GJ, do you realize that I've effectively removed the roleblocker from doing anything if we have one.
You are going to have to back that math up, as if we have a jailkeeper, the scum already know it. The only situation they know if you are possibly telling the truth is if they have a tracker.
@GJ: You say TSTBS but that is literally the strategy Rodemy told me he would be employing that strategy next time he rolled scum, sooo.
What the hell is TSTBS?
Well *****. Looks like i am almost in claim range?
Like, this is becoming a very quick mislynch.
ZOMG's reason for voting me is dumb.
My attack felt scummy? I feel like someone who is pretending to be town would be vauge in their reads and you were super early.
Saying the people you don't know when it was literally me and ag. From my point of view, it was just a neutral statement meant to sound town. I feel like it was said because you didn't think anyone would actually question who you knew, so saying "The people I don't know" was easy to say.
When i questioned you, you mentioned the fact their were people who hadn't even posted yet that you didn't know (yet you said you didn't have reads on them. How could you, they haven't posted.)
at the time, i thought i was the only person who posted before you said "I have no reads on the people i don't know" that you didn't know. I fixed my mistake later, but you didn't fix my mistake and just assumed i was saying i was the only one you didn't know.
Saying people when there is only one person sounds like you are trying to blend in, but not pay attention.
I saw it in one game where a guy said "I am with everyone else in thinking so and so is scum" when in reality nobody even thought he was scum. He was scum.
Same logic here.
I came in strong because i have a big head about just coming out of a game having called 3 out of the 4 scum in one post.
Am i supposed to lay low or i'll be lynched? Like, what is coming on too strong have to do with being scum?

Thank you for choosing
Rodemy Pizza
It’s not the best choice, but it’s a choice nonetheless
Actually the vig should keep his mouth shut, and here is why:
Vig has no shots left- We are in Lylo
Vig has 1 shot left, We lynch scum- we start toMorrow 3T/1S and should win. Shot should be left for an emergency
Vig has 1 shot left, We lynch Town- Vig MUST shoot mafia or we loose, ToMorrow starts 2T/1S
Erm what?
That part of the setup is open. The Vig is 1-shot and there are two scum. We're currently 4 town 2 scum, so even with a mislynch toDay we're on MyLo toMorrow (4 people, 2 town 2 scum no matter what).
All PRs (if there's indeed a Bodyguard) should claim toDay because they'll be conftown, forcing scum to NK one of them in order to keep the PoE down. This also gives us space manouver to lynch them if we doubt their claim/they are counterclaimed, whereas a counterclaim in MyLo puts us in a terrible spot.
Bodyguard, here. I protected GJ last Night. We can see how that went.
I assume everybody else will be claiming VT barring the scum CCing me, so give me a day or so to gather my bearings and do a re-read. Seppel ending the Day so abruptly - and without even waiting for a claim from Rodemy, FFS - really cut analysis short, so I'm going to be doing what I can to determine most likely pairs in my re-read.

Post 101 really doesn't sit well with me. It's not terribly conclusive, but the day 1 quicklynch into MyLo means there isn't much more to work with.
Uhh no he didn't?
#101 is a tad OMGUS-y, but not necessarily scummy I think. Zomg hasn't pinged my radar except for the "Vig should be quiet" part, which looked like an attempt to disencourage PoE at first, but upon a second glance it's probably just a honest mistake.
If Iso's claim is true, that means there's a Mafia Roleblocker. In that case, AG is 99% town, because I don't see a viable scenario where scum know whom the Vig is and don't roleblock him.
Okay, I'm doing four posts in a row because I just noticed something that we all really need to think long and hard about. I don't doubt scum are going to FoS me for "fear-mongering" and try to lynch me for the mafia win, but this needs to be said
This setup actually really sucks for town, because with a confirmed Vig in the game, the setup can be either Vig/Bodyguard/Roleblocker, or Vig/Goon/Vanilla. That means that mafia can safely fakeclaim Bodyguard with literally zero risk. At MyLo, this pretty much seals the game for mafia if Iso is scum.
The worst case scenario is that there is no Bodyguard. Iso saw Ophidia's blatant softclaim, and deliberately avoided NK'ing him on in the hopes that Ophidia would shoot a townie. Fakeclaiming Bodyguard at MyLo all but guarantees a mafia win, unless we No Lynch.
No Lynching forces Iso to protect Ophidia, and forces mafia to shoot him (or his target, but the result is the same) if he's town. Mafia aren't gonna shoot into the vanilla claims, because it narrows down who the mafia are.
This is the only way to hedge against ballsy!scum!Iso worlds. We /could/ try and lynch the other scum toDay, but there's a higher chance we lose by doing that.

