Yes, Please lets start there. Kind of sucks I wasnt picked by ghosting I guess he must have targeted KK or one of the others on his list. I'll be back late tonight or tomorrow with more.
I did target you.
@zomg check your PMs/message the mod to be sure. Otherwise there is some foul play going on.
Ah, ok. Mindreaver was saying he thought someone else had a similar unlock to his (mislynch x players) because they didn't want to unlock it either... so I guess it was you but yours wasn't the same as his condition, you just also didn't want to unlock your ability.
Though, now I've got a question for you after/if scarbo claims. I want to see what shakes out between you two first.
We know Shockwave is scum, which makes me think it's much more likely zomgarcwind is town.
I think that leaves us with at least one scum between D_V/Scarbo and INANN/GJ.
I think the more likely combo is D_V/INANN or Scarbo/GJ, but definitely feel that there's guaranteed scum among those four.
I don't like how the wagon yesterday shifted from the possibility of INANN to a town player getting lynched, so am going to start by looking at the reactions of those four players as a start.
For now, pressure on INANN seems good. Vote INANN.
My ability unlocks the first time we lynch a player that is not mafia.
It's active now, since we lynched Cythare D1.
@Ghosting:
I couldn't follow your thought process there at all.
Were you referring to the way the NewName wagon didn't win on D1?
Because we lynched scum yesterDay.

Lol my apologies, I was just remembering INANN'S wagon being a decent contender for the lynch then someone else's wagon gaining traction instead. So it had to be D1 then, just confusing the order of events.
I think I explained this in my original pairings post, but if not I can go in more depth. It boils down mostly to me not thinking they can both be scum, but rather one of the two is due to interactions. On my phone right now so lengthy posting is a little difficult.

