actually, on review this isn't the time to fight that fight. pick your battles, meg.

For the record, I'm not doing the above for any reason other than that I was told to. I'd be more stubborn about this if we weren't so close to a lynch. However, also for the record, I'm not confident in this one and would much prefer Anak.
@tammy: bongo = cythare. I'm a bit loose with nicknames in general but I know this guy pretty well. it used to be cybongo but I dropped the "cy" over time. Just like I've dropped the "h" in Proph so that he is now "prop."
It's hard not to get incredibly annoyed when you wake up to see someone lynched when there clearly wasn't a strong case. I've been saying this for ages. I mean sure, he/she played a poor game but the mislynch is the fault of a bunch of people who completely overlooked that the defeatism wasn't alignment indicative and weren't even willing to present an actual case, despite my repeated protestations. Manders in particular has been a huge obstacle to actual, real behavioral analysis, what with imploring people to vote Bur over and over without even being able to make a logical argument as to why. It's even more frustrating because I think she's more than likely town.
See bolded! This was after Bur got hammered. I pointed this out on post 75 in spec chat and then clarified in 78. I even explicitly linked the two in 89!
Also, while I'm in spec chat, there's a reason I've largely stopped drinking. That sort of nonsense is a bit embarrassing.
---
I have been working on a larger post, the tl;dr of which is "after comparing notes with Cythare, there are probably 2+ scum in the following group: Anak, Axelrod, Cyan, Cythare, Shadow, TCM, Wildfire"
I haven't gotten further than that; next step is to narrow that list down (I realize it's not very helpful as it is more than half the playerlist). But I won't be able to post again until this evening and the Day might be over by then!
I was laid up all yesterday with what I will call two steps short of a migraine, so I didn't get to finish. I'll work on it tonight and at least PM it to bongo if I can't post it.
and i haven't even voted today, cool. I'm channeling my Stargate self in more ways than one.

Also (apologies for quadpost) for posterity these are some IsoPosts that might be worth looking at as we go forward. Don't forget to reread the dead, guys! Spec chat too.
I put it out there more than once that if anyone knew a reason why the scum might have missed a NK other than DV's doc protect they really ought to speak up about it, and GJ said precisely nothing, so, that doesn't look great.
GJ: why didn't you say something/anything?
You mean, why didn't drop any hints that there might be a protective role? Shrugs.
Yeah, see, that's just not a great answer. You know people are making some assumptions about what happened during the night and you've got information that some of those assumptions could be wrong, but you're sitting there letting people continue to follow those assumptions. And the thing of it is, the only people potentially getting misled here are the Town. The scum would already know if they tried to kill someone not on DV's protect list and failed so they would already know that there's another "protective" or at least, something that stopped their kill - which could still be a lot of things, you know - and just saying I'm aware of a possible way the scum might have missed a kill that didn't involve a DV doc protect, doesn't actually tip that much. Especially given you can always make yourself bulletproof if you're worried about eating a bullet for the claim. Apparently you don't even have to choose, you are either being bulletproof yourself, or you and your target are both being bulletproof, so, frankly, trying to draw a NK actually seems like a fine idea, doesn't it?

He claimed to have targeted you last Night, did he not?
He's already (as good as) claimed Scum, so why are you bothering?
Yeah, the BP-withholding is just another problem here. Now that Megiddo is empowering, we can move forward unless we want to wait for DoTArchon to catch up? It might be a while.

He did claim he targeted me, which, for all I know could be true, but if so, I'm agreeing seems to have been a sub-optimal choice. I'm "bothering" because I prefer to work out stuff myself rather than just sheep.

One question before we drop the hammer, is there anyone who needs a non-insignificant empowerment boost? I don't think I should save up for my ultimate, and I have 4 points I can send off overnight.

I could use 5. I think everyone else with a good ability is already empowered.
So I'd say pick someone who you've gotten a town read on other than Megiddo (who has no abilities) who you think could use a boost and send it that way if you want to without disclosing now. I'd be interested, but I know there are also others like Manders.
I've said I could use 2 more. Otherwise what I can do with what I currently have just isn't worth it.

