DISCLAIMER: All the characters in this flavour are fictitious representations of people at MTGS, not meant to insult any of the people involved.
It was a dark and stormy night in the suburbs of London. The rain had not ceased in several days and the wind kept on howling. In the darkness of the streets, a mysterious, dark figure made it's way towards a plain-looking brown wooden door at the end of the long street. Trying to avoid getting too wet, the figure ran towards the door, trying to take cover at every possible chance. After reaching the door, the figure pulled out an old-looking small key and with a swift movement pushed the key into the lock, bringing about a small "click" and soon after disappearing into the depths of the house.
The figure moved up the stairs at a remarkable speed and nary a sound. Soon, the figure reached another door and just like the first one, opened this one too without a hassle. The figure proceeded inside, closing the door behind them silently. After closing the door, the figure swithced on the light with a careful motion.
"Man, why does it always have to rain here?" sighed Ecophagy.
Ecophagy took of all his clothes heavy from the rain and proceeded towards kitchen. Surely, a cup of tea would brighten his mood after this horrendous day. Taking out his kettle and filling it with water, Eco turned on his gas stove and started heating the water. Since it'd take a while before the water would start boiling, Eco pulled out his trusty phone and opened the internet, wandering what has transpired during the time he had been away from MTGS. He still recalled the fight he had had few days ago with Iso and Azrael, about the whole Mafia subforum. Ecophagy had wished Zionite had been there for him, but no avail.
After seeing no new messages at MTGS and hearing the whistling of his kettle, Eco turned off the gas and pulled out a pristine porcelain tea cup and poured some hot and steaming water in it, only followed by a bag of good ol' Earl Grey. This if anything was guaranteed to take away his stress and would allow him to relax. Taking a sip from the tea, Ecophage felt how to hot and steaming goodness poured into his mouth, followed by euphoric feeling and the screams of joy from his taste buds.
Taking another sip from this tea, Ecophagy steeled himself to not give in and to bring Iso and Azrael to their senses. "I can do this!" Ecophagy thought to himself and placed the tea cup on his kitchen counter. Almost immediately after Ecophagy had let go of the tea cup, he felt all strength escaping from his legs and his vision going blurry, causing him to collapse on the floor.
"What's happening to me? Why do I suddenly feel this feeble?" thought Ecophagy out loud. To his surpise, a voice from the shadows answered him:
"Since you tea was poisoned. That's what you get for disagreeing with me and Iso" said a voice way too familiar to Ecophagy.
"Azrael...?"
"Not only him, but me too" said another voice, that Eco recognized as Iso's voice.
"Since you are not recognizing the greatness of out plan, we decided to vote you out. But, do not worry. We have brought in someone who shares out ideals..."
"Indeed." said a third voice. This one was less familiar to Ecophagy, but luckily for him, he was soon told the identity of this third person.
"We have decided to bring in Sir Chris, as he's a talented mafia player, who won't get caught as mafia in less than 100 posts of a game, unlike certain someone" spoke Azreal.
"You... can't... do... this" said Ecophagy, who realised he was growing weaker every second.
"I think we've already done so", said Iso and continued: "I'd love to chat for longer, but I'm afraid we have work to do and I doubt you have long to live neither"
"No. This can't..." muttered Ecophagy, who then realised that the voice was no longer coming out of his mouth.
"Someone stop them. Anyone, please" though Ecophagy and then added: "And avenge me too, while you are at it..."
At the next day, a public announcement was found at MTGS Mafia subforum: "Ecophagy has resigned from his position at Mafia Council and Sir Chris has replaced him".
Contrary to the expectations of Azrael and Iso, who had not expected people to react to this by anyway, regular users of MTGS were shocked by these news. How could Ecophagy abandon us, leaving us with Azreal and Iso? ... and if Ecophagy is gone, maybe this would be a great chance to usurp the Mafia Council...?
Many different thought were in people's heads, but one thing was common: It was time for the revolution!
Welcome to the Revolution Mafia. This is a Mini game designed for 12 players.
This game contains no game-altering rules, neutrals or bastardness.
This game will contain tons of flavour, aggressive deadline and the return of "burnout" mechanic.
Burnout: Once this ability has been used, you will lose all your other abilities. You can activate this ability only once.
Welcome to the game, Prophylaxis! Your role is the following:
Ecophagy (Town)
"Town did not deserve this guy."
You are everyone's favourite British Mafia Council guy! Mafia Council can't properly function without your rationality and down-to-earthness. MTGS Mafia subforum will mourn your passing and (hopefully) will vow to avenge you. You implore for everyone to take on the scum and get rid of them, for the sake of MTGS Mafia subforum! ... if only you weren't dead...
You have the following abilities:
Two votes to lynch (passive): If at any point you have exactly two votes on you, you'll die regardless of anything. Secret Tea Stash (burnout, day): At any point in game, you may PM the mod that you'd like to activate this ability. Mod will make you and every other person in spectator chat a cup of tea.
You win when there is no more Mafia Council.
#i: I am the mod and reserve the rights to change these rules.
#0: Have fun, be respectful towards the other players and follow the normal forum rules.
#1: DO NOT talk about this game outside of this thread/Role PM/QTs that I have given to you. This is a modkillable offence.
#2: DO NOT quote any private message (Role PM or QT message). Please paraphrase instead. This is a modkillable offence.