Also, time for the promised votal analysis! I made this last night, but nothing's really affected by tom flipping town. First off, the final votecount from yesterday:
So I’m going to go ahead and say it’s almost impossible that all of the scum are on Cythare, so I’m dividng the list into two groups (minus the neutrals):
Group One: INeedANewName, Gentleman Johnny, Huntzilla, zomgarcwind, Mindreaver, Shockwave07
Group Two: Vaimes, shadowlancerx, Cythare (Town), D_V, Silvercrys, Jackrito, Scarbo
I think everyone can agree that, of the six non-neutral players on the wagon, it’s highly unlikely that all four/five scum are in group one (the non-neutral players who voted to lynch Cythare). I personally think we probably have 2 scum on it if there’s four scum, and maybe 3 scum if there’s 5. But I doubt there’s any more than that. Anyway, this means that we also probably similar ratios of town/scum in the second group. Let's take a closer look at the first group:
Group One: INeedANewName, Gentleman Johnny, Huntzilla, zomgarcwind, Mindreaver, Shockwave07
I'm leaning towards Hunt being town due to the double vote ability, and although it's not a given, I do think it's more likely than him being scum. Banking on that, I think one of INeedANewName and Gentleman Johnny could be scum, and one of zomgarcwind, Mindreaver, and Shockwave is scum. Between INANN and GJ, I could see INANN trying to start the wagon, but if he's scum, I don't think GJ is because two scum being on that wagon that close to each other seems unlikely. I could also see INANN being town, and GJ being scum and encouraging the wagon a town player started as scum. Between zomg, Mindreaver, and Shockwave, it's a little harder, but I'm townreading Mindreaver so am between zomg and Shockwave. Neither of them have stuck out to me as particularly town/scum in either regard. On to group two:
Group Two: Vaimes, shadowlancerx, Cythare (Town), D_V, Silvercrys, Jackrito, Scarbo
Assuming the same 2 or 3 ratio, I’m going to stick with my D_V and Scarbo read, and say it’s probably them from this group, as I’m townreading shadow, Cythare was town, Silvercrys is playing his town game and also hasn’t done anything scummy, and Jackrito’s responses have read as fairly town to me although I haven’t agreed with 100% of what he’s saying. For the sake of not tunneling, I don't think Scarbo/D_V are scum together, but that one of them is likely to be scum.
With all of that said, I think we absolutely have scum bewteen: D_V/Scarbo, INANN/GJ, and Shockwave/zomgarcwind. I'm willing to support any of those wagons, in that order.
Also, based on the votes that weren't on Cythare, and going realllly deep:
I feel like D_V wanted to get off the Cythare wagon because he knew it was town and didn’t want to associate with a town wagon. He was moving his vote around a bit at the end and I think this was too move the attention away from his position on the Cythare wagon.
If D_V is scum, I don’t think Silver would also be scum and vote right after D_V did. Similarly, I don’t think Vaimes and shadowlancer can be scum together, for them both to hop on INeedANewName like that would be fairly blatant.
Scarbo not being on Cythare or INeedANewName at the end of the day is certainly interesting. Same with Jackrito on Shockwave.
Going to reread based on these views and post some further analysis — this is mostly votal analysis (which I actually think is super useful) mixed with the past day’s behaviour. But definitely a good place to start for behavioural analysis I think.
First few posts are about getting banned and the emotional toll it's taken.
Post 537 - First post of substance. He throws shade at Tom for not "reading the same game" in regards to Tom not having any concrete scum reads. Tom has just voted shadow. Then pivots to DV, saying "what has he done that is remotely townie?". Then says that if he was a double voter he'd "go to tom", which I'm guessing means he'd vote him as well as DV? Since he does vote DV in this post. Then mentions proph is the towniest person here.
Post 548 - Tom says DV is doing DVish things and that he's confident of his read. INNN responds that he doubts Tom's ability to read DV. Actively tries to get Ghosting killed.
Post 586 - Tells Kosa that he's making him rethink his DV stance, although he's skeptical of Kosa's self-awareness. He then goes into blaming himself for losses unprompted, which was strange. Who/What is that appeal for exactly?
Post 586 - One post later revotes DV. Because DV is (correctly iMO) pointing out that Kosa's analysis of the DV wagon does include some favorable language toward the twqo neutral votes on it.
Post 599 - Questioning Huntzilla's reads on Scarbo/Zomg (Hunt thinks they are town at this point).
Post 637 - GJ asks him specifically about the group: Kosa/Ghosting/Cythare. His response is to evade the question entirely because he doesn't believe in that kind of binary thinking. It's worth it to note, that we know 2/3 of the alignment's now. So that group was Town/Town/Nuetral(?). A scum player probably has a strong motivation to just answer this, I can't see any reason scum would want to evade it.
Post 690 - DV was right all along and Mindreaver might be scum. Then a bunch of shade thrown my way for IIOA. I think it's interesting that INNN is rethinking DV, who has really been his top suspect.
Post 694 - Responding to Silver in regards to my alignment. Silver is thinking I'm town, based partially on my trigger breadcrumb. INNN is saying he'll take a look based on my vote on vaimes.
Post 695 - Tom baits him by saying "or keeping throwing inexplicable shade at townreads and get lynched. thats fine too.". INNN responds but there isn't much here. He basically defends his DV read, but not his read on me (which as you recall was based on DV's read of me). This is an inconsistency I find troubling.
Post 697 - Doesn't like making associations pre-flip. He's "Looking at MR right now".
Post 699 - Sarcastically admits to being scum in response to Silver's post.
Post 703 - Silver says that he isn't defending himself very well (refering to 699). "defend myself against what exactly?" ... "admittedly I am having trouble with interpreting your extremely poor play." seems to be the best argument he can muster.
Post 706 - Wants me lynched again.
Post 711 - Silver notes that INNN has only talked to 4 people all game. His response is that he's a replacement and that the player list probably isn't much different. If Silver wanted him to talk to more people, he could have just said that. To some degree, I can understand the sentiment. My problem at this point, is that his list of people he's talked to so far are: Silver/Mindreaver/DV/KosaKosa/Tom. He's scumread every single one, with the possible exception of Silver (who is just bad apparently). I'm town reading DV, I know I'm town, and Tom/Kosa have flipped town. Now, Silver I'm not sure of. But I have to say, if INNN isn't informed scum, his reads thus far have been just horrible.
Post 779 - Goes after shadow, because shadow says he is becoming more and more convinced about INNN's scuminess after re-reading. INNN's defense is to say the votes on him were for terrible reasons (or no reasons, from his perspective), and to say "hint: Disliking someones play-style does not make them scum no matter how much you will it." which is probably not the strongest case.
Post 787 - Silver, do you think I'm scum?
Post 790 - Silver, why don't you have a read on me that isn't wishy washy? Is my vote on DV fair?
Post 792 - He stopped reading because the deadline was looming. Uh, what? That's definitely not when I decided to stop reading/posting. He's in favor of a lynch.
Post 803 - After Tom asks him if he's interested in a Cythere lynch, he votes. No reasons given. I think this was somewhat understandable, since INNN was a possible lynch candidate at the time. But I have to give a small pause here, because Cythere and Tom both flipped town, and INNN was on reord as not trusting Tom.
Post 813 - Against no lynch, and responds to Scarbo as such.
Post 816 - Silver says he re-read INN and came up with him as town. INNN want's to know what specifically made him think so. Doesn't follow up.
Post 948 - Shadow says that if the end of day wagon ends up flipping town, that we should lynch the wagon right before it. INNN goes after this idea pretty hard. It's bad play, you're telling scum wht to do. The thing that isn't really mentioned is that shadow is specifically talking about killing INNN or possibly Shockwave here.
Post 986 - Scum are setting him up for a mislynch. Say's he's wrong about DV. Is voting Cythere for survival (duh), would vote Shockwave (I assume also for survival), and thinks scum is in: Mindreaver/Hunt/Zomg/Vaimes. I have to say that these reads seem really wrong again, with the exception of Vaimes who I am somewhat neutral on.
Post 989 - INNN: DV isn't scum, just bad town. DV: I don't feel like being insulted by somebody who is not even trying to catch scum. INNN: That's OMGUS.
Post 1126 - This is the scummiest post in the PBPA. Direct appeal to everyone that Tom dying was bad for town (why are people happy???), and then into all this "the game might be unwinnable" whinging. What is the purpose of this, other than an emotional appeal? I don't see anything new here.
Post 1127 - "wait whut I'm gonna look at whoever said they were glad tom died closer I think like it might be alignment indicative in some way".
Post 1163 - "Just as fyi it was vaimes ghosting and reaver." Which I believe was debunked. I was certainly pleased Tom was gone, because KNOWING he's town VS an unreadable mess, is a better night kill than somebody else I am getting a good read on. In any case, I'm still waiting for what this means and why it's important
So here is where I Vote INeedANewName
Even if all of that was coming from town, he's adept at making groups that I know to be mostly (80% or higher) town, and scumreading them. Even after prompting I can see a pattern of not engaging most of the playerbase, outside known and suspected town players. I do think he has done some town-like things, like revisit DV, and say he'd vote for Shock. But those were easy positions that didn't require anything else.
I am sorely tempted to turn this into a full mass claim. In a PR game this heavy, and with a ton of information, I really think we can leverage this until the end, and would rather not rely on this at LyoL.
I am sorely tempted to turn this into a full mass claim. In a PR game this heavy, and with a ton of information, I really think we can leverage this until the end, and would rather not rely on this at LyoL.
I know that seems like the way to go, but can we wait until Scarbo claims before we decide to definitely go down the mass-claim road. I really think Shadow has something on him and he knows it and is trying to bull***** his way out of it.
This^
If he doesn't know what I know, he doesn't know how to lie best, and that makes him catchable in that lie.
I'm pretty sure INANN is scum as well with what I know, but I won't let scarbo get out of this scott free. He needs to answer my question. Vote Scarbo
I am sorely tempted to turn this into a full mass claim. In a PR game this heavy, and with a ton of information, I really think we can leverage this until the end, and would rather not rely on this at LyoL.
I'm willing to claim, but I'd like to wait until I can use what I found out to best catch scum.
yeah no that's absolutely not happening unless I'm at L-2
Vote Scarbo
Im thinking scum was Shock, INAN, and Scarbo. I would say out of the two left (INAN and Scarbo) that Scarbo is definitely running things and INAN will fall apart once he is done. Lets take scarbo to L-2 to get his claim, then we can press other wagons before making a selection for the day but we need to get this claim out of him.
I am Akemi Homura, time stopper. I can pick two players to force anything that would affect one of them to affect the other and vice versa (bus driver). I unlocked my latent when shockwave (Kazuo Kiriyama) died. It would have also triggered when Kyoko Sekino or Shoutarou Kaneda died. With my latent I can redirect a player's target to someone else. Night 1 I took no action. Last Night I redirected Proph to GJ.
Let's refrain from commenting on claims until the massclaim ends.
Agreed, also Mod: Newname hasn't posted in 6 days, would like prod on him. If newname replaces out, I would rather just lynch him than deal with a replacement. Modkill preferred, but we will cross that bridge when we get there.
Also, confirming I only lost my actual ability, and my latent ability is strictly better so zero ****s given.
In the interest of keeping the game moving, do we want to skip over INANN for the moment, I know it's not ideal, but I'm basically assuming he's scum at this point regardless of what he claims.
Looks like we're about to do a lot of waiting around then.
Feel free to post an ISO on a scum read, or wait. Frankly, I feel like waiting. I don't know why I have so many lock town reads, but I am feeling lazy.
I'll go ahead and claim while we wait since my role is basically fully known at this point anyway.
Role Name: The Puppet Master (from Ghost in the Shell! )

