and hes still probably neutral.
probably.
i do like the semi cop check of making proph vanillize him though.
I would prefer to not have Proph target me because my latent is not factional, only the one that unlocks abilities is.
So if he tries to target me, I'm just going to activate it, and it will be a big waste of time for everyone involved. D_V will not be pleased with the result.
I don't want to go into further detail and purposely haven't, so would prefer to leave it at that.
It's not even efficient for Proph's win condition to target me.
I personally do not really want to target Ghosting since I believe that his role is basically a mirror of mine (hosts love symmetry) and it won't advance my win con. However, I am but a tool of the town, and as such I will comply with their wishes unless anyone has a better suggestion.
I stand by what I said earlier, target the second most scummy person post lynch (second biggest wagon) if the lynchee flips town, or target probable allies is the lynchee flips scum.
Right now the main reason I'm stuck on mechanics is because I've been feeling disconnected from the game and trying to keep something going to avoid inactivity.
Right now I think the correct play is to push through the Cythare wagon. I'm uncertain on it, as I see no reason scum would have such a post restriction, but after STMU 4 I get a feeling that it could be faked by a good enough player. Rather not risk it.
And I'm sure as hell not going for no Chinese ******* fire drill! Got bad enough taste from the last time I attempted it on MU with Ace Attorney mafia there.
ghosting, you dont really get to keep secrets.
if you have a good reason why we shouldnt (do a thing that shouldnt effect you but prove you are telling the truth) youd better reveal it.
I'm starting to wonder if ghosting is what he claimed after that proph thing, but hes playing it so badly its mind boggling to me, but IDK what's going on anymore.
IDK why ghosting thinks I can't target him we will see though.
This Cythare wagon is yucky and feels more like a policy/shrug lynch than anything else. I get the feeling that if Cythare were actually here, the wagon wouldn't even have reached L-2.
For an MTGS game, it sprung up incredibly fast. Like, all in the span of one page. Not only is it being led by someone I want dead, but they were super eager to make that vote when prompted.
Sorenslot and Cythare are 99% not knowingly aligned. In no universe has Sorenslot been townier than Cythare.
We had good competing wagons. Don't ruin it with a CFD.

I would never do this. Unless your plan is game breaking telling scum what you're gonna do is just poor play. And your plan is bad on it's face scummy (how you perceive a player) doesn't mean scum (an affiliation in the game). If you're gonna go after the scummiest person tomorrow anyways why bother wasting information gathering roles on them at night?
And just because you dislike someones character does not make them evil shadow. Your plan assumes that town has made it's choices logically and with reason. Simply reading through the recent pages. There was extremely poor logic for my wagon forming. But it happened anyways cuz town does insane things.

Don't really like that response to "can I interest you in a Cythare lynch". That said, I've been 100% AWOL due to RL things, so I don't really mind being the lynch. I'm sure the rest of you can soldier on without me.
I'm Watashi from The Tatami Galaxy. I'm currently vanilla, and I unlock my latent ability if I comply completely with a self-inflicted posting restriction on the same day that one of these players dies:
-Akira Kaburagi Regendorf
-Kazuo Kiriyama
-Kyoko Sekino
I don't have to use the posting restriction otherwise. It's also part of why I was interested in lynching D_V over Kosa, as he claimed one of the three people that would unlock my ability.

A better word in this scenario would have been persona, you're personal character I don't care about, but the game character, the persona you put forth is my issue, and I don't think you're evil, I think you're scum. It doesn't seem to matter much anymore as you've passed the hot seat to someone else.
And proph openly stated that he would use his ability based on the votes of the town. I voted for a plan, and if you won't extrapolate on what other benefits the plan I put forward might have then I'm not going to state them for you.

I am going to ask you the exact same thing I asked Rhand when I caught him in AA for min posting:
Since you are claiming town and busy, how does scumCythare post differently than you did in these exact circumstances?
Ghosting claimed neutral. I have no idea why every other player including Proph wasn't pushing for him to reveal his WC. This is EXACTLY what I mean when I talk about townies being too accommodating to neutrals.