The last of the cargo from Circe had left the hold, and was stowed in the hangar of the Sector Six annex facility. The passengers, and the bodies of those who had been killed, had been settled into a tightly cordoned off area of the lab. Outside of that perimeter, stretched warren of lightless corridors and rooms, and the largely inactive guts and machinery of the station, now replaced by smaller, less powerful units more adapted to the more modest size of the current team.
The wizened old warden, a parolee, had advised them not to venture beyond the cordon. Ever. And then, with a surprising alacrity belying his age, had hurriedly left the facility behind. No amount of persuasion or questioning could lead him to return or to fully explain, other than to say that it was dangerous, and that they might not care for what they find there. That there was good reason that no one talked about this facility any longer, good reason it had been abandoned, and good reason that it was thoroughly off the books. From time to time, rhythmic pounding sounds would emanate from beyond the cordoned area, reverbrating down the innumerable metal pipes that formed the structure's bones. It was reason enough to keep everyone inside.
Circe lingered, for a time, repairing its battle damage. But in due course, the former XO was satisfied that all that could be done short of a stint in space dock had been done. She seemed none too disappointed at the prospect of leaving behind her cohort of murderous passengers.
Professor Laxis, the second-ranking survivor of the science team, requested a meeting with her on the boarding ramp prior to departure.
"Look. I know this isn't what you signed up for. But we're out on our own here. Until we reactivate the communications array, which is going to require venturing beyond the security cordon, we have no way of contacting any other cell, no transport, no way of delivering our findings. The whole mission is for nothing, if we can't get this research out to the people who need it."
The XO screwed up her face in a grimace. "Captain Ulysses was a true believer in what you're doing, and he was a good Captain. And I know he thought he was doing the right thing. And a lot of us didn't mind going along with him. But the situation's changed. We did not sign up for a shooting war, government agents infiltrating your team, and the E.A.N. sending missiles up our frakking ass. There is no way - no way - that I am sticking around for that."
"All of us are taking risks, Captain. That's the nature of the business we're in. If you didn't want to take those risks, you should never have signed onto Captain Ulysses's ship. He was not a man to hide things from his crew, and I can't believe you didn't understand what you're in for. And now, the man's body is barely cold, and you're already turning your back on what he gave his life to accomplish."
"Don't lecture me on what Captain Ulysses would have wanted or done! I knew him a hell of a lot better than any of you people ever did. And the number one thing for the Captain, was making sure his crew was taken care of. That's what he would have wanted. And I will honor those wishes. And you can rot in hell with the rest of your lost cause rebellion if you can't understand the responsibility I hold for the lives of this crew. I will not be responsible for them being killed off with the rest of you, when this operation comes apart. It's over. And I'm going to save what I can."
"You mean save yourself. And let the rest of the galaxy burn. But what kind of assurance do we have that you're not going to sell us out to the Earth Authority, first chance you get? Why should we take the chance, of letting you go? So, if it's yourself you're looking out for, I'm authorized to extend your contrac-"
"Not frakking interested. Frak you, your credits, and frak your self-righteous rebellion. I'm not going down with you, or any of your-"
The rest of the conversation was put on hold indefinitely by the explosion of Circe, killing all hands, and Professor Laxis, with the sole exception of a single crewmember, who outraced the rest to the ship's single functioning escape pod as the ship's systems chimed out the last-minute warning of an imminent reactor failure.

Agent Xiulan Chan was knocked from his feet, as the explosion shattered the hangar deck, making the doors inoperative, sending cracks, craters, and fissures throughout the adjoining structure. Not his hand on the trigger, but he could appreciate the handiwork, nonetheless.
Since the first caveman had roasted a hunk of meat over a flame, mankind had always understood that there was something purifying, almost holy, in the process of destruction.
Xiulan had undergone more than his fair share of that refining process. The tearing down of his weakness, his fears, his inhibitions, in the furnace of close combat. He and his brothers and sisters had bled, suffered, and died - and even for those who came home again, a part of them was forever gone. Obliterated. The dross had melted, until only the iron core of his essential self had survived. And that iron core had gone on to proudly serve his country in a new and even more demanding fashion, rooting out the insidious, rotten dissidents who in their arrogance and pride sought to shatter the unity and strength of humanity into a thousand bickering, squabbling, self-interested and petty fiefdoms. He had put his life on the line more times than he could count to oppose that dystopian future, and there was no question in his mind of ever shrinking from whatever that duty required of him.
So when the rebels came for him, the explosives expert, he didn't flinch. Not for an instant. A flick of a button, and a final bathing in flame. It was only destiny.

Jillian Courtright sat bolt upright in her bed. It was unmistakable. Someone had tripped the motion sensor in the corridor outside her room.
There wasn't much in the way of places to hide. It was a small, barracks-style dormitory, with an alcove bed, and a couple of lockers. Not even a bathroom. Not much larger than a few closets, thrown together.
She didn't stop to get dressed, but rolled out from beneath the covers in little more than a shirt, grabbed her handheld comp, and bolted to the door. She peered through the crack for just an instant, barely long enough to see that it was dark, still and empty, then disappeared down the corridor like a wraith.
Peeking beyond a bend, she could barely see the slight shading of the dark that represented her slightly ajar door. A bulky, inhuman form was briefly silhouetted, as the light to her room came on. Power armor. Only one person in the expedition had had access to it, and he was now dead. Evidently, he'd shared that access with others. Which was unfortunate, since power armor came equipped with integrated bio-sensors.
Hiding was no longer an option. She could only run. And her pursuer was in position to cut off any turn back towards the rest of the group. The only way forwards, was past the security cordons, to the abandoned areas.
She made it to the hatch which blocked access out of the secured zone, and began to spin the locking mechanism frantically. From behind her, she could begin to hear the thump-thump-thump of the power-armor, its hydraulics propelling it down the corridor rapidly. The door swung open as the figure swung around the final corner, a crimson targeting laser slicing through the dark, seeking hungrily. She rolled aside and through the door, then kicked it shut again, and kept moving.
After six minutes of sprinting down the corridors aimlessly, she stopped, panting, and pressed her ear to the floor. It was musty, grimy, and cold. And it was silent, save for her own labored breathing, and the faintest hum of distant machinery. No sign of pursuit.
Using only the faint light of her handheld, she began to slowly, stealthily retrace her path. Step by step, on the balls of her feet. There, ahead. She pressed her ear to the door. Then, tried to work the handle release. No luck. It was secured. She'd have to find another way.
She turned around, then screamed as a pair of black shadows only inches from her face embraced her. Her scream ended abruptly in a painful gurgling, and her body left behind a bloody streak on the floor of the compound as it was dragged away. On the other side of the door, the power-armored figure turned away in satisfaction, another good night's work completed.

the reason I say this is that if you look at who TCM has pushed his interactions with WF match up more with his Iso interactions than those of, say, Bur.
Also Iso interactions point and WF, and overlap is a good sign.
