We see the wild Zenzao going about his natural routine, almost like clockwork: lurking around the savanna (his desktop) and occasionally moseying up to other gentle creatures; until around sundown, at which point he packs up and makes for his tree (goes mobile) where he will spend the rest of the evening alone and undisturbed. A healthy Zenzao will prefer not sleep for some time, and their precise waking time is currently unknown.
Same. Vaimes keeps going back and forth without placing a vote. Townclearing left and right.
Silver is (once again) trying to shift the focus off of shadow and onto vaimes.
Vaimes keeps townclearing people (lets be honest the post he used to townclear me is ,in my opinion, not indicitive of alignment) i also found it off that he isn't voting shadow.
Here is my wild theory:
Shadow vaimes and silver
Vaimes for his voting patterns and poor townclears (in order to make his townclears feel legit)
Silver for never changing on shadow (yes i know that is a stretch but it's the obvious connection on my head)

Eco still reads town
Tom and zenzao are the wildcards.
If shadow flips town then it's those two and vaimes.
Im done talking. Can we lynch the scum plzkthnx?

Im not useless Rodemy, i got called into work yesterday. Lets not rush the day i have things to say as do others.
Should get a post in tonight
I am breaking my no talking for this
Tom wants a hammer
I want a hammer
Zen wants a hammer.
That leaves you and eco (the other two are dancing)
Please, tell us what more you want to discuss?
Now, unfortunatly for you, after this, the no more talking rule goes back into effect. I am done for toDay.
Vaimes has said more than enough
Silver isn't gonna move his vote
Eco.. are you gonna vote soon?
Zomg you have been eager to hammer every day, why do you want to stall now?
The best thing for town right now is a flip. We can argue semantics and poe all day, but i feel like scum is delaying this lynch to cause more confusion toMorrow.
Rodemy, out.

Rodemy Pizza

Preferably til Sunday evening, because I'd really like to try and save this game. If I can at least get a case off and do everything in my power to stop this loss, I'll at least not feel as frustrated if I still get hammered.
tom is outed scum just by virtue of being on shadow at all.
Unless you think Rodemy or Zen is scum with two of the people not on shadow, or the entire scum team is off shadow, you should help me lynch tom right now. ToMorrow we can argue about whether or not shadow is his buddy. I sort of think he could be, but there's a non-trivial amount of wine around Zen/Vaimes right now.
If you want a scum flip and another Day, vote tomsloger.
Eco, what specifically do you disagree with w/r/t my reasoning for Rod and Zenzao being town, and therefore not on any existing scumteam?
I don't overly disagree with you on Rod. I think he fits the Silver/Shadow scum team, but I agree that behaviourally he's been very Town. While you have the experience with Zenzao, I think you're just blanket clearing him too easily. To use your example, I agree scum wouldn't want to draw attention to themselves by DEMANDING a read from me, but on the other hand, he got super worked up and then as soon as I produced something, he immediately dropped it without really absorbing it; no "I think this makes Eco scum/town" or anything.
Good points by and large. Let's hammer and be done with the Day.
The fundamental issue I have, Vaimes, is that in your proposed scum team of Silver/Shadow/Tom, you are straight up saying that here we are in LyLo and the two competing wagons with votes are both ON scum and being primarily driven BY scum. I just cannot imagine a world where that would be a sensible line of play. How do you explain that?

Explain how Shadow could be Tom's buddy. Sharpish.

Their interactions at the beginning of the game are pretty soft and they've drifted down to almost nothing. They've just sort of been scum reading each other and not talking about it.
On top of that, tom has been pushing me and shadow as only being scum together. If they're buddies, he's trying to get me mislynched after shadow or soft-clear shadow when I'm dead. His plan now is bus shadow, get town cred, lynch me, win.
I'm still not convinced shadow is scum in a vacuum. Because on top of the stuff I said in my summary, I don't really think it's you or Rodemy, and if it's not you it has to be Vaimes. But if it's Vaimes I think tom/Vaimes/Zen makes more sense than tom/Vaimes/shadow.
@tom:
If you're (somehow) town, you're either voting with scum, or Eco or Vaimes is scum. Who do you think is the third on the silver/shadow scum team?

