I'm sad that this game didn't feature any Replicators. I guess they would pretty much have to be a Cult, which we're not going to see in a League game.
i'm just sad this game didn't have any more punch to it; i liked the setup enough, but I really thought that your/Iso's last game for a while was going to be a hell of a lot more memorable than this ended up being.

The Twenty-Second Vote Count (aka the "Fragile Balance" Vote Count)
Once again, it takes only mere moments for the surviving System Lords to come to a consensus about who to kill. Jobie is quickly dragged into the middle of the room.
"He's another Tau'ri agent! Get him!"
One of the System Lords plunges a ceremonial dagger into Jobie's stomach... and comes out with a piece of symbiote.
Had the System Lords destroyed a member of their own?
Then the form shifts in front of you, just like it had the last few days, and the truth becomes clear. Jobie may not have been a member of SG-1, but he was a Tok'ra and a threat to all of you.
”Team, your contact at the summit is supposed to be Sel'mak. Unfortunately, you won't be able to meet up with him at the rendezvous point. We got a message from him a couple of days ago saying that the original plan was compromised; he will make it to the summit, and he will be able to help you, but not directly.”
“How do we find him.”
“You don't, not directly. We weren't able to get the radio to him, that was intercepted by a Gou'Ald agent. The Tok'ra were, however, able to get him the mimic device we got ready for him, so he won't be completely defenseless – and as a Tok'ra he has a genetically Gou'Ald, so even if he's scanned by a medical scanners he'll show up as a normal Gou'Ald.
Welcome to Stargate SG-1: The System Lord Summit, Jobie! You are Sel'mak, a member of the Tok'ra resistance faction within the Gou'Ald. Your host, Jacob Carter, was originally from Earth (and the father of SG-1 member Samantha Carter); as you are also among the oldest and wisest of Tok'ra, you were the natural choice. However, a Gou'Ald agent has prevented you from meeting up with SG-1 before the summit. You've had to sneak in yourself, and while you'll do everything you can to assist SG-1 you won't be able to contact them directly.
You are an Investigation-Immune Mafia Traitor. You have the following special abilities:
Factional Abilities: Tau'ri Alliance – You are aligned with the Mafia, which consists of [REDACTED]. You count towards the Mafia win condition, but cannot communicate with them outside the thread and cannot perform the Mafia nightkill. If all four members of the Mafia are dead and you are alive, you will automatically leave the game (commit suicide).
[REDACTED]
Passive Abilities: Symbiote – Alignment investigations will return results as if you were Town-aligned.
Activated Abilities: Zat'nik'tel(1-shot) - Once during the game, at night, you may target a player. You will block any actions your target makes tonight.
You win when at least half of all living players are are aligned with the Mafia, or nothing can prevent the same.
Please confirm via return PM.
Mod Note: This role is a major reason this game has full reveal on death. The unredacted part of this role's factional abilities is intentional.
18) Jobie, Sel'mak, Investigation-Immune Mafia Traitor, was lynched Day 5
It is now Night 5. Do not post. Night will end on February 25, 2016 at ~6:00 P.M. GMT -6 (shortening Night by 24 hours given the gamestate).
The System Lords were awoken earlier than usual before the next day of the summit, as alarms went off all over the station.
It had been so quiet lately (too quiet, perhaps) - what was going on? After a bit of checking, the technicians indicated that a bomb had gone off somewhere in the visitors' quarters. Which of course posed an obvious question: Who was dead this time?
After checking the list of attendees and double-checking the blast site, it was clear that the bomb had been intended for assassinating Olokun, and it had succeeded at its job - the System Lord had been blasted into pieces. Given the body parts and lack of any small round devices in the room, it looked like it was the actual Olokun and not an impostor.
The second missing System Lords wasn't in his quarters - or in any of the common areas. Eventually, someone thought to check a small room near the makeshift morgue - which is where the Gou'Ald found Tel'chak, shot repeatedly next to what looked like another of his tweaked sarcophagi. Tel'chak still received invitations to observe these summits as a reward for the life-renewing sarcophagus, one of the greatest Gou'Ald technologies; he must have brought his latest project with him. Unfortunately, he also liked weird controls, and nobody could figure out how to work this one. A pity, it could have been useful...
As the System Lords prepared to return to the chamber, however, they received a shock - Tel'chak's sarcophagus was opening! Tel'chak might be dead, but he'd made one last contribution first - returning Osiris to the realm of the living. After being filled in on the events he'd missed, Osiris took out a secret spare memory recall device... then headed over to Setesh's body and grabbed the original back.
Now that all the missing bodies had been accounted for, the System Lords returned to the main chamber... and were once again shocked, as an assemblage of retainers had already piled into the chamber. Which was strange - the System Lords brought small retinues to such summits, but this kind of panoply was a privilege reserved for the Supreme System Lord. Nobody had brought such a group since Ra died at Abydos...
