KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

I was convinced Tom was SK that means that I as Town which is what my Role PM told me I was would want to lynch the SK.
Lynching the SK as Jester would lose me the game since the game would be over.
Also lynching the possible SK as the Jester would lose me the game as well.
I'd have to be reading Tom as town which I wasn't to make him the good lynch. I know I am town and was pushing Tom you were pushing Tom as well so that makes you the SK and therefore the correct lynch.

I feel like I'm trapped in a cage with two rabid animals.
Let's lay it out like this:
For the townie to win, they must elect the Jester or become elected, himself. This King would then need to lynch the SK for the town to win.
For the SK to win, they must elect the Jester or become elected, himself. This King would then need to lynch the townie for the SK to win.
For the Jester to win, they must elect either the townie or the SK, and then have that player lynch him to win.

There's only one living member of the town at present, and that player knows who the two anti-town players are. However, neither of the anti-town players can be completely certain of who the other one is.
It's quite a conundrum for everyone to be in!
So, without further ado, I leave this game in the hands of our King from yesterDay.

No sense in dredging up a bunch of WIFOM about it. I can say I'm town all day and that won't be the deciding factor in Killjoy's vote.
I could go over the myriad of things I thought about saying when typing up my last post, but I decided that instead of spending an hour typing something up on my phone, that it was best to stick to the simplest of formulas.
At any rate, Killjoy - at least give us the courtesy of a trueclaim, now that you're King.

If a deadline passes without a king being elected, the king will be chosen at random. If a deadline passes without the king executing anyone, instead nobody will be executed and instead the serial killer will gain an additional kill for the following night. So perhaps be punctual.

I laid out any reason why anyone would elect anyone else. While it's true that the Jester doesn't care who's elected as long as it isn't them, would either of you have actually elected me toDay? I mean, really.

The SK can't elect town to King because then they autolose. Either I kill them and win, or kill the jester and lose.
Iso is very likely to be the jester here. Also I think SK!Iso would have automatically tried to get us to elect himself then wait out the clock so he could just shoot us both (which the mod would change the rules, but he would have tried.)

I considered revealing that I thought Killjoy was the townie but in the off chance that D_V was actually town here, I'd be forfeiting the game if that were the case.
So instead of following my read, I decided to play the odds game. I had a higher mathematical chance of winning by electing Killjoy, even in the event that he was actually the townie.
I couldn't risk electing D_V, because of how likely I thought he was to actually be the Jester. He'd likely just lynch me out of rage for dicking him out of his opportunity to win.
So, I took the safest option and went with "I'm probably right about D_V but Killjoy won't lynch me so let's take a gamble and see if he's actually the Jester."

As mentioned in the QT, Iso's vote for Killjoy and D_V's self-vote both confused me, since they seem to go against each's interest, but again, I didn't expect Iso (who guessed D_V was the jester last night) to not realize that electing Killjoy meant he couldn't win. So I guess D_V's gambit paid off?
I had fun with this setup - it's light, but confusing enough as to give players the chance to actually outplay each other.
This set up is interesting. I decided to try and run the pretend to be town gambit. But I am not really certain what the right play is for the Jester day One.
Day 2 I stand by my self vote.
The town member knows they are town and should only ever vote themselves.
The SK can only vote themselves. OR possibly the jester and pray.
The Jester has to elect someone else to win and therefore loses the moment they move their vote over.
As a comment I actually wonder if not reading your role pm in a set up like this is actually correct.
I did read my role PM but I'm starting to think that it may be OK at least mathematically to not do so.

The SK doing that thing.
Or possibly
But definitely
Unless of course it's me.
But you as SK wouldn't go for Tom either.
Nobody as SK would lynch Tom.
Period.
Yeah dude right before I elected you we got this in the bag.
Night will end as soon as the SK sends me a kill.

I would have sworn dota was jester. Let's see who else thought that.
Currently thinking ISO is sk and dv is jester.
Nice Try SK.
Vote DV
Typo Fixed.
Actually you might be sk and the not reading PM thing might be a ruse.
vote kj
But if I was the SK as you claim then wouldn't I be fearful of killing Tom because I think that he actually might be the Jester?
You seemed very sure he wasn't the jester after the lynch, maybe you are the jester.

So basically what you're saying is that Killjoy should lynch you?
Who would want that except for the Jester?

And who would say that except for the Jester?
The SK can't elect town to King because then they autolose. Either I kill them and win, or kill the jester and lose.
Iso is very likely to be the jester here. Also I think SK!Iso would have automatically tried to get us to elect himself then wait out the clock so he could just shoot us both (which the mod would change the rules, but he would have tried.)
So, lets end this. Execute DV
I've been reading D_V as the Jester.
Did I just lose?

So instead of following my read, I decided to play the odds game. I had a higher mathematical chance of winning by electing Killjoy, even in the event that he was actually the townie.
I couldn't risk electing D_V, because of how likely I thought he was to actually be the Jester. He'd likely just lynch me out of rage for dicking him out of his opportunity to win.
So, I took the safest option and went with "I'm probably right about D_V but Killjoy won't lynch me so let's take a gamble and see if he's actually the Jester."

I'm not certain I was pretty sure that KJ was the SK.
If you had elected me though IDK what I would have done.

Sir Killjoy, Townie of the Realm, and Sir Iso, Evil Minion of Darkness Bent on Total Destruction, feel very silly. And also lose.

I had fun with this setup - it's light, but confusing enough as to give players the chance to actually outplay each other.