Latent Trigger: Pre-game it was unlocked because my character's perfect.
Latent Ability/Time and Place Used: I used it night one, we already know this and went over it. I have not used it since then, although I probably will tonight because I'm sure scum want me dead at some point (although maybe not, who knows). It redirects any abilities directed at me to a player of my choice.
@GJ: If it makes you feel any better, I think you're like maybe lean scum at this point? I've been scumreading you less and INANN/Scarbo more, but you're still on my radar. Not that I really care what happens besides me winning and seeing if my reads are right at all.
Why so many people are lock towning me. I do thank the mafia for taking away any Kosa paranoia I might have had.
this is not a bad question
I mean. Shockwave roleblocked him. And claimed he used Jailer instead. That's my reason, anyway.
Could it be some elaborate ruse? Sure. But considering I already had a town read on him, I doubt it. If we somehow both survive until lylo maybe I'll reconsider.

oh wow yeah that's... pretty good confirmation. sorry I nilla'd you, GJ, but after Proph said he was going after INANN I decided to step in. (we'll talk about this after the claims)

Mafia Stats 2016-2017:

Could it be some elaborate ruse? Sure. But considering I already had a town read on him, I doubt it. If we somehow both survive until lylo maybe I'll reconsider.
Indeed you are correct, thanks.
Forgot about this, but it definitely makes it more likely GJ's town.

oh wow yeah that's... pretty good confirmation. sorry I nilla'd you, GJ, but after Proph said he was going after INANN I decided to step in. (we'll talk about this after the claims)
