*inserts comment about me rolling basically all town this year in completed games except this game*
Ditto. I totes envy Shock's randomness guardian angel, it's uncanny.
Although at this point it's probably doing him worse than not. I'm getting a really demotivated vibe from him across the latest games since he's always the bad guy around lawl.
Yeah GJ, that's a scum claim.
He was just saying in TF2 post game he's been scum in 3/4 completed games and now he's at 4/5.
He's probably trying to avoid spew by not posting.
Finished my reread but it didn't really change my thoughts.
And just about everyone is plausible buddies with Shock as far as I can tell.
Since he was already thinking he was going to be lynched he probably told them to bus.
Hmm, I think it's possible that Kosa is heavy bussing and trying to earn town credit. I want to take a long hard look at him tomorrow, because shock is just rolling over and dying here; almost like he doesn't want to force KK to claim.
I don't imagine people are going to care much about prolonging this Day with a scumclaim on the table. I /guess/ ISO Shock for spew before the mafia get another kill?
I'm kind of selfish and want us to transition into Night soon-ish because it's my birthday tomorrow and would rather not have to worry about this game during that time.
Remarks for posterity in case I end up dead overNight:
1) There's a very high probability that the scumteam has a rolecop. If they do, it's possible that [REDACTED] ends up dead instead of me, in which case I'll probably hunt GJ down to the corners of the Earth. Possibly with a vigshot. Possibly.
2) I'm torn the most on GJ, D_V (although I'm willing to give more value to Tom's read of him) and shadow. Of those, if I had to choose someone to scrutinize harder, would definitely be GJ, as he's the one that would better help us solve the game. You know, for science.
3) Don't let Huntz skim the game by just because he's a double-voter. That's not a solid reason to be read as conftown and if he loses that vote somehow in the lategame, everybody will scramble and panic. So don't.
Well, I don't know that I am actually going to get much more out of today with that scumclaim on the table. Geez. Sorry guys, I thought there might be some value in waiting.

I'm town, and if you shoot me, I am nominating you for town LVP.
@Shadow: Kosa was basically screaming town roleblocker after I was making a point of the scum targeting me.
Well, I don't know that I am actually going to get much more out of today with that scumclaim on the table. Geez. Sorry guys, I thought there might be some value in waiting.
Are you telling me that Shock is the only one you are scum reading, or were you planning on making a case on another player you had a bead on?
@Shadow: Kosa was basically screaming town roleblocker after I was making a point of the scum targeting me.
Yes, or he knew that shock roleblocked you and was creating a scenario where shock as a role blocker might be town believable and that didn't pan out.
I do agree that town blocker KK is more likely, but I plan to take a closer look either way.

Frankly, I don't even know why he claimed roleblock. Jailkeeper admittedly wasn't something that came to my mind, but like Proph was hinting at, why did Shock take a dive when he could have just faked a peek. Hell, he didn't even have to change his claim, just which shot he used.
Unless they planned on Shock taking a dive (which I think is a touch ridiculous), Kosa is pretty lock town. Why he decided to roleblock me is beyond my comprehension, but eh. 1 down, 3 to go.

Are you telling me that Shock is the only one you are scum reading, or were you planning on making a case on another player you had a bead on?
No, I wanted to actually get to tom's interactions, but I don't see a point today. Is there literally anything I could find that would make us change our mind to somebody like silver over shockwave? I thought yesterday that maybe it was worth discussing, and see if shock really was the best we could do, but I'll take the confirmed scumkill and a win over a "maybe this guy is shady" any day.

You could still Iso someone. I did two in a matter of days and got shock - scum, and jack - town. Read someone else, but looking for town interactions on the first day doesn't do much. They either thought tom had a strong ability, or went for the strongest player not being protected.
No, no one you can put up would be picked over shock. But get the fricken gears turning.
If I die, no one should be leaving Mindreaver off the radar.
@Proph: I actually don't mind if you vanillize me. My latent ability is a strictly better version of my actual ability. I can't speak for anyone else, but as long as your vanillify doesn't effect the latent, I don't care.

I don't disagree. That said, if somebody wants to flip a neutral over the night, I wouldn't object. I am feeling very nervous that my PoE is closing too quickly. Vaimes isn't really being scum read by me, I just shoehorned him in because I am running out of players to put in any potential scum team. Kosa could be pulling one over our heads, but I still think that is incredibly unlikely.
I don't think we are going to get much more today that we won't get tomorrow. I'd like to go ahead and hammer, does anyone have any serious objections? I don't think the people who have been lurking are going to suddenly come out of the woodwork.
After the discovering the corpse, people soon started to head back towards the lobby the commence the discussion. After eating the breakfast in silence, one of you breaks the silence.

