Like I'd expect you to be making a slightly different post than the one you just made.
It absolutely matters because if Scum shoots and I targeted them with my block, the Town wins, which means Cythare would win, too, since he survived (if his claim is what he's claimed, ofc.)
What ability are you talking about using Manders? The one that removes someone's ability to kill permanently? This is not a "role-block" though, right? And it costs 5 empower which you do not currently have? How would you even get to 5 empower for tonight?
I am definitely missing something here.
Yes, I'm talking about using my block. Yes, it is not a role-block, only a kill-block. It does cost 5 empowerment, and I have none.
The only way for her to get to 5 empower and also have me motivate her if she doesn't have any empowerment is for everyone else to empower her and for her to empower me, since there are 6 of us remaining.
If you only thought he was scum why weren't you scum hunting here in endgame?
Like you guys just really confuse me around here. Hey here are some concerns I have.
beep

Is this directed towards me?
1) I already said I was sick/busy the last 3 IRL days.
2) As has been the case this entire game, my Scumhunting was dismissed.
3) I still have no ******* clue who the last Scum is. In fact, I've already PM'd Azrael asking that he tell me ASAP once we go to Night.
You guys kinda drive me insane. I talk about my concern with the megiddo thing and both manders and axel ignore it only to bring it up right now. If Mander is town, I'm going to just go bash my head against the wall. Hey guess what guys, you know what kind of works? When people work together and not just all act as single entities spouting their reads and just ignoring everybody else. That sometimes helps I hear.
I guess I don't understand why megiddo wasn't interested in no lynching and giving manders his five empowerment tonight to have her use it tomorrow night. I wish I would have had more time today to be around and not scrambling once i got home from work, I'd have asked him about that.

Hopefully Manders is trolling though.
I'm not trolling and wasn't here to discuss Megiddo with you.
It wouldn't have done any good anyway. It was a foregone conclusion that either you or myself would be lynched Today.

Micha Brom might have been the largest man anyone left alive in the increasingly empty research station had ever seen. Echoing footsteps, dripping pipes, and the faint whir of the lighting and heating systems were among the only vestiges of life remaining, in a venue that increasingly felt fewer parts laboratory, and more parts morgue or graveyard. But somehow, when he entered a room, it would seem almost crowded. Perhaps from the way he seemed to loam over anyone nearby, practically engulfing anyone near him within his shadow. Perhaps the way the crown of his scarred, balding head just about brushed the ceiling. Or, perhaps, it was just the blank, granite-like stare that he would fix upon anyone in the room with him. Whatever it was, he was unnerving man under any circumstances, but especially at a moment in time when victims were being found smashed into a lifeless pulp.
Micha had done many things he wasn't proud of, during his life. He left home for good the night he cracked his father's skull and left him on the floor, not sure if he was alive or dead, drunk or sober. It'd never made much difference. Still didn't. He was big for his size then, and people would always have a use for muscle, no matter the century. Government, rebel, criminal - he'd worked for all of them at one time or another. And they'd all asked him to follow orders, and not to dwell on the consequences. It became a habit, and a talent. Twist an arm out of a socket. Squeeze a throat. Hold a child's head down beneath the surface of a tub of water while the parents watched. Just another day's work.
So when they put a gun to the back of his head, and told him it was nothing personal, he understood. But they also needed to understand that he wasn't going quietly.
He let his full weight come crashing back upon the one holding the weapon to his head. There was something deeply ingrained in people, that when an object that large comes falling down upon them, their first thought is to keep from being pinned. And by the time the second thought, pulling the trigger occurs, it's already too late. The arm was pinned off to the side. Easy to break, with a twist. Human bones aren't all that tough, especially with the proper leverage.
That left four. One came in with a knife, the other, a pipe. He scarcely noticed the one with the pipe, and delivered haymaker in trade for the knife slash. No time to delay, against four. Accept the pain, to deal with them quickly. His blood oozed onto the floor at an alarmingly rapid rate. Well, wasn't the first time. The one with the knife was prone, eyes slightly glazed.
The man with the pipe was still at it. He was strong enough, and capable enough, but he was aiming for all the wrong places, for hard muscle, and bone. Micha caught the pipe in his right hand. Something in his eyes must have made the man back off. So did the other two. They locked the door to the room behind them.
He tried to patch the wound, but it was long, deep cut. The bandages kept soaking through. The med bay wasn't far; he'd have to make it through. He started on the door, with the pipe. It was metal, and it wasn't built to be broken easily, but it also wasn't built to withstand Micha Brom. It took him ten more minutes, but he was through. But by then, he was feeling light-headed, and dizzy. And there was a truly impressive amount of red seeping across the floor in crimson pools.
He made his way to the med bay. Locked, again. No one in sight. He started on that door, too. But his arms were starting to feel like leaden weights. Time after time, the pipe rang out against the door handle. Bit by bit, it bent, and warped. And as it bent, so did Micha's vision begin to blur around the edges, and his breath to come more raggedly. Finally, it did at last break, leaving a jagged shard behind. He grabbed, twisted, heedlessly cutting his hand on the metal, and stumbled towards the medicine locker. He made it halfway there, before the room spun sideways, and his head hit the side of the operating table, hard.
He seemed to recall voices, faces, standing over and around him. He cursed. He insulted them. He told them they were all fools. That they didn't have the faintest idea who he was, what they were doing. That there was still time to save him. Still time to give him the blood he needed. It was right there, in the locker, so close. But their eyes were hard. They seemed to say, over and over, it's nothing personal. Just business. Just another day. Just his last day.

