@GJ, seriously, you are hands down my favorite player to be in game with.
I did actually consider the frame question, which is why I asked. I hate that I was hating Anak's post a ton and didn't look harder at him. I did the same thing to Iso in AA, I have to stop caring about what scum may or may not do.
Meteor though, he was soooo pure man. That is so hard to fake, especially as a new player.

My very first game ever as Mafia (was on a different site) I rolled scum and faked pure to a perfect victory. I never took a vote past RVS, and my partner actually replaced out after one post, three days in. I don't ever clear people as new even if they seem perfect.
However, I should have just stuck to my guns with Anak, though I'm fairly certain I couldn't have swayed meteor.
Also my gambit makes actually zero sense btw guys. I realized I needed to die and to make it seem like I was trying to remove any suspicion off of shadow.

That's true. Turning Meteor I think would have been uphill. I think I should be scared of your wolf game then though, but maybe I'll see through it.
For the future in F3 with nobody mechanically correct, Anak was far too confidant in his read of shadow. I was pretty hard on Meteor being town, but I still would have reread him instead. Shadow being waffley also looks really bad in F3, which means he is likely town (strike this if a player IS mechanically clear). I think everyone did well, especially after I kind of tipped the boat ending on Shadow. Just remember how you feel, because it felt like Shadow/Meteor were on the same page, but Anak was on a whole nother level.
That said, Anak did quite well. I would like to think I would have caught him in the end, but I can't know that for sure. I think Shadow would to do some work to convince me, but the ground was more fertile with me than Meteor, I believe.
I really enjoyed watching this game unfold.
There were so many ways to play it.
Framing the godfather was among the more exciting ones. And ultimately won the game.
The mafia did a good job distancing, and when added to the NA decisions it was enough.
Despite the town all being really quite townie.
@GJ, honestly I feel like I've melded with you fairly well in the play we've had together, I truly hoped f3 would have been you/me/and Anak.
Totally locking me I'm as scum at eod 2 was unfortunate though

I didn't lock you per say. And I am surprised you didn't push my votes, because even as I was thinking you were scum, I was really questioning a lot of Anak's posts. Why didn't you try to use them? Might have gotten meteor to turn...

I got stuck on the mechanics of DV's gambit, and by the time I was off of that, I felt like whichever one of them was town was basically confbiasing me as scum for anything I said.
For clarity, do I have to unvote in a separate post for it to count?
Oh yeah.
I missed the unvote until I had already posted the scene.
It would be better to unvote in a separate post, but that's my bad.
Okay. It probably wouldn't have mattered so much if I had actually gotten on over the weekend, I came back to it and was stunned.
No worries though.
Zomg, for the record, I tried not to lynch you!
Aww man! Well played D_V and Anak, you played me good.
In the end it all came down to whether it went the safe way or the crazy way and I thought it the safe way.
Apperantly I was so certain I also managed to convince Shadow of that, lol
Thanks Bur for the mentoring! Thanks Tom for modding!
Was very fun, specially that whole exchange with GJ in the middle of the game.

I was shocked at Night 1 when I come back to the thread to see someone got lynched.
I look closer at the screen, see its ZOMG.
Look even closer, see you are the first voter in the wagon.

You did, which is a darn shame
You played amazingly for your first game. I wanted to say something all during the game, but I wanted you to genuinely believe me.

Thank you! I appreciate it.
About your little vote/unvote trick - I really didn't see the Unvote, and I really didn't care about the vote for Anak as much as I cared for how much I didn't agree with the content. I wonder what would have happen if there was no content attached and your just Voted/Unvoted.

Fair enough, I wish you'd made a snap "not hammering" post
Well played all, that one was incredibly fun to play! Also thanks to you Tom for hosting!
That was one of the more fun games I have played in a while. DV you are a mad genius for seeing the framing line, and me copping and voting you was so strange I almost didn't do it. Felt like it couldn't be right, but then I knew for our play to work you had to be investigated and lynched so I went for it.
Coming in to D3 I thought about killing Meteor for a bit, but in my mind shadow was the easiest mislynch. I felt that scum!shadow was most likely to eliminate GJ after the last post where you said shadow was scum if DV was framer. Still pretty sure that's the right call but I'm less sure of that after reading spec chat.
I got more aggressive about my read on shadow as the day went on and it looked like Meteor was on my side. Though by the end of it I was way more confident in my read than I should have been, but didn't matter by that point.
Well played by all! Meteor and Shadow specifically, you both played D3 really well. GJ you can read me like a book and it's really annoying, going to have to work on that

We went for the meta meta play.
