Because I've brought up a point worth considering? If you disagree state some reasons. You know, play the game. Sitting around doing nothing but berating people for trying while offering nothing up but statements that are akin to "Tom makes me happy in the pants so he's definitely town" don't really help things. With a dead mason partner you're the most confirmed person in the room but you seem content on acting nothing like it.
H_T, that's super thin and I'm starting to think you're just trying to break the towncircle.
Like. The game is mechanically locked right now. We lynch D_V, then you, then KoD, then CFC. That kills the scum team literally 100% of the time regardless of how many scum are left.
He just reversed his reads on half of the town circle (me, Cyth, tom) and then hammered tom. That's the equivalent of scum claiming and spewing CFC clear as far as I'm concerned.
Like. I guess I'm not too concerned with the order since the game is mechanically locked. But we lynch those four players and win the game. That's the plan.
The game is locked D_V. I'm town, Kosa is town, Wheat is town, Cyth is town. CFC needs to be lynched for PoE. You and H_T aren't likely aligned so when one of you dies the other is soft clear. I've been saying this for irl days now. I don't care which of you gets lynched first because the game is locked with Zinger and KJ dead since KJ flip confirms Wheat.
The only reason to fight this is if you think there's an extra kill floating around that will get pointed at the town block and cost us a mislynch or if you're scum because it loses you the game.

I disagree and think there are scum members else where. There is an extra kill around. I'm pretty convinced of an SK and the fact that you keep sweeping that under the rug/bringing it up only to fling dirt at me is super suspect.
The fact is you have two outside lynches of KoD or Chandra. And one of them is definitely the opposite of the other. The fact that Tom suspected KoD while voting Chandra was sorta a joke. I'm pretty convinced Tom is just messing with me at this point.
Also at this point Cynth has become Suspect to me again.
Really the only confirmed town players to me is Wheat and myself(Because I know my PM). This game is a lot harder than you are giving it credit for. I've even played a role like Kosa and been scum before so that isn't a lock at all.
The fact that you push the narrative of it "Being locked" scares me quite a bit.
@ Cynth what happens if I target you with my ability is it good?
Since this game's got activity going as of a few minutes before this post, I'm posting the vote count and lynch scene separately. The game is currently in twilight. Players may continue to post until the lynch scene if they wish.

* Cythare cocks her head at D_V and looks at him quizzically, then rolls a white ball towards him, then takes it away, then rolls a black ball towards him, then repeats this process a few times. *

like, you gave reasons but none of them were, you know, reasons to scumread someone.

Sigh. I'm not flinging dirt at you for thinking there's an SK. My problem is you think it's me and I know I'm not. And there isn't room in the set-up for one if it's not me. Like. Even if it was just me/mongoose with vigs. That's like eight kills in the first three days. But here. I won't vig, since it will cost us a mislynch, and that way the kills are always controlled by the town.
The fact is you have two outside lynches of KoD or Chandra. And one of them is definitely the opposite of the other. The fact that Tom suspected KoD while voting Chandra was sorta a joke. I'm pretty convinced Tom is just messing with me at this point.
I've been saying you or H_T scum flip clears the other for, like, ever. If H_T is scum his partner is KoD or CFC, and if it's you your partner is CFC or maybe KoD. That's why I said I'd rather lynch you or H_T toDay, but wanted CFC over tom because CFC was actually in the PoE. Then you went and hammered tom for only you know what reason.
Also at this point Cynth has become Suspect to me again.
Why? You don't get to just break the towncircle and start considering lynches on consensus townreads without a good reason.
Really the only confirmed town players to me is Wheat and myself(Because I know my PM). This game is a lot harder than you are giving it credit for. I've even played a role like Kosa and been scum before so that isn't a lock at all.

