It can happen. In the last Azrael game I played, there was one set scum and one set SK, and the other like 16 roles were *completely* randomized between the remaining three scum and the town.
WF, you decided to trust your gut and shoot the most widely accepted as Town player in the game. For this, you will be lynched. IF you are town, learn from it.
Widely accepted or not, he's read as scum to me literally the entire game.
If I'm right, then as someone who was "widely regarded as town", he never would have gotten lynched and town would lose.
If I'm wrong, well, I ****ed up then and I'm sorry to the town. But I've never seen a town that has completely called every scum member this early in a game this size, and I'd be surprised if this game is any different.
Like for real mang. The doctor thing isn't even that important.
But you were scum reading me for like no reason.
Then instead of killing IDK someone who would give a lot of relevant info you shoot me.
You know Why I didn't want to kill GJ? Because his flip doesn't reveal a lot. He's clearly scum, yet what does him flipping tell us? Where killing someone else gives us a lot of info. But I guess that thinking was too advanced for you to understand and I need to treat you like you are 5.
The hangar was silent, dusty, and deserted. An adjunct facility of the nearby prison, disused and abandoned, it had been all but forgotten. Until the rebellion managed to grease the right palms to look the other way.
Now, the Circe and the hangar became a hive of activity, as the remaining survivors began unloading equipment, and shipping it to the various compartments and lab facilities. Research, of a sort, had previously been conducted here. Scientific equipment still lingered. Surgical implements. Specimen tanks. Gene splicers. And, most disturbingly of all, a series of holding cells, some of them heavily reinforced. Perhaps the Sector Six prison may have made for a convenient supply of test subjects.
Amidst the bustle and chaos, an argument ensued. Shots were fired. And when the smoke cleared, yet another body lay upon the hangar deck.

Wildfire- Seppel, Cyth, MH , Tom, GJ
GJ - Shadow
Manders- Anak
Anak - Cyan

Official Empowerment Count:
Pretty sure the remaining scum team is Axel, GJ, Anak.
I just don't think WF gives himself up for dead like this if he's scum, not when he could get extra kills every day. This feels 100% like a bad town play.
There are just obvious ties between Anak and GJ, Iso and GJ, etc. I'm not completely positive that Axel is the final player there, but it makes the most sense right now.
So maybe we can get around to finally lynching Anak? Pretty please?
All spec ops players have gained the ability to vote for one another. Whenever a spec ops players voters for another spec ops player in Sudden Death, votes more than once in the same post, double-posts, or votes more than once each hour, they will be eliminated from the game. Only the first vote in a post with votes for multiple players will be counted.
These conditions will take effect immediately after a moderator arrives on scene and announces the initiation of sudden death, but the rules will not be publicly revealed until one half hour after the moderator announcement. Sudden death will continue until only a single spec ops player remains. The last spec ops player standing will enter the primary game with their current alignment, no abilities, and five empowerment.
oh, and vaimes is scum because that opening post is psyching himself up to post a bunch in spec ops rather than holding himself back from just *****posting.
strong vaimes-specific mindset tell.
bam.
just a reminder, i nailed vaimes on the 8th post of the game
I just can't see letting Wildfire live. That was almost literally the most anti-town thing he could have done, and I'm not even considering the fact that DV flipped a Doc role. Letting him off because "scum wouldn't have been that bold" is just wrong-headed reasoning. DV was town read by "a lot" pf people. You have to credit that, even if you have nagging doubts about him that your "gut" isn't just better than everyone else. DV also had all the empowerment last night and they just missed a kill. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to assume DV had something to do with that. But WF still shot him. And did it unilaterally, in the scummiest possible way. Come on.
I'm not dropping the hammer just yet, but that's where I'm voting.
I will actually ask for 1 more empower too at this point. I think I could do something with it tonight.

Ambush Krotiq makes me laugh so much. I keep rereading the card and it keeps not having Flash. In what sense is this an ambush again? I just have visions of this huge Krotiq poorly concealed in some bushes, feeling slightly sad that his carefully planned ambushes never seem to work.
I'm futzing around with this to see if there's anything to make out of it. This was the end-of-D1-Empower count:
Official Empowerment Count:
DV- Manders, Cyan, Seppel, Shadow, Tordeck
Seppel- Sir Chris, DV
Axelrod- GJ, Theiceman
Sir Chris- Iso, Cythare
TheIceMan-Wildfire, Axelrod, Bur
Wildfire- Tom
My issue here is, on D2 TIM came out and said he was now a Miller. One would assume that this was a scum ability used on him N1. So, like, I'm trying to figure who had empower to do that? And all I see here as possibilities are (1) Seppel.
I mean, it's not DV, or Chris, or WF (presumably we know where his empower went).
It's not me, though no one else can credit that yet.
So, like, unless (1) TIM did it to himself, or (2) He's scum and lying, or (3) scum started with some empower, or (4) scum scum stole some empower from somewhere without actually having empower? Or it's a "0" ability? But then why didn't we see it again?
This is probably too many uncertainties to do anything with. But I was thinking about it. I would really like TIM to show back up though.

@zomg: check out the empowerment mechanic and the chat mechanic. Those are pretty important game specific things to look at.
As far as a summary of the game...a lot has happened, I'm not sure how useful it will be out of context, but you can check out the spec ops thread for a quicker read.

This REALLY feels like a thoroughly scummy post to me. It just completely disregards any kind of context and is too basic for Town Axelrod, I think.
Also, now that we're seeing some useful role claims. If I have 2 Empowerment, I can double someone else' Empowerment. If I have 4, I can permanently give 4 to another person.
@Cyan: depending on what everyone else's ability claim is, I may move my empowerment over to you.
@Everyone voting Wildfire: If you're voting not because you think wildfire is scum, but because he's too dangerous to live, stop it. I don't care what the circumstances are, unless you're policy lynching someone, then lynching town intentionally is bad play. And don't tell me that this is a policy lynch, because it's not. I'm pretty certain that with Megs joining the game, WF is back up to L-2.
@Wildfire: if you have any ability(ies) other than QuickDraw, name them now. Also, if you're town, do not lurk yourself to death here.

My abilities are the Quick Draw and Sudden Death, which was a one-shot ability that took my last remaining empowerment.
Also I'm hardly lurking myself to death, but my talking doesn't seem to be putting me any further away from dying.

At this point we're in a good enough position that coordinating optimal empowerment is worth scum knowing everything.