You're probably scum for not considering the obvious scenario where "the Vig is likely targeting town."
Thoughts on this?
I don't think nolynching works. If Iso is telling the truth, then there's also a Mafia Roleblocker, which will RB him and scum will kill Ophidia since he's the only 100% conftown, so zero PoE advancement. If Iso is lying about being the Bodyguard, the same will happen and we will have zero ways to discern whether Iso's being truthful or not.
I've already given my thoughts on zomg. About Iso, I wanna know his thought process regarding Seppel claiming Doc (which he would know, as Bodyguard, to be a lie). Ophidia promptly jumped on Seppel. Iso barely commented it at all. There's a clear discrepancy.
What about your reads Vaimes? Why exactly do you think AG is town based on meta? And your opinions on Iso and zomg?
I think AG is town here because I read one of his old scumgames and he was pretty obviously not town. But again, it was maybe a couple years ago, and there's a fair chance he's improved.
I think with the way the game has gone so far, it's totally possible for Iso to be scum and lying.
zomg is eh, just sort of there. I have no strong opinion on him; during my reread I mostly focused on you and Iso.
Iso pushed on Rodemy (town) and Ophidia (town). He gave no real reads on anyone else. There isn't a lot of content from him to track his thought process.
Though Seppel could also be partially blamed for that.
In addition to a link to your most recent scumgame, I also wanted to ask: why did you say this?
The setup still could have been Vig/Goon/Vanilla. There was no Bodyguard claim, yet that's the first PR you asked to claim.
1) I already knew who the vig was
2) I wanted to force the possible Bodyguard gambit to happen on our terms (I wanted the scum to go for it immediately rather than have nobody claim bodyguard or have a bodyguard claim (either real or fake) come out later)
Iso is scum. He's the one I was thinking of when I considered the possibility of scum gambitting. Through sheer randomness, the chance of Iso being on the Goon/Goon mafia team is twice that of him being the bodyguard. I'd put the chance that Iso goes for the gambit in these circumstances above 50%, especially after I called attention to the bodyguard. That means it's more likely for an Iso claiming bodyguard to be scum than it is for him to be the actual bodyguard.
On top of Iso just being more likely to false claim bodyguard than be the actual bodyguard, the night actions line up with scum-Iso. Iso was probably worried that GJ was cozying up to him too much and therefore wanted to NK him. This is very similar to Unseen University Night 1 with scum-Iso calling the NK in on Wessel. Also, Iso's claim of protecting GJ but then being roleblocked doesn't make sense. Why would the scum kill GJ and roleblock Iso? Ophidia claimed vig day 1, and Seppel was drawing attention to himself claiming doctor. Seppel was probably trying to draw the protective role to himself and I could see the mafia roleblock Iso if they intended to off Seppel. But they didn't go after Seppel, they went after GJ. Iso would have us believe the roleblocker just ignored Ophidia and Seppel during that?
About my scum games, I haven't played recently and 88 is probably my most recent scum game. If you just want another game to look through, I was scum in Chime Mafia.

I like your effort in solving the game I'm seeing over your last handful of posts. As for the others, like I said, I need time to perform a re-read. As for my own thoughts, yes - there would have obviously been more from me on Day 1 had Seppel not pre-emptively hammered.

At least, that's the way I'm leaning on the matter.

What about my start of the day posts got the town predisposed against you? Vaimes went down the same line of reasoning I did about you gambitting; just without the night action factors.
For this to have been some elaborate plot against you, I'd have to have known you were the bodyguard day 1. How would I have determined that?

By being the scum Roleblocker? Duh? You would know, knowing Ophidia is the Vig, that there was also a Bodyguard. As scum, you know the setup in that scenario. Additionally, I immediatrly wrote Seppel's Doc nonsense off as a gambit, and with his speedhammer, there was no danger of anyone BUT Seppel getting Vigged - meaning you could safely let him have his shot. Whereas you wanted to ensure your GJ kill was forced through, so naturally, Iso is the Roleblock choice. Hell, I'd Roleblock townIso as scum even if I weren't sure of me being power just because I'm vicious - but, of course, also to set up this scenario where I look bad for claiming.

This is a vig claim with how the game is set up.
You knew Seppel was lying then. Why haven't you said anything when I cased his Doc claim?
If Iso's claim is true, that means there's a Mafia Roleblocker. In that case, AG is 99% town, because I don't see a viable scenario where scum know whom the Vig is and don't roleblock him.

I think the scumteam is Kosa/zomg, but that's heavily reliant on some outdated scum!AG meta.
AG: could you link me to your most recent scumgame? My only knowledge of your scumgame stems from Basic 88, I think it was.

I think AG is town, depending. Still need to see a recent scumgame from him.
Which means there is likely one between Iso and zomg. And then Kosa is probably the partner, since both scum /probably/ aren't on the main bandwagon?
And that's where my head's at atm. You're welcome for the content.
Kosa, please give your thoughts on Iso and zomg.
Iso, please give your thoughts on zomg and Kosa.

The setup still could have been Vig/Goon/Vanilla. There was no Bodyguard claim, yet that's the first PR you asked to claim.
So mafia leaving the Vig alive on purpose is definitely a viable scenario here.
Best of luck.