My main reason for originally not sharing as much is because the players pushing for more information were my top scum reads. If town doesn't feel comfortable not knowing parts of my role even after I've proven I do indeed unlock abilities with no limits, then sure, I'll share more. As of right now, it benefits both myself and town by not giving away all information.
In all honesty though, it's pretty obvious what my win con is lol. It almost doesn't need to be said.
and if what you're trying to purport to be your win-con is what I'm thinking, then yeah you've definitely slipped
care to point out the slip, cause I'm not seeing it.
If his win con is have all living players secondary abilities active, then what's causing the issue? I also don't see scum having an ability like that, so if its proven, it's likely he's truly neutral.
The reason scum with that ability makes no sense it because:
-he could activate all his scum buddies abilities off the bat, making the game lopsided, and
-no way would he have claimed it as scum
It is pretty funny to me that the people wanting me lynched have no issue with the anti-town neutral at all.
1). I actually said I felt slightly bad, but would almost rather lynch Proph over you.
2). The people who want to lynch you think you are lying, not that you are actually neutral.
So, in this world, where Ghosting is scum(?) who lied about being the second neutral, why do you people thing he did that? I mean, he's now in the position of having to prove it. Entirely of his own making. Quite a bluff on Day 1, no? And if his ability does work tonight? Verified completely. What then? Scum!Ghosting would have literally just shut the **** up about it and unlocked his team. Unless we think Ghosting is so bad (good?) that this was a better play, to now be ultra deep scum, hiding in plain sight? I mean, if we get down to the wire and he's still here, we just murder him. Like, if everyone says "yup, no more things to unlock, why is Ghosting still here..." we just lynch him.
I don't see how a Scum!Ghosting would endgame if this was all lies. Doesn't seem possible.

1) Cythare is actually town and the list of players there are also town. Basically his lynch confirms them as town, because a town member gaining power after a scum lynch is mechanically flawed and would be unfair to a scum team that would already be hurting.
2) Cythare is scum and this doesn't matter. Either it's a lie or it could be a list of his scumbuddies names, because scum gaining power after a scum lynch makes sense.

I think you're assuming too much here. In a vacuum your logic makes sense, but we don't know how the scum are balanced as well.
This brings us back to the issue of focusing too much on the game mechanics and not on the interactions of the game itself. I solidly think a NewName lynch will give us more valuble information than a Cyth lynch currently, especially since any assumed information can be dangerous if incorrect.

Since you are claiming town and busy, how does scumCythare post differently than you did in these exact circumstances?
In general, scumCythare is going to be more active regardless of the circumstances - I enjoy playing scum (or neutral) way more than I enjoy playing town, so I'm more likely to remember to carve out time when other things are happening and put in more effort.
That said, me getting lynched isn't the worst for town, since I'm a loose thread and the least active.

Your assessment of this is extremely basic. I'd expect at least one of the people on my list to be town, but I'd also expect at least one to be scum. I see the logic that you're using here, but if you think I'm scum, why would I just out my buddies' names?
Also, in general, I'm extremely wary of any assumption that 3 other players can be towncleared after one player's flip based on trigger conditions. I'd be surprised if I was the only player with a trigger like this, and there is no reason to modgame to this degree.
There's no reason at all that one of those names can't be scum if Cyth is town.
In fact, I'd bet quite a lot that at least one is if Cythare is town.
Because otherwise the mods would be asking Cyth to push town lynches on purpose.
If two are town and one is scum and scum also get an ability when one of them is lynched then no balance is broken.
Especially when we don't know what ability Cyth gets. It could be like a one-shot message ability or something that won't even help us much.
I doubt that they are all town or all scum regardless of Cythare's alignment. So lynching him doesn't really tell us anything new. Except that D_V is in a mod-list with two other players and at least one is probably scum and at least one is probably town.
Mod gaming aside, Cythare lynch is bad.
Policy lynch Shockwave and have done with it.
I'll be here for EoD
And I'll lynch NewName over Cythare if I have to.

What happens to your posting restriction...
I forgot about it so I can't unlock my ability today.
Oh, also point of clarification, when I said "same day that one of these players dies", it's actually the same day/night cycle. My ability unlocks when one of the players dies regardless of how they died as long as I adhered to the posting restriction during the corresponding Day.
I guess it doesn't matter, though, if I'm being lynched or the lynched player isn't one of the three in my list.
I felt decent about the response, and then you imploded.
I'm pushing true vanilla at this stage. I have other fish to fry, and I don't feel like turning over new rocks. I am not as comfortable as I was yesterday, but I don't feel like trying to analyze another wagon so I will vote
Cythare
Filthy Neutral
No other options. The neutral is basically the safe "I don't give a ****" lynch/Cythare is town.