So, somehow I completely missed the fact that this was an extremely short night. I did not see Az's notice in the thread, he sent me a PM about an hour ago which I was not around for, and the whole time I thought I had until tomorrow to make a choice. As a result, I did not shoot anyone. Amusingly (to me at least) it looks like the mafia may have missed it also. Unless they actually deliberately withheld.
The positive of this is that we may not actually be in a lynch or lose anymore.

Can we have Megiddo removed from the forum forever please?
i'm pretty sure i can find your ***** online within 3 minutes
Well, judging by the no one else being here, this suggests to me that Meg., at least, is not a scum who missed his kill last night....
That would only possibly make him a scum who deliberately withheld. Which I suppose is possible, but just seems very unlikely. Especially when he knows that DoTA is getting himself mod. confirmed today. Wouldn't you at the very least shoot the 100% confirmed Townie? It's not like he would be increasing the chances of a mis-lynch by withholding, the possibilities are exactly the same.
Maybe he could have been banking on me shooting someone and then him getting an "extra" kill tonight to just win. But I'm thinking probably not. Which is something, because the way the end of yesterday went Meg. had shot way back up my radar. So, not Meg., unless it turns out Meg. gave his Empower to Cyth. last night, which no Townie should ever, ever have done in which case, all bets are off again.
ATM I'm between Cyth./Tammy. With Tammy maybe odds on more likely to be scum, but Cyth seeming the "safer" choice.

I had legitimately not decided yet. You were pissing me off, and I was constructing all kind of elaborate theories as to how you could be the last scum and were angling to keep Cyth. alive as a possible ally at the end, and maybe the two of you were even conspiring about it in your cozy chat room. Shooting you would have been the big gamble, but possibly necessary because if you were scum you just weren't going to get lynched. Then there was Cyth. who I felt should easily have been the lynch yesterday but got zero traction on it. Shooting him would have eliminated that possible threat, and maybe win the game, but if HE was scum, he probably had secret re-direct empower, and the attempt might have backfired horribly. That left Tammy, who seemed like the "safest" choice, but then I was fretting over having both you and Cyth. alive today, and him with a possible day-kill at that point. That might just have been instant loss.
So, anyway, I hadn't made up my mind yet and then the night ended....

I feel better about you giving the 5 empower to Tammy. You needed to give it away and I think that was probably the safest thing you could have done with it, which I appreciate, and it also makes a Cyth/You alliance seem less likely.
Now a You/Tammy alliance....That would bring us back to Az not having any clue how many scum is appropriate in any game he designs. Frankly I'm still waiting for the last shoe to drop here and for us to lose to some completely unpredictable event. If Tammy is scum, she's probably got an ability that was never claimed and she's got some empower now from what DOTA did, and maybe she's got something else from the "passive moving" she's been doing. Just all kinds of ways Mr. Paranoia can see for things to go bad still.

As per yesterday, it seems like the "safe" play is to just lynch Cyth. today, lynch Tammy tomorrow. GG. I'm somewhat worried about all the extra empower Tammy currently has though, and if she's scum possibly being able to do something terrible with it.