oh good, you dont have to reevaluate on me when shadow flips scum now
kappa
Skimming posts as they come, but between other games that I've been neglecting/approaching deadline and needing to put in some serious time into this game over the weekend, I'm not going to be very present until I get some solid thoughts out on Sunday.
You don't even care who the third is. Because you know there is no third.
If you were town you would care because if there's no possible third then you're possibly mislynching someone and losing right now.
But you're not mislynching someone and losing, you're either bussing or about to win.
You're just hoping we buy your bull***** long enough to get shadow lynched so you can win outright or spend tomorrow pushing me for being aligned with him.

i dont currently care
i get its lylo and theres only scumflips or game over
but why should i try to guess the third right now?
theres still the first two scum to flip and NK info before figuring that out
i mean, its probably just zomg tonight
but the NK after that should actually mean something
and yes, hoping everyone buys my bull***** long enough for me to win is ALWAYS my strategy
but why should i try to guess the third right now?
Because it's really difficult for scum to make plausible scum teams. By refusing to make a plausible scum team, you're refusing to help us clear people.
Actually, why aren't we no lynching here? Sure, that means zomg dies, but if we can actually lynch tom tomorrow, that means that we get real night kill data sooner.
but why should i try to guess the third right now?

zomg is clear
and i doubt id ever vote to lynch rodemy or eco
actually thats just a dumb statement.
im refusing to help clear people?
i have too many damn clears.
If you're town and have too many town reads, why wouldn't you reevaluate before lynching?
You're saying it's not zomg and you wouldn't lynch rodemy or eco. So that leaves zen and vaimes. I want to hear from you what our supposed buddy is doing while we both pile on you at the same time. Because I don't believe that you believe in either of those teams.
Like, you aren't even trying to convince anyone that your reads, clears, and view of the game are correct. You're just repeating them ad nauseam and answering people's questions when they ask you stuff. When I read your iso, I feel like you're coasting. If you really think it's me/shadow you should be trying to convince Eco and Vaimes that you're right. But you aren't. You're just sitting back waiting for other people to do stuff.
The fundamental issue I have, Vaimes, is that in your proposed scum team of Silver/Shadow/Tom, you are straight up saying that here we are in LyLo and the two competing wagons with votes are both ON scum and being primarily driven BY scum. Zenzao can get a bit cheeky sometimes. If anything, it makes him less likely to be scum.
It's like. I view his towngame as extroverted, and scumgame as introverted. If that makes sense.
As for the wagons, wine? Diversionary tactic? I don't ******* know, if tom is scum, then all bets are off. He openly defended his obvscum buddy in one game, and counterclaimed a town PR in another, so the "why would he do xyz as scum?" well is pretty deep, imo.
Vaimes
zomg
Zenzao
Rod
Eco
tom
shadow
Silver
I'm town. zomg is the Doc. I really, really don't think I'm wrong on Zenzao or Rod. I'd rather lynch in shadow/Silver over you/tom, but I believe there are three scum in that group. And no matter what I do, I feel like I'm going to end up voting for the townie first and we'll just lose.
Actually, why aren't we no lynching here? Sure, that means zomg dies, but if we can actually lynch tom tomorrow, that means that we get real night kill data sooner.
Man, this is awful.
We'll be in the EXACT same situation we're in toDay minus a townfirm. That's literally it. If you can't lynch tom toDay, why the **** would you have better luck toMorrow.
@tom: Of course you like where the game is headed. You're scum.
Also, you forgot teams with Vaimes/Eco on them.
But sure, from your PoV I guess he's only town if Rodemy and Zen are both scum. This is a brief summary of the Mindreaver wagon.
To begin, here is the votal immediately before Eco makes the shadow case:
Eco's case is #1007.
Seppel, Rodemy, and Zen immediately jump on him in the next few posts. Do note that Seppel and Rodemy were both voting Zen and then Zen turns around and gets on a wagon with them. This is followed by tom voting shadow, giving us the following official vote count:
Due to wagon speed, there's probably already one scum on him. Also, Tordeck missed shadow's vote on Zen but this is the official vote count. I'm manually tracking votes from this count forward.
