KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

We nominate Killjoy(as my top townread) to be king. Killjoy runs out the clock, giving the SK a double NK. We still go into D2 with 3 alive. This results in 2 scenarios:
1)One of the NK's was the jester, POE to find and lynch the SK. 2)Both NK's were townies, POE and elect the most likely Jester to King, POE between the final 2 to lynch the SK.
Obviously the SK could choose to only use one of the NK's, this still narrows the field and helps towards making the correct lynch. We could get lucky and the jester is the NK, which narrows it even further.
I doubt the SK would use neither kill, as we could just run the play again until a)the SK slips and we lynch him, b)the SK cracks and kills someone or c)Xyre declares a draw and hunts us down for ruining his game

If I'm the jester, why the hell am I asking to take my chances at being NK'd along with the rest of town by forcing a No Lynch/double NK?

So after all that has happened with Tom, I make a suggestion that could lead us to victory and suddenly Tom is a perfectly acceptable lynch? This is a terrible idea. What I'm proposing pushes the SK to work with town, it's in his best interests to take out the jester over night too. This puts him in Lylo where he is either elected king and autowins or has to convince the king he's the wrong lynch. If the jester is there with him he loses either way. My way gives town the best odds by forcing the SK's hand into working with us for his own survival.

Rest assured that if I get a hint of an attempt to circumvent the spirit of the rules, I'm going to change the rules to make them harder to circumvent. Don't be tempted.
As I said, I'm not entirely convinced that tom isn't the SK.
DoT could easily be the Jester or the SK. His early plan nominated both himself and myself to be possible lynches for toDay, which both looks townie if he's the SK and gives him a chance to get lynched if he's the Jester.
DoT, can you explain why you think I don't still want to be King for toDay? Last I checked, my vote was still on myself.

honestly i assumed no one would believe me. its too perfect, right?
so assuming im not the jester, what looks worse?
kj handling me with kid gloves or DV being certain im bluffing
You know what's a bad idea for the actual jester to do? Try to throw shade on other people. One of them could be the sk and that makes him lose. How many times does he do this?
king has a 20% chance of being jester. this is the best as it gives 25% chance to win and 0% to lose
20% chance to elect the sk. this is the worst. 0% win, 25% lose
60% we elect VT. 25% win, 25% lose
adding those up, we have a win/lose/day2 percentages of 20/20/60
Day 2:
33% chance we elect sk. town loses whether he lynches the last townie or the jester.
the rest of the time, we elect a townie or the jester if hes still alive after NK. it doesnt matter.
they have a 50% chance of lynching the sk. otherwise, town loss.
jester has a 33% chance to get sked, 33% chance of being elected. if neither of those happen, 50% to win. add that to the 20% from Day 1
town has a 40% chance to win if all choices are random.
jester is at 33%, sk 27%.
i also checked out the "let time expire to give the sk 2 shots at the jester" plan.
it makes town 33%, jester 17%, sk 50%. so lets not do that.
you were immediately sure i wasnt the jester. you could think i was lying as town, but youd definitely know i was lying as jester.
i already went over why you arent the sk.
kj has been down for whatever lynch gets support. trying just a little too hard to act normal.
iso, on the other hand, is totally paranoid of me. i think we're 4/4 for him scumreading me now, so that may be null.
but it is how town should react to me busting in here like the koolaid man saying to "lynch me"
Come on. Sk is the only role I wouldn't claim jester as.
Says SK is a role he would not claim jester as, ignoring obvious benefit of avoiding being lynched.
Tom constantly trying to get others lynched risks town hitting the actual SK and causing him to lose. The Jester does not do that, period. It makes him lose.

**** it. I'll just do it now. Yall aren't going to like it though...
I typed up that opening post before I got my role pm. Then decided to post it unless I got sk.
So I could be lying about the sk part I suppose, but I absolutely reject that town doesn't make that post because there's either a 75% chance or a 60% chance that I would have and/or did.

Huh that's like my plan of having not read my Role PM.
I've been after Tom since before you replaced in. It's hardly sudden.
Your plan is anti town. Giving the sk two chances to kill likely hands the game to the sk. I'm not gonna let Tom win like that.
Not that it matters anymore after Xyre's post, but how was my plan anti-town. Giving the SK two shots increases the odds of him hitting the Jester, removing the WIFOM that is plaguing this thread, and increases towns chances of solving the game on day 2 and making the right lynch.
As I said, I'm not entirely convinced that tom isn't the SK.

Your vote might still be on yourself but you haven't pushed to get yourself elected. In Ace Attorney you were very vocal about getting on to the jury and trying to take a leading role in the game, and you were scum in that one. I know meta isn't a guaranteed method of reading someone, but you're a strong player who would try to swing everyone to your way of thinking if you were either of the two anti-town roles.
D_V's been introducing just as WIFOM into the game as what tomsloger has, my money's on the two of them being the anti-town roles. For better or worse I'm going with Killjoy for king.
**** it. I'll just do it now. Yall aren't going to like it though...

all those posts are trying to solve the game.
DV read your role. You can't play to win if you don't know your win condition.

If you're right about D_V then POE means it has to be tom and Iso (from my perspective at least). I can't believe that Iso is an anti-town role in this game and you're at the top of my town reads list as the player most invested in trying to figure out what's going on. Therefore, it must be between Tom and D_V. Toms trying too hard to make us believe he's the Jester, and then protesting that he's not, and then saying he is etc. I'm with you on this one, tom is the SK, which makes D_V the jester.
.. explaining his early post about Tom not being the sk because he is.
No it was more of a point I picked SK because Tom had already picked Jester.
DV read your role. You can't play to win if you don't know your win condition.
There is literally Zero point.
If I am the jester I am winning Day 2.
If I am the SK I am winning Day 2.
If I am town I am winning when we lynch Tom. Unless he is the Jester, but my read tells me otherwise.
Also I am like 90% certian DoTA is the jester for that "Random Lynch" proposal. Dear god that was bad.

Okay, Killjoy's last post made me decide he was town. I was about it but then I thought about it and Killjoy is usually expressing the exact opposite of what I'm thinking at any given point when he's town.
So while I don't trust that he won't lose us the game by lynching the Jester, he is also my only town read.

DV read your role. You can't play to win if you don't know your win condition.
No it was more of a point I picked SK because Tom had already picked Jester.
So while I don't trust that he won't lose us the game by lynching the Jester, he is also my only town read.
Unvote, Vote Killjoy
Lead me to victory, my liege.