Scum team has to use their kills or they lose to the PoE. Even if it's Kosa. If they don't kill Kosa after Wheat, they kill me or someone in the PoE and make our job easier and themselves more suspicious. Kosa goes to F3 or gets NK'd as far as I'm concerned. There's no reason to lynch him before F3.
Like. Cyth can't be night killed so she automatically goes to F3 in all cases.
Wait. Did I miscount or something?
7 town, 2 scum.
D) tom lynch, flips town (presumably)
[6 town/2 scum]
N) wheat dies
[5 town, 2 scum]
D) lynch CFC flips town (assumption)
[4 town, two scum]
N) Kosa dies
[3 town, 2 scum]
D) Lylo.
Hrm. I went back and rechecked my math, but. I can't see what I figured wrong. Clearly I was mistaken though. We have two lynches remaining to hit scum, and then find their partner in F3. My bad.
This isn't good, Q thinks furtively to himself as he sits in the Continuum. It was the one place She couldn't get to.
The only things he could say for certain were that the "Prophet" shouldn't have been able to find the USS Event Horizon after he'd so carefully hidden it away, and that the tachyon interference around the station was no coincidence. But what was its significance? It was the result of temporal distortion. It was involved in cloaking devices. And it could interfere with sufficiently powerful beings' ability to see through time. Certainly, it kept (*) from finding the Event Horizon, yet there had to have been something more...
But what?
A tingle crosses the back of Q's mind. The mortals had selected another sacrifice to the altar of insanity the Prophet was erecting.
With a flash of light, Q arrives on the station, and immediately wishes he had the option to bring more Q as backup. But those weren't the rules. One Q, one Prophet. That is what he and the Prophets agreed to when he went to the celestial temple.
The Prophet stands in the promenade with a humanoid kneeling at her feet, whip wrapped tightly around his neck. Her lens filter is firmly in place. She plants a foot on his chest, pushing him backwards, pulling the whip taut.
"Well, I see you've wasted no time forcing your fetishes on us," Q murmurs to the Prophet as he walks up to her.
"Isn't it great?" She asks.
If only I could just trap her in an asteroid prison or something, Q thinks sourly. Maybe if he had the Continuum backing him. But if he had tea, he could have had tea and biscuits if he had biscuits. There's nothing for it, though. "I can certainly see how these mortals would think a jem'hadar a killer. I'm surprised he's lasted as long as he has."
"Oh, he'll last even longer if I have any say in it~"
Q rolls his eyes.
"You mortals are all the same," Q announces. "My dear Jean-Luc was never so shortsighted. The best I can do is offer what mercy I can. And if I'd known she had that infernal ship at her beck and call sooner, I'd have done this favour for Zinger and Killjoy too."
Q snaps his fingers, and tomsloger's body goes limp. The Prophet stands there for a moment, looking nonplussed.
"We had a deal, Q," she says at last.
Grunting in annoyance, Q raises a stern finger to the Prophet. "Don't think I can't figure out what's really going on here," he says. "Your game is nearly up, you foul koss'moran. I've outsmarted far stronger and smarter opponents than you."
The Prophet tilts her head slightly to the side. If Q's words affected her, she certainly didn't show it. "That's the difference between you and I," she says, indicating tomsloger's limp form. "You talk. I act."
With a flick of her wrist, the Prophet pulls the whip from tomsloger's neck. "I'll see you tomorrow, Q."
Q harrumphs and vanishes in a flash of light. Maybe he was wrong about the Prophet's background and true motives, but one fact remained: She was evil, and he would stop her. Sophont beings were fun to torment, but his was the torment of an older sibling. He could do as he pleased, because he wouldn't really hurt them. And anyone else who tried would long for the comfort of the nine circles of hell once he was through with them.
The Prophet fades away moments later, taking her lens filter with her.
Taran'atar, Jem'hadar Observer has been lynched.
Night actions are due to Annorax by Saturday, September 3 at 9 PM CST.
You were pretty scummy Tom, sorry. Early Neutral hunting, how easily you bounced your vote between H_T/KoD and TS on Day 2, the fact that you chose your Night targets in a way that made unprovable you actually were a Namecop and the refusal to claim your ultimate even when facing lynch were too much for me. Apologies, but well.
I'll keep my opinion on further events to myself. Suffice to say, I'll gladly lose to Cyt if she's scum, so that's not even a matter of discussion. The rest is the rest.
We have all night abilities that are relevant, so we'll get an early Day start.
Day breaks on Deep Space Nine, and again, the population gathers in the Promenade to find that their number has been reduced yet again.
Silvercrys, Leck, Eliminator's body was found in his quarters. His head, though, has not turned up anywhere. There'll be a stationwide announcement if it does turn up.
D_V, Nog, Alternate Reality Strongman also didn't turn up for the town's morning meet-and-autopsy. A search of his quarters revealed nothing but suspicious, foot-shaped burn marks on the carpet.
6 alive, 4 to lynch.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Hey all... I'm retired, not dead. Check out what I'm doing these days (and beg me to come back if you want):
So. Since Silver had just burned his minus it's unlikely he killed him (although not impossible if we consider the possibility he burned himself out to do it. A one for one trade in this manner isn't typically likely but if silver thought he was going to die anyway maybe?). From my perspective that makes it extremely likely to be an SK shot since we have two dead town vigs to start with then there's what I do, making the kill unlikely to come from yet another town source. Especially so since this kill wasn't claimed in the mass. To that end I have two things to address.
First, KoD what's your flavor please?
Secondly Kosa has come forth in the neighbor thread as having more to his role than he claimed yesterday. Supposedly he knows that either me or Chandy are scum. I find it suspicious there's no mention of this in the game thread though. Seems like information that town would be more than willing to share. Could be a town gambit. Or could be an attempt to make some shady friends so to speak. The whole situation combined with there likely being a non town killer floating around out there gots me uneasy though.