There's some back and forth between me and eco mostly where he thinks I should be bussing Mindreaver (lol). Rodemy votes shadow for not voting his scum read then unvotes entirely when he realizes shadow's vote was missed. Vaimes tries to convince me and shadow to either scum read each other or Mindreaver.
shadow makes a long~ish post of his reads and says tom is most likely scum, then votes him. Current vote count:
Then Rodemy votes shadow for voting tom? Then immediately goes back to Mindreaver, putting Mind at L-1. So I unvote to get a reads list and stuff from Mind, and this happens...
You could've stayed on him.
Like. That's why I unvoted.
If you want to lynch him go ahead.
I'd just rather not have him at L-1 until he says some stuff.
Otherwise he could self-hammer or something.
I don't remember, but don't normally scum self-hammer?
I don't see why he would if he were town.
I would be more concerned about scum throwing down the hammer real fast. I have seen that happen before.
Nah, my vote is staying on shadow. I wanted to see if anyone jumped at the quick hammer. Testing waters, ya know? "fun" as I called it. (remember i am the man who would shoot first in RVS if i had a vig shot)
This whole exchange reads really weirdly to me. Especially the last post. Like Rodemy knew Mind was town, almost? He says "don't normally scum self-hammer? I don't see why he would if he were town" like he believed Mind wouldn't self-hammer. And then "I would be more concerned about scum throwing down the hammer real fast. I have seen that happen before." But that's only a concern if Mindreaver is town. And Rodemy thinks he is scum, doesn't he? Also, how could he bait the quick hammer if he actually thought Mind was scum? Scum wouldn't quick hammer their buddy, and even if they did quick hammering scum is usually NAI. It certainly wouldn't out them if they quick hammered a buddy.
Anyway he unvotes and goes back to shadow, then I put Mindreaver back at L-2.
A while later Seppel says to go ahead and lynch him so Rodemy puts him back at L-1, Zen unvotes because he wants Eco to post his read on him before the hammer, Eco posts it, then Zen and zomg hammer him while I'm offline.
I think you're missing the point.
My whole assumption is that I'll not be lynched, because if I do scum win regardless. If we successfully lynch scum today (Tom), zomg is the night kill and PoE is exactly where it was today. If we no lynch today Zomg is the night kill, then lynch scum tomorrow, scum have to shoot into the PoE.
It is also reasonable that we lynch scum today and then no lynch tomorrow, but the fact that no one has even entertained the idea actually surprises me, because everyone is working from PoE anyway.
Sure, there's a bit of wine for the scum team if we do - do they kill zomg (who, no offense, probably won't solve the game on his own) or roleblock him and kill someone else?
Thing is, even if they kill someone else, it'll be someone that isn't likely to be mislynched anyway. Like Eco.
If we're going to no-lynch, we should wait until after the scum team kills zomg and if they never kill him we should do it in F4, ~maybe.
Assuming we even get that far.
In the abstract, that looks exactly like the kind of post scum makes to a townie. Because they (usually) don't really mean it, they're just trying to get the townie to back off. Scarbo made similar posts in Trigger Happy, if I recall correctly.
I don't know. Maybe I'm just tunneling. The Eco thing is a thing, I guess, but if it's not Zen it's still [tom/shadow] and between you, Eco, and Rodemy for the third. Problem is, I kind of don't think it's Eco because he's been pretty townie and I don't really think it's Rodemy for a host of reasons. Rodemy's not even really a credible scum buddy for shadow anyway.
So I guess it's most likely you, if it's not him? Which... sort of makes sense (even though I thought your play was wildly different from Trigger Happy). But if it's tom/you I actually think zen is a more likely third than shadow and tom/zen means shadow can be town and not be hammered. I think a long hard look at the stuff that happened around the Mindreaver wagon will help me figure out who's who, because some of the people that wanted shadow dead lynched Mindreaver instead and I'm hoping I can figure out if scum were saving him for toDay or if they were choosing a town lynch over a buddy.
I need to look at wagons still, too, but I suspect I'll just end up confirming my own bias and it won't actually help. Meh. I'll do it anyway because I like looking at wagons.
