here unless they do something intensely townie. I did react badly earlier, and I'm sorry about that. But mrgl.
MFoS: D_V
Azrael is probably good enough to play the line, and has been leaning far enough into the scum side to fall over.
@Osie: Do you dislike Tom's reaction to his wagon? It's defiant rather than dismissive.
Really? I felt it seemed almost like resigned scum, ready to take one for the team potentially to hide buddies. And I don't agree with Taredas on at least one point; I could totally see two or more good scum players bussing a third and/or each other despite lack of suspicion. It pushes suspicion away from them if one gets killed, and if it's ignored and someone else is lynched, no harm, no foul.
It's definitely between Tom, Azrael, and D_V for me at this point for a day 1 lynch.
Resigned scum would claim. Not claiming means that he can bluff a pr and still potentially draw a night kill, or actually is a power role and didn't have to reveal that.

Yeah, I didn't think about that with hunt.
im not really buying your reasoning there myself, and i think youre town. so it seems fine.
What keeps fruit fresh and rhymes fresher?
I'll post more later. Tom answer that please.
Or don't.
Or give a good speech or something.

if real, slightly more likely town than scum
so basically, no
And I stand by your post being knowingly anti town.
Lean town. Also I need to think.
"There are many reasons we invent, of which survival is not the least."
I'm starting to lean scum.

openly antitown

much less me
Yes he was being antitown. Blatantly so. That's null. It's not of an attitude than a mindset.
Tom's reaction to the wagon on him seems like it has a "Seriously?" vibe to it. Not like a cftrw vibe, like if expect from scum.
So I voted you and then you got wagoned and I thought I had something and now I don't even think I did anymore.
Those of you who wish to have an deadline extension, please reply to me via PM. If enough people want to have an deadline extension, I'll grant one.

Also, isn't this a scum claim?
Unvote, Vote Tom
@Killjoy, @Shadow: What are you doing? There's not remotely a strong enough townie tone to discount Tom.
youve explained so many reads
Harrumph.
I want to see more from Huntz before we condemn him.

The case on DV intrigues me. And Az.
This post makes me want to vomit.
I definitely don't want to vote Tom after this, or after Tom's reaction to this wagon.
tomsloger (3) - Taredas, kpaca, osieorb18
Huntzilla (3) - tomsloger, shadowlancerx, Azrael
D_V (1) - Iso
Azrael (1) - D_V
shadowlancerx (1) - Anaklusmos
Not Voting (3): Huntzilla, Killjoy, Cyan
With 12 alive, it's 7 to lynch. Deadline is at Thursday 23rd of March, 9:59PM GMT.
Unvote, Vote: Azrael
lets do that
I feel like his aggressive defense of osie came from a place of 'scum defending town that they think will probably get themselves lynched anyway'.
Plus I don't feel like he's actually doing much, despite posting significantly.
I am also not currently sold on Hunt being scum.