What was your thought process to disclose ITT what I've claimed in the chat without 1) having said nothing in the chat and 2) waiting for Chandra to chime in?
Actually, what was your thought process to reveal that I've added Chandra to the chat in the first place?
And what makes you think town would be willing to share "hey guys I'm a conditional cop" when our Doctor, if any, is most certainly dead and scum have a redirector?
At this point in time, I've got more to claim as I believe it will nail the remaining scum if indeed there is only one mafiate left (or nontown left).
Let me preface this by saying I wholeheartedly believe Half is the scum.
Here is my full claim. I am Odo, Commanding Constable. I have four abilities, none of which are one shot. The first ability is a roleblock that prevents the use of latnium and loyalty abilities from the target (for that night in case this matters later). The second ability is a name cop ability, and it notes that it does not provide alignment or persona/title. The third ability is the conditional ability. If the person I ended up targeting happens to be Ferengi, then they will lose 2 latnium; however, instead of dying (from having no latnium) they will all traits and abilities associated with being a Ferengi (this was paraphrased in a way so as to avoid full on quoting the role pm). The final ability is also conditional. If I ended up targeting a Jem'Hadar (or w/e Tom was) or a Vorta, that player will be unable to use day activated abilities the next day.
First off, that last ability of mine is a major driving factor of why I pursued Tom. I got the impression that either Tom or Half had to be scum based off that ability, and to help me focus on one I looked at how scummy they were. Obviously, from how I was arguing, Tom was way more scummy to me than Half was. Indeed, Half came off as town to me; however, Tom came up as town. This leads me to believe, based off my ability, that Half has to be scum.
It gets better though. I fully believe there is a scum roleblocker out there because I failed to get my abilities to resolve. It's *possible* Silver targeted me, but I highly doubt that given what happened yesterday near the end of the day. Silver seemed much more interested in the likes of DV and others (like Cat or Half) before me. Plus, I don't see why he'd target me when, from his perspective, I was essentially vanilla (unless he didn't believe me, but that's a stretch given who else he was looking at).
To close this post out, I don't think Cat is scum. I could be wrong on that, but I don't think I am since DV seemed more than happy to push Cat's lynch to get her lynched over Tom only to change his mind and go after Tom.
All that being said, my vote is going on Half for the rest of the game barring something real damning that comes out on another player that proves beyond all shadow of doubt that they are scum.
My targets were TS N1(1st and 2nd ability), Mind N2(1st and 2nd ability), Brin N3 (1st and 2nd ability), and finally Half N4 (1st and 4th ability, but my abilities failed).
Yes, I know Mind and Brin died on those nights. I quite literally went wtf mafia.
At this point, I have claimed everything about my role minus the whole story of my character which, in summary, is that I'm Odo from the Mirror Universe and that I lead the post war Dominion. Sisko wanted me to find a rogue Jem'Hadar to convince them to stop trying to ignite war. I replaced "this" universe's Odo. I disagree with the Dominion of "this" universe because in my genetics I carry the knowledge of my original universe's Dominion which sought to work with others, maintain peace, and create fair and just laws.
Ok, that's literally everything about my role now. My cards are all on the table.
@kosa, as I said I see it as either a town gambit on your part (which I find to be lacking and thus don't care to play along), or you're not town (in which case I don't care to play along), or it's factual. Risk vs reward on revealing it if factual is low vs high. If you're telling the truth then today's lynch is a solid 50/50 shot, keeping that to yourself and leaving the Lynch open to sway a third direction is dumb. Also it's been posited for quite some time that scum have daychat. If one of us is scum, then any remaining members that we'd be linked with have a good chance of knowing already what I've presented so keeping that to yourself is also dumb. As for Chandy responding, that's only relevant if none of this is true. If it is true then chandy responding is irrelevant because eventually it'll just come to the thread anyway and people will just have to decide which side of the 50/50 they fall on. But anything said in the QT would be heresay to them so why not just do it openly in the first place. If it's a lie however, you're banking on either somebody admiting to being scum so you can either say "gotcha!" and bank on the other to back you in thread or if you are that non town looking for a friend entity you'll then join unholy forces and steam roll the townie in thread with a may the better shot win type of agreement going into night. We are at a stage where secrets and games are only going to cost town. Take Tom for example. Secrets made him look shady as ****. If you're town just be open and honest and let's finish this game out right.
@KoD, mirror universe Odo was an ore processing task master for the Klingon-cardassian alliance that bashir prime killed 3 years before the dominion war started. Care to comment on the flavor disconnect?
I've omitted an important part of my claim: whenever there's three or more people concurrently in the neighbor network, I'm informed if any of them is also in another QT. I'm not informed which one though.
That's why I didn't bat an eye when Wheat claimed mason. The mason pair was the perfect excuse design-wise to make my "cop" results unreliable.
But then, I was redirected from Wheat to H_T on reasons that I've yet to understand and went paranoid that we could be facing a double scumteam, with Wheat and KJ false claiming. That turned out to be just paranoia though, so great.
End point is, either CFC or Half, or both, is/are scum. Since I've announced that I know at least one of them is scum, the neighbor chat went silent. And I'm not really sure what to take from Half's answer here.
I'll reread the game based on their interactions, especially with D_V, and will be back later.
Tom plz be scum.
Otherwise I think I just lost the town the game.
=/
Like. The game is mechanically locked right now. We lynch D_V, then you, then KoD, then CFC. That kills the scum team literally 100% of the time regardless of how many scum are left.