Ever since if I'm remembering correctly Lexicat's 'pick a character and alignment' game three or four years ago I've typically clashed hard with those who try to scumread me. Its' in my nature to fight back until they finally admit they're wrong or I'm lynched first and they're proven wrong. I think it stems to a game not long before that where I was lynched D1 just for the sake of the gamestate getting a flip and I'm the kind of personality that doesn't forget that kind of thing(or forgive it I suppose) very easily. Since Lexi's CYS was where I finally returned to playing mafia I've used it as the foundation of my town meta, and the one scum game I've had (Batmafia2 hosted by Kalas) I was still inexperienced and having to try and feign that same town meta where it wasn't a simple task, as I don't remember ever really getting into it with anyone except for maybe Scum!Titus in a heavy amount of bussing, but the heat wasn't really there. Going into Sloth/TerRaine's original setting I railed hard at her for ******* around and scumreading me seriously despite having just come off of a game where we were partners from the onset(it turned out she was scum/town-siding 3p). In WitchHunt 3(I think) my situation was something like it has been here, although I started off from the get-go with the other player list as opposed to replacing into a screwed slot - I fumbled around, was intermittently defensive/offensive, and in the end barely voted the correct player in Final 3 for a town victory, but Mathblade subbed into that game as scum, which set up the interaction to follow for us returning to DLP for Narutomafia. We got into pages-long arguments where she tunneled me and I unintendedly tunneled her right back up until she finally flipped after a ****ed counter-claim on the cop(she was also town but... Math is math if you will, reading a canyon's worth into a few simple lines was her play style). Going into Mimefia Fonti avoided direct confrontation and answering me for most of our interactions, skipping around the subject and pushing it off, up until I pulled a three-post massive wall gambit that fingered her as the most probable scum and she came out of the gate like a firecracker then. Turns out I was right on her though I ended up getting NK'd N1. In Harry Potter Mafia I finally, finally, felt like I was comfortable enough with playing mafia to cool my heels and just take my time, even though I ended up encouraging/going with the flow of CFD's. In the aftermath of an unintended modkill(still salty over that, Vaimes!) my confidence took a blow, and it was during the frustration of watching through obs as the town descended down the road to failure that Eido popped up with the request for a sub on here. I agreed to play to get back into things without actually reading much of this game itself, and I've been struggling to overcome Clara's mistakes even as I keep making my own. Stuff I'd done before that I felt were of no major consequence(keeping updated votals as DayEnd neared) were pushing me deeper into a scumread, and Seppel's push on me for that struck a nerve, but I finally backed off and stopped myself from going into it any further in the vain hope to avoid making a complete ******** of myself here. After Mind flipped town here I pretty much gave up. Hence why I said a day or two back that whether we hit scum now or not or the game finally ends I'd be happy either way - I'm stuck in a position where I'm not enjoying playing but I can't replace out and put some other poor ****er into the same position that Clara put me, I'm ready to get started fresh on a different game.
TL;DR - Yes, I'm going to come after you if you poke me and call me scum or dodge around me. The former is Titus/Mathblade(and I have dropped out of a game before upon seeing Titus /in as well) now Seppel, the latter is Fonti now Eco. I felt Eco's avoidance of dealing with me was a little too similar to Mimefia!Fonti.
Zen, why did you post that (chastising tom for rushing and then saying "let's be done with this Day")?
Because tom has felt opportunistic and I've been considering a world where you and him are scum and we're just going to **** it up again with toDay's vote. There is a part of me that wants to keep going and actually win, but I'm not expecting it with the flips that have turned up(and again, why the hell did Seppel not shoot someone N2?). After Rod's post I shrugged and said to myself 'I guess he's right, Vaimes wasn't voting yesterDay and is sitting the fence toDay and why am I reminded faintly of miner in HPM?'. I nearly called out you, Silver, Eco, and zomg to get on the wagon, and instead opted to just leave well enough alone instead of having someone look at the order I'd decided to ping and decide I was scumbuddies for that too.