"I felt that such a display was the only appropriate announcement of my return, yes?" said Plowshares. "I have endured my journey through the underworld. Twice I have underestimated the Tau'ri. No more. We will do what we should have done five thousand years ago - muster our fleets and burn the Tau'ri to ash."
“So, this is Olokun. I'd talk about him, but looking at the Tok'ra reports there's not really much to talk about? He's about as average as a System Lord gets – the most interesting thing about him is probably that he's one of the very few System Lords that set up a territory in Africa back before the Gou'Ald got driven off Earth. He hasn't been having any notable military successes or failures lately, he doesn't have any unusual tech, nothing interesting at all.”
Welcome to Stargate SG-1: The System Lord Summit, prowlingpengolin. You are Olokun, a System Lord attending the summit.
You are Vanilla Town. You have no special abilities.
You win when all threats to the town are dead.
Please confirm via return PM.
Flavor note: Yes, that should be "sub-Saharan Africa".)
So, Tel'chak! Now, the important thing to remember about Tel'chak is that he's not actually a System Lord. He's one of the Gou'Ald scientists and by all accounts prefers to stay out of the Gou'Ald power struggles and work on tech stuff. He did rule a small area in what is now Central America back in the day, but by all accounts he no longer bothers with the power struggles and is content to rule a couple of planets under the protection of another Gou'Ald. But he gets invited to System Lord summits anyways as a recognition of past accomplishments, because he invented the sarcophagus technology that the Gou'Ald rely on to extend their lifespans. It's kind of a sweet deal, honestly – he gets most of the influence he would have as a full System Lord without having to worry about being taken down by rivals.”
Welcome to Stargate SG-1: The System Lord Summit, CitricBase. You are Tel'chak, the Gou'Ald who reverse-engineered the life-restoring sarcophagus from Ancient technology. You've brought your own personal upgraded sarcophagus to the summit, which may just come in handy because SG-1 showed up and seems to be using some kind of weapon or poison that prevents the normal version from working. Your sarcophagus only has so much power, though, so use it wisely!
You are a Town 2-Shot Reviver. You have the following special abilities:
Activated Abilities: Sarcophagus(2-shot) – Twice during the game at night, you may target a dead player. You will revive that player at the start of the next game day. Healing Device(1-shot) - Once during the game, at night, you may target another player. You will block the first killing ability that targets that player tonight.
You win when all threats to the town are dead.
Please confirm via return PM.
19) CitricBase, Tel'chak, Town 2-Shot Reviver, was gunned down Night 5
17) prowlingpengolin, Olokun, Vanilla Town, blew up Night 5
3) Gentleman Johnny (rep. Voxxicus), Osiris, Town Rolecop, was revived Night 5
Additionally, 11) Plowshares is hereby mod-confirmed to be a member of the Town.
I shot Prowling. I wanted to ensure that we would get a flip one way or another out of Plowshares, and I figured that prowling was very high probability of being scum anyway. I'm out of vig shots and protective shields now, sadly. :/
Jobie's flip also confirms Hans as town, so we're working with a fairly small suspect pool today.
This is what we have left:
3)Gentleman Johnny - Town Rolecop
[5) Cyan - Town Vig
7) hansanator -Town Cop
11) Plowshares* - Mod Confirmed Town
I think it's hard to lose from here. We just lynch one of these 3, and either A)win the game instantly or B)go to night and rolecop one(not Nacho), alignment investigate another, then figure out the rest tomorrow. Hans will probably get NKed, but what can we do.
Rhand, I targeted you night 1. I'm going to give you one chance to come clean. Are you actually vanilla?
Ahahahahahaha. If I was right about Rhand from Post 1, I'll feel at least a little better about myself. Seriously though, there's no other town role for him to be, he's the last scum. Vote Rhand
If he flips town, we alignment investigate not Nacho and role investigate uhhh Vaimes I guess.
I feel like we should have been blown out, especially with day 2 being Stargete Mafia, Town Liar edition. Thank God so many people felt like throwing, or this game was was over the top.
If Rhand makes me feel better, I actually would rather lynch Hans today. I can't think of a single feasible reason he would still be alive. The mafia had to know that eventually a mislynch would occur if they were to ever have a chance at winning, and Hans was not ever being protected. At the very least, they had no reason to believe Citric was lying.
Hans is literally confirmed town by Jobie's flip. It's either that, or, Taredas is bastard modding us to the utmost degree imaginable, which I cannot accept.
If Rhand submitted any action N1, he is the lynch today. This is really cut and dry. If he were going to come clean with anything, it would have been yesterday when we were mass claiming.
Oh, the whole "reveals on town" part of Jobie's post. Right. Kind of miffed I was wrong on him. I felt the empathy for woe of the vanilla town which I get often, and let it fool me. Glad SC ended up flipping. I would have pushed him hard day 1, if I thought it had a chance.
Citric was also a 1-shot Doc. Wow...I would be out of my mind with rage right now if I had been assigned a mafia role in this game. I honestly don't know how they were ever going to win.