Cfc>ht>DV>KoD
I don't know about mechanically locked, but there's a pretty obvious road map
Cyth/wheat/silver/kosa have definitely already won if scum
I'd apologize for getting lynched, but I literally don't know how to act townier than this. All of my progression is in the thread.
So
Good luck yall
it's a travesty you were lynched.
What was your ability?
Gets the full role PM
Loltown.
Kod?
I think you're missing some things. But what evs.
Silver seems way to ready to lynch anybody.

@ Cynth what happens if I target you with my ability is it good?
Chandra's Fiery Cat (4): Wheat_Grinder (2622), Cythare (2642), Silvercrys3467 (2688), tomsloger (2690)
tomsloger (5): KingofDominaria (2596), Chandra's Fiery Cat (2598), Half_Time (2643), Kosakosa (2708), D_V (2730)
That is a lynch.
Since this game's got activity going as of a few minutes before this post, I'm posting the vote count and lynch scene separately. The game is currently in twilight. Players may continue to post until the lynch scene if they wish.

it would certainly be a two way street if thats the case.
i dont really respond to cases against me anyway, but if i did it would have just been "yes whats your point"
and the day action thing was a legitimately insane theory. like, thats either scummy or extreme confirmation bias.
oh well. still dont actually care about winning, and i had fun.

Vote: Half
One more thing,
My targets were TS N1(1st and 2nd ability), Mind N2(1st and 2nd ability), Brin N3 (1st and 2nd ability), and finally Half N4 (1st and 4th ability, but my abilities failed).
Sure, I'll comment on the flavor disconnect. It's flavor.
Do you care to comment on whether or not you have day abilities?
Half should die first and foremost. I'm positive some of the shenanigans in this game came from him.