Either the scum are Silver/Shadow/X and they've played terribly and have managed to escape lynches basically through luck, or the team is Vaimes/Tom/Zen and they've just hung back and let the town run over themselves. Why is no-one interested in trying to work it out and just picking the easy option?
And yes, I make references to players I am passingly familiar with. Check the names against the games. And while you're at it, build a case against me if you think I'm scum. It worked so well before.

How have they been playing terribly? If they're 2/3rds of the scumteam they've done brilliantly in allowing us to hang ourselves the past three Days and its only here in MyLo that they're on the chopping block. Scum!miner and scum!Citrus pulled it off in HPM despite scum!Jarizok's lynch D2.

They have irrevocably tied themselves together, and only survived D1 because of a CFD and D2 because I joined the game and made a strong case on Mindreaver. Why are you trying to defend how well they've played when Shadow is moments away from the lynch right now?
zenzao, are you still basing your read on me off of mimefia?
shadow at L-1 in mylo.
anyone still think hes town?
Early on, yes, I felt you were posting around page 10-13 when I came into the game in the same meta of what I remembered of Mimefia. That more or less stuck after catching up. As D1 ended and we proceeded on I began to wonder about that as you felt less towny to me.

Only just now saw this(I well and truly despise the way this forum handles fresh posts). It doesn't matter that they've tied themselves together because they've kept the spotlight off of a third member and can still win even if we lynch through them. D1 was a crapshoot(hence my determination that we lynch someone to help sort out behavior around the flip), they had as much chance of dying as anyone at DayEnd. Also, that's a riot that you're claiming all the fame for lynching Mind considering you had *****-all to say about him in your first wall and only made that move as the Day proceeded, but more power to you.

That's not pro town.
Yes. I've said twice now I want this game over and done with - how have you missed this? If we successfully hit scum in shadow, huzzah, maybe I'll feel motivated to keep trying and pry victory from the jaws of town ****ups.
talk to me about vaimes' read of you.
you think youre capable of faking whatever townie sass he sees in you?
Your posts since DayEnd D1 have given me reason to glance at you askew, especially with Seppel, Mind, and Mete0r's flips. Same of Vaimes. Could I fake my town behavior? Yes, read Bat2. Am I likely to be caught out doing it on a new site amongst largely unfamiliar players? A possibility, but that depends on where Vaimes' sits as he's the one defending me so hard it's actually bothering me. I see a world where scum!Vaimes knows how I play and sees no benefit in lying about it so that I help him survive to the final few and then he kills me or else wins regardless. Now for the thousand dollar question, am I faking my frustrations with this game? No, I'm not.

I'm sorry for calling for shadow's head for forever and not just killing him immediately when he's at L-1, but I want to look over things one more time.
I'm probably gonna take a self-pity break from mafia if shadow is town here and the scumteam is trolling me into hammering and losing the game.