#5: DO NOT use invisible text, cryptoclaims etc. This is a modkillable offence.
#6: DO NOT thank posts.
#7: By confirming that you have received your Role PM you also confirm that you've read it. Not reading your Role PM is an reportable offence.
#8: Please post at least once per 48 hours. If you have not posted in 48 hours, you will be prodded. Failing to respond to the prod within 48 hours will lead to your replacement. If you know you won't be able to post for a while, please let the mods know beforehand.
#9: BOLD your votes and place them on separate line. Unbolded votes will not be counted just like votes in the middle of a huge wall of text. Unvoting is preferred but not a necessity.
#10: Once lynch threshold is reached, votes are considered locked in. The votes and unvotes made after that will not be counted.
#11: If deadline is reached and no player has reached lynch threshold, the day ends with no lynch.

KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

For the record, I'm totally in favor of a flavor claim, I just expect that scum will have false claims, or the names will be no indication of actual alignment.

I think my flavor claim would be a scumclaim and voting you, despite (quite possibly) us both being town.

I don't know how useful flavor claims are likely to be if we're based off of mafia regulars; I mean, most of these players have played both town and scum and tells one way or the other don't necessarily help. Well, you might be able to get something from the style of posting, but even then, flavor claims are relatively meaningless except to the people whose flavor one is claiming (role or user). I'm not very good at meta reads, though. So with or without flavor claims, I'll probably just keep my head up until scum manages to remove it in some way or other.
Why are people not voting this person. I do not understand.
Maybe you should look in a mirror... Also because not everyone's shown up. We'll have to see what we can find out from that. But okay. I'll keep with my initial thoughts so far... Unvote Vote Killjoy.
Maybe it could give the actual people who are filling those town roles information? I mean, if someone starts pocketing like nobody's business, then maybe it's supposed to be shadow role, but that could be scum!shadow or town!shadow. And if this game includes town!shadow as a role, and, say, iso has that role, then iso can probably intuit that the other person is scum. I like that you seem to have thought about your vote though, even if it's wrong.

I'm still salty that I ended up losing Mind screw to your case that consisted of "it's Hunt, lynch please."
I think it's a useless pit to flavor claim. Bur is a wily mod who planned for us to sink time in that endeavor. I'm not convinced it would help us at all.

You've never seen my scumgame, not that your post is helpful to town, anyways. What's your argument that I'm scum, sice you were so sure, so fast? Or is this just scum!DV trying for a mislynch? And it's not my fault that my towngame looks a lot like a scumgame to you. Ok, maybe it is my fault.

Is that the only reason? I explained earlier that flavor claims are relatively meaningless because of how the roles work. D_V has been his normal scummy self. I'm more sure on him than anyone else at the moment. Vote D_V
@Osie: Are you Iso? Also did you read the flavor of the OP?
Also, why does Tom's first post read like town and why would that have anything to do with you unvoting?

Yeah, I'd like to pursue the flavor claim, on the off-chance Bur had a brain aneurysm while designing this one. I'm Proph. My flavor consists of repetitive mentions of how much I hate end-gaming.
Pretty sure I'm going to need to figure out how to make lock 'em up GIFs shortly.
Serious vote Taredas. Die, you filthy, transparent scum. Have a nice day!
I'm seppel, my flavor is about how much I just don't care about this revolution, but I joined because it means I get the chance to lynch my brother, Iso

It's Day 1. Deadline has been set to Thursday 23rd of March, 9:59PM GMT. (I gave you bit extra time for Day 1, so that day end will happen when I'm around.)
With 12 alive, it takes 7 to lynch.
(And I won't be using Eco's fancy vote counter in this game, but will do them all manually, so no need to worry about that.)
I'm Iso, who the **** are you?

Ehh... Just messing with Iso.
vote Anak
EBWOP: I'm completely angelically innocent. Or at least that's what my mother tells me.
I've played IRL some, and one game of Avalon here in which Shadow and I tunneled the heck out of each other, as mentioned in the sign-up thread.
Damn it.
**** it.
Unvote, vote Osie
Orgy can wait.
Voting for Anak
is like an orgy to you?
Gotta Vote Killjoy.
Is D_V scum again,
Your thoughts about the matter?
Is Iso Iso?
But I'm serious this time.
We are voting Iso.
No, that's Gary Oldman!
Unvote Vote D_V.
Ask again later
Don't know.
Who's shadow again?
I think my flavor claim would be a scumclaim and voting you, despite (quite possibly) us both being town.
Not in favor, I suspect that would work out about as well as the D1 massclaim back in the 2015 Mafia Invitational.
Then... why are you in favor of a flavor claim?

Because we hadn't gotten to the thread yet?

It is too late for the pebbles to vote."
Is that what the kids are calling it nowadays? Though I think you're just throwing dirt and hoping to get people to hit townies with you.
Serious RVS votes? Sorry, but it sounds like D_V's scum again.

This reads as town. I want to see more before I figure out exactly how to proceed. Unvote
Interesting. Why D_V specifically? Also, don't you already talk about yourself a lot? Though you use a different emoji.
I'll be away for most of Friday. I might pop in for a little bit in the middle of the day, work allowing.
Also scum is flailing like mad?
Lez go with the lynch.
Actual Iso tomorrow who also rolled scum clearly.
@ Tom that's funny cause my flavor is 100% different. Well 90% different

With 12 alive, it's 7 to lynch.

Nah, either D_V is pulling the wool over your eyes, or you're just hopping on your scumbuddy's wagon.
This makes me happy.

Pretty sure I'm going to need to figure out how to make lock 'em up GIFs shortly.
Serious vote Taredas. Die, you filthy, transparent scum. Have a nice day!
That you, Huntzilla?
I'm just having fun with the flavor.
Why are you feeling pressure to decide on who's scum already? Your D_V vote feels like a desperate attempt to look like you're doing something.