"That's a logical statement. However, I didn't do it. Trust me."
"How? We don't even know who you are!"
"I'm Inaho Kaizuka. And you should trust me."
Suddenly the discussion some to an end when someone else from the crowd shouts:
"Look out, he has a gun!"
With a swift movement the young man pulls out his gun and point it at the crowd.
And then a single 'click' echoed, accompanied with the words:
"Drop the gun. Now."
The young man attempted to make a swift turn to face the person behind him, but before he could finish his movement a single 'bang' resounded in the lobby.
A single shot to the forehead and the young man slumped to the floor before he managed to see the face of the person who shot him.

Also modgaming Bur setups is kind of treading down a dark path
Yet another morning after another restless night. People are anxiously waiting for everyone to gather and hoping for the best.
But like last night, once again you soon notice that one of you have gone missing. You realise rather quickly that Kosakosa is missing and rush towards to his room, only to find what you feared.
Splattered all over the room there is oil, blood, flesh, cybernetic body parts... and you can no longer tell whether that is even a corpse or not.
The ones with weaker stomachs leave the room and the rest stay to check out the body and Kosa's belongings. It was quite easy to figure out his true identity:
Town Inventor - Dr. Desty Nova (Gunnm/Battle Angel Alita)
"Nice, isn't it? She's going to be tonight's experiment"
They say there's a fine line between genius and insanity. Whoever said that had not met you.
You are Doctor Desty Nova, embodiment of both genius and insanity. A long time ago, you used to be a Tipharean scientist but went rogue after some small disagreements on working ethics. Those Tipharean's don't know what they lost when they forbade you from mindlessly slaughtering people for the sake of science.
Nowadays, you are solely focused on your study of Karmatron Dynamics, which aims to find out the all the patterns in human behaviour based on their memories, bodies, social statuses and whatnot. And there's nothing that will stop you from finishing your study. Not Tiphareans, not Gally/Alita and most certainly not this madman on whose mansion you are currently.
You have the following abilities:
Mad Scientist's Inventions: Target a player at night to give them one of your prototypes. Since you have only one of each prototype, you can't give additional copies of each prototype.
Bio-chip Scanner: Quote any one statement made by any player. You will scan that player's bio-chip in their head to figure out if that player was being honest or not.
Neurotoxin-flavoured Pudding: Target another player at night to give them the delicious looking neurotoxin-flavoured pudding. They can't resist eating it and will die a horrible death after finishing it.
Portable High-pressure Water Barrier: Target another player to surround them with a portable high-pressure water barrier. While no one can enter the barrier, your target neither can leave the barrier and hence can't perform any actions tonight.
You win the game when there are no villainous people hindering your study.
You unlock your latent abilities when the day ends with no lynch.
One thing was sure: your captors are still present and show no signs of giving up.
The game is still on.
With 13 alive, it's 7 to lynch. The deadline is set on Wednesday 2nd of November.
Mind, I would appreciate if you full claim, rather than wait for me to push a case.
Vanilla Town.
My trigger activates after a town member is lynched, and there have already been X other town lynched.
Obviously, I'd rather not share X. And it's hella shady, since it's based on mislynches. I suspect that zomg has been bread-crumbing a similar trigger most of the game as well
Im Re-reading a few people tonight, Im glad we got scum but some of todays actions were extremely suspect...
I'm very interested to hear what you meant by this.
I think if we combine our first and second lynches together and dig through that info we can find the entire scum team. I'll get on it sometime this week I was going to do it over the night phase but then I got lazy and wanted to use the NK as additional Info.
Uhh that Mindreaver fold for no reason. I don't like that.
I have news from the night, I need claims from a couple of people before I share it, because otherwise we will have a problem. Let's start with scarbo.
@GJ:
You got vanillafied?
Does that mean you didn't get my present?
I'm gonna be really bummed if you didn't get it.
I *think* Shadow said he didn't want to unlock his ability? I can't promise that though because I didn't go back to look either.
Shock's wagon tells us little because he basically rolled over. The whole scum team could be on that wagon (though it's not likely, I suppose.)
Actually, here, I'll do the wagons up real fast just because (I have time and I like looking at wagons):
Not Voting (5) - Mindreaver, Ghosting, Jackrito, INeedANewName, Silvercrys3467
Here's what I did. I'm ignoring only Huntzilla the double voter, GJ because Shockwave roleblocked him, and zomg for the rule 5 nonsense. And Proph. Everyone else is on the table (though personally I doubt it's Ghosting, Mindreaver, or Vaimes).
Basically, all of the scumspects that were on Cyth's wagon are not voting for Shockwave. In fact, none of them were voting for anyone at EoD2. That's NewName/Mindreaver/Ghosting. Which makes this a really bad votal for analysis. But at least one of them is probably scum. My money is on NewName.
The scumspects on Shockwave's wagon D2 (plausibly bussing) are D_V/scarbo/shadow.
Jackrito hasn't been on any major wagon at EoD yet. Could be scum. Though, I guess he was on Shock like #4 at EoD1 before we moved back to NewName.
So, I'm looking at a PoE of... [NewName/scarbo/shadow/D_V/Jackrito] + Ghosting/Mindreaver ~maybe and Vaimes at like. Very small chance of being scum.
When I get some more time I'll look at voting context and interactions to verify.
Oh, Vaimes says D_V is town? 100%? Hrm.
Rest of my PoE stands.
Assuming he's not lying, there's almost always at least one scum in shadow/scarbo.
But I kind of want to lynch NewName today.
Because I don't think there is a world where he's town based on these wagons.
Unless the team is exactly [scarbo/Jackrito/shadow], which doesn't seem super likely.
(Or I'm wrong about someone in Vaimes/Mindreaver/Ghosting.)
Or it could be Huntz, I guess. But he's a double voter and I'm not quite ready to entertain that yet.
Yes, Please lets start there. Kind of sucks I wasnt picked by ghosting I guess he must have targeted KK or one of the others on his list. I'll be back late tonight or tomorrow with more.
@silver
I hinted at not wanting my ability condition met earlier because it required a specific person to die. That person was Arsene Lupin III, so by day two it didn't matter because it unlocked anyway, hence why I told ghosting not to target me, it was a waste of his time.
Considering your PoE on scum between me/scarbo, I used my latent ability and am pretty confident that scarbo is scum (with a slight possibility of someone else to be revealed/questioned once I've heard from scarbo), hence why I want a claim from him.
The GJ way path to no lynching:
Ditto. I totes envy Shock's randomness guardian angel, it's uncanny.