Also, he does ***** like this:
The fundamental issue I have, Vaimes, is that in your proposed scum team of Silver/Shadow/Tom, you are straight up saying that here we are in LyLo and the two competing wagons with votes are both ON scum and being primarily driven BY scum. I just cannot imagine a world where that would be a sensible line of play. How do you explain that?
You realize this is mylo, correct?
If shadow is town we lose immediately. That's why we were trying to not rush the lynch.
Tom quoted this and hey wait what hold up a second.
Explain how Shadow could be Tom's buddy. Sharpish.
but thats a good question too
On top of that, tom has been pushing me and shadow as only being scum together.
@tom:
If you're (somehow) town, you're either voting with scum, or Eco or Vaimes is scum. Who do you think is the third on the silver/shadow scum team?
kappa
problem for final 4, etc
If you were town you would care because if there's no possible third then you're possibly mislynching someone and losing right now.
But you're not mislynching someone and losing, you're either bussing or about to win.
You're just hoping we buy your bull***** long enough to get shadow lynched so you can win outright or spend tomorrow pushing me for being aligned with him.
i get its lylo and theres only scumflips or game over
but why should i try to guess the third right now?
theres still the first two scum to flip and NK info before figuring that out
i mean, its probably just zomg tonight
but the NK after that should actually mean something
and yes, hoping everyone buys my bull***** long enough for me to win is ALWAYS my strategy
and i doubt id ever vote to lynch rodemy or eco
actually thats just a dumb statement.
im refusing to help clear people?
i have too many damn clears.
You're just sitting back waiting for other people to do stuff.
because i like where the game is headed
at least for the next two days
after that, idk
Your "give me until toMorrow to case people" is worse.
Man, this is awful.
We'll be in the EXACT same situation we're in toDay minus a townfirm. That's literally it. If you can't lynch tom toDay, why the **** would you have better luck toMorrow.
Zen, why did you post that (chastising tom for rushing and then saying "let's be done with this Day")?
tom (2) - shadow (1341), silver (1342)
so the only way shadow can be town is if the team is exactly silver/zenzao/rodemy
or else this game would be over already
this is much easier for me than anyone who hasnt seen my role pm
Also, you forgot teams with Vaimes/Eco on them.
But sure, from your PoV I guess he's only town if Rodemy and Zen are both scum.
This is a brief summary of the Mindreaver wagon.
To begin, here is the votal immediately before Eco makes the shadow case: Eco's case is #1007.
Seppel, Rodemy, and Zen immediately jump on him in the next few posts. Do note that Seppel and Rodemy were both voting Zen and then Zen turns around and gets on a wagon with them. This is followed by tom voting shadow, giving us the following official vote count:
There's some back and forth between me and eco mostly where he thinks I should be bussing Mindreaver (lol). Rodemy votes shadow for not voting his scum read then unvotes entirely when he realizes shadow's vote was missed. Vaimes tries to convince me and shadow to either scum read each other or Mindreaver.
shadow makes a long~ish post of his reads and says tom is most likely scum, then votes him. Current vote count:
Anyway he unvotes and goes back to shadow, then I put Mindreaver back at L-2.
A while later Seppel says to go ahead and lynch him so Rodemy puts him back at L-1, Zen unvotes because he wants Eco to post his read on him before the hammer, Eco posts it, then Zen and zomg hammer him while I'm offline.
So, someone talk to me about that post Rodemy made. It looks like a thing to me. Plus tom/Rodemy/x means shadow can be town. (confirmationbias.jpg)
I don't think it helps much.
>People insist on voting and risk throwing it
So read a game and familiarize yourself. I've linked two. Want more?
Lexicat's Choose Your Side
Kalas' Batmafia 2
Sloth/TerRaine's Endgames
Fluff's Narutomafia
Eido(Voxxicus)'s Mimefia
Fonti/Vaimes' Harry Potter Mafia.
Scum!miner and scum!Citrus pulled it off in HPM despite scum!Jarizok's lynch D2.
shadow at L-1 in mylo.
anyone still think hes town?
They have irrevocably tied themselves together, and only survived D1 because of a CFD and D2 because I joined the game and made a strong case on Mindreaver. Why are you trying to defend how well they've played when Shadow is moments away from the lynch right now?
Early on, yes, I felt you were posting around page 10-13 when I came into the game in the same meta of what I remembered of Mimefia. That more or less stuck after catching up. As D1 ended and we proceeded on I began to wonder about that as you felt less towny to me.
>Thinks Shadow might flip town
>Still happy to vote in LyLo without reevaluating.
That's not pro town.
damn
talk to me about vaimes' read of you.
you think youre capable of faking whatever townie sass he sees in you?
If you're talking to me, I don't know what you mean. I don't think Vaimes is townreading me for sass.
it was in response to zenzao
Carry on then.
I guess we're just waiting for Vaimes to hammer, right?
Only just now saw this(I well and truly despise the way this forum handles fresh posts). It doesn't matter that they've tied themselves together because they've kept the spotlight off of a third member and can still win even if we lynch through them. D1 was a crapshoot(hence my determination that we lynch someone to help sort out behavior around the flip), they had as much chance of dying as anyone at DayEnd. Also, that's a riot that you're claiming all the fame for lynching Mind considering you had *****-all to say about him in your first wall and only made that move as the Day proceeded, but more power to you.
Yes. I've said twice now I want this game over and done with - how have you missed this? If we successfully hit scum in shadow, huzzah, maybe I'll feel motivated to keep trying and pry victory from the jaws of town ****ups.
Of course he's not talking to you <you ignorant horse's ass>.

I'm sorry for calling for shadow's head for forever and not just killing him immediately when he's at L-1, but I want to look over things one more time.
I'm probably gonna take a self-pity break from mafia if shadow is town here and the scumteam is trolling me into hammering and losing the game.