I just got some not so great news, and my care for mafia just shot down terribly. Hopefully things won't be as dire or maybe tomorrow I won't care and I'll care about this again, but who knows.
Anyway, I'm not scum not even a tiny little bit. Please go read my last game here for anyone who thinks there's a tiny chance I'm scum. I get that meta doesn't mean everything but it should definitely be used as a tool, and anyone in their right mind cannot actually be town and think I could be scum if you see what my scum game is like.
I'm a bit confused as to why everyone is still here, and the one that makes the most sense to me is axelrod but his equivocating about why he went through the process last night does look a little town or maybe I just frankly don't care right now and I can't muster the ability to be paranoid about this too right now.
For the scum kill it was an absolute no brainer, kill dota. That should have been sent in to azrael as soon as night began. It's what I would have done if I were scum. I don't know why Axel was going through the questions on who to kill last night either. I thought he was killing me, but Cythare made sense when he said that he was the obvious kill. My concern right now is that Axel saved it last night to use tonight because if he is scum we lose our 3p lylo as he has two kills tonight.
Also Axel did you mean that Azrael sent you an email about the night deadline? I didn't get an email. I wonder why he sent one to you because that is really weird.
I did nothing last night because I had nothing to do. My zero ability is just to remove passives, and that didn't seem very beneficial or purposeful so I did nothing. I didn't have the two empowerment to transfer passives last night, so I couldn't do that. People can wax paranoia all they want about me having something extra, but that's all I have, don't have anything else.
Anyway if you're going to try to make up some narrative where I'm somehow the scum I'm not, you better get to coming up with some kind of strategic reason I missed the night kill. I don't miss deadlines; in fact I'm so paranoid about missing deadlines, I constantly check threads to make sure, keep in contact with the mod and unless I'm waffling about who to kill send in provisionals early.
I guess the other possibility is that cythare didn't shoot because he thought he was being shot last night but that also feels weird.
Oh wait I do have a question. Axel why did you just completely ignore the whole possibility of giving manders empowerment so that she could kill block people? You asked how she was going to get empowerment and then ignored the ensuing discussion of how to get that to vote her even though you thought she was town and were more favorable to lynching me? Like I have absolutely no idea where your head is at this game and am having a really super hard time seeing you as town here. You're not really doing anything to help out town, you completely ignore people, you've shown absolutely no insight into the game at all, and you completely ignored a scenario where we could have potentially cleared someone to vote to lynch that person. Like what the hell are you doing?
I'm torn right now between Meg and Cyth. Tammy has looked town since replacing in and Seppel didn't look like scum either. Axel can't be scum since as a Vig that puts way too much power on the scum side. I wouldn't even consider Meg right now and would be pushing for a Cyth lynch if it wasn't for Cyan expressing some paranoia about Meg in our private chat, I've had him as a hard town read since I came in but I've been horibbly wrong before. The last time we played together where he was scum though he buddied me quite hard, I would assume it's down to having an idea of my weaknesses and seeing an easy target. He hasn't done this here at all, which coupled with his play so far makes me want to believe he's town.
My current thinking is lynch Cyth and Axel shoots Meg. If Tammy is scum then well played. If Axel is scum then it's possible the game was skewed in favour of scum from the very beginning.
Is that all you have to add? I do want to believe you're town, I really do. But if I have to choose between you, Axel and Tammy you're at the bottom of the three. Cyth should be the lynch, if he flips scum then we win before you're shot. If Cyth flips neutral as claimed then it has to be you from my perspective.
If anyone believes there's any possibility that zacelrod is scum, and I'm not convinced he's town, he has to be a point of discussion today. He has the empowerment for a vig kill which would give him two kills tonight and the game win.
But considering this game is apparently us all sitting in our separate rooms singing into the wind acting like conversations are stupid and listening to ourselves speak is the best thing ever, I expect this to be ignored again.

Anyway night all, I hope you have a good one.
My current thinking is lynch Cyth and Axel shoots Meg. If Tammy is scum then well played. If Axel is scum then it's possible the game was skewed in favour of scum from the very beginning.
Vote: Cythare
i mean cythare vote is practically mandatory Today yes
but I'm not sure where you're coming up with Meg as potential scum
But considering this game is apparently us all sitting in our separate rooms singing into the wind acting like conversations are stupid and listening to ourselves speak is the best thing ever, I expect this to be ignored again.