3) Don't let Huntz skim the game by just because he's a double-voter. That's not a solid reason to be read as conftown and if he loses that vote somehow in the lategame, everybody will scramble and panic. So don't.
I think that sums it all up pretty decently.

Vote Shockwave.

Didn't you say we would have a problem if Proph sprayed his vanilla on you or something?
@ModTogs:
I think that is eight on Shockwave. Could you verify the vote count please?
Also, I think Vaimes wanted to look at Shockwave interactions before the flip and NewName just got back from V/LA. But this is fine I guess.
I wish I had some shattering new insight to the game state, but I don't really.
Shockwave has been Lynched. It is now twilight.
Edit: Day will end after Bur finishes cooking his curry and posts Day end flavor. Until then, feel free to discuss.
YOU STARTLED THE GENTLEMAN
The GJ way path to no lynching:
I can sit them if it wasn't clear before.
But it doesn't matter now.
Resolved itself, so eh.
The GJ way path to no lynching:
It comes down to, if the town wants him to either hit me or INNN, and he thinks INNN is town, he can fire at me. No problem
Me: "BTW, love the claim proph, but if you spray that vanilla jizz over here, we're gonna have a problem."
Sorry, that wasn't literal. I just thought the whole characterization of Proph spraying vanilla all over somebody was ridiculous.

I did target you.
Mafia Stats 2016-2017:
Town: 1-0 | Scum: 2-0 | Neutral: 1-1
I hinted at not wanting my ability condition met earlier because it required a specific person to die. That person was Arsene Lupin III, so by day two it didn't matter because it unlocked anyway, hence why I told ghosting not to target me, it was a waste of his time.
Considering your PoE on scum between me/scarbo, I used my latent ability and am pretty confident that scarbo is scum (with a slight possibility of someone else to be revealed/questioned once I've heard from scarbo), hence why I want a claim from him.