If Rhand is somehow town that just felt like he had to lie to us all game, including during the mass-claim, then Nacho should be the last scum. Like, by all logic, he SHOULD be scum. But behaviorally he seems completely town, and Rhand is sitting here with a lie against him, so.
We're going to be waiting like 8 days or something(I think) for him to come around and post and reveal his role though, I believe. :/
How does logic dictate nacho decide to shield one of the strongiest townie players in the game seem to be logically scum? I wasn't following post to post in my skim, but I got the gist of it, and I can't see why scum Nacho does anything to you...
I can't use my Vig shot on the nights that I have to protective shield myself, for one thing. Plus the scum had an RB(and the capability of giving out more RB shots if Nacho was also scum) anyway. The power level of the town is just like..over the top ridiculous.
It doesn't really matter, I can't see lynching anyone other than Rhand, and I would honestly do so without him claiming anything, because there is nothing believable that he can claim here IMO. But we should still have a contingency plan.
Plus, you know, Iso was right about literally everything this game, including things that he honestly had no business being right about. Why shouldn't he just be right about Nacho too.
yeah, sitting here doing nothing will take infinitely longer than just lynching him now. the game's end is in sight after, what, almost three months?
GJ, if you have evidence that contradicts his claim, let's just lynch him and get it over with. though tbh i don't really care about lies/gambits at this point in the game if he somehow actually is a town PR
I'm taking a break from vomiting irl to post some quick thoughts.
At this point, I don't think we can lose. Today we just need to lynch Rhand.
If the game doesn't end there, I (finally) get to investigate vaimes or huntzilla and GJ covers the other one. Either me or GJ will be nk'd but that doesn't matter bc the other will be able to share his information and cross off one of vaimes/huntzilla as a suspect. Lynch whichever one's left and we win.
The only chance of error is if Nacho is scum, but I think he's the least likely of the candidates right now. Even if this is the case, I think(?) that we would still be able to lynch Nacho if all else fails, but somebody should doublecheck this math.
@Nacho - do you still have any inventions left/did you target anyone last night?
Vote: Rhand

"I'm a compulsive liar no matter what team I play on, but I'm trying to get better about it."
Well GJ. You could tell us Rhand's role and let us decide what to do, or we could just lynch him without knowing because it probably doesn't even matter.
And no, I don't want the shield to be even more broken heh, just pointing out possible reasons that Nacho COULD be scum. He most likely isn't though. I imagine that this is one of those situations where the Mod figured the town would lynch overlapping role claims, and we just didn't because of behavior.
Citric wasn't a one shot doc: the healing device was the healing device that I gave to him, just as the one-shot roleblock was revealed when Jobie flipped.
Notice how Jobie flipped with a one-shot role block and I claimed to give him a one shot role block and Citrus flipped with a one-shot doctor and I claimed to give him a one-shot doctor.
also, he's on v/la for almost two more weeks, and you insisting on sitting on whatever info it is you have until he can pop in and probably lie about it is just obnoxious
Eh, I think I'm just annoyed because the game is almost over, and you're just...holding everyone up for your own amusement.
If Rhand is lying, please vote for him. Like, obviously Rhand couldn't account for Citrus having a second shot and reviving the Rolecop who just so happened to check the last (probable) mafia Night 1, and assumed his vanilla claim wouldn't **** him over.
I realized that in the event that Rhand is lynched pretty soon, I just want to go ahead and establish coordination now so there's no chance we'll mess up our night actions.
If Rhand flips town, I am going to investigate Vaimes. @GJ - You rolecop Hunt
If anybody still has an invention, either roleblock Nacho or protect either GJ or me. I can't remember if any inventions are still floating around / what they even are.
If there's something else that'll work better, lemme know and I'll be happy to switch (though I don't really think it makes a difference), but if I don't see anything before the end of day, this is what I'm going to do.

"I'm a compulsive liar no matter what team I play on, but I'm trying to get better about it."
I mean, I asked Tare day 1 if a mafia without a power would show up as vanilla, and he said yes. Rhand likely would have been foddered off anyway, but still, when the guy with the information is telling you to hold, ******* hold.
Huntzilla looks leagues behaviorally worse than Nacho, definitely fine targeting him.
considering your information is 'rhand is what he claimed, but he could still be mafia', i can't say this is the worst thing to have happened this game
Ah it's okay, my vote doesn't count, it doesn't have a colon.
I'm sad now, I thought that the game was over and that I was going to be right about someone I thought was scum from right out the gate. Boo.
But I really would not expect there to be any Vanilla mafia in this game. Like this is basically inconceivable.
But if it's not Rhand, we are back to my original re-assessment post, which is trying to work out whom of the unconfirmeds is most likely to be scum.
And I actually don't think it's Hunt, based on when we ran him on Day 1.
Pretty sure it's Nacho. He said nothing here re: Rhand. He has the only actual role left in the game, and like..the scum just have to have something going for them.
considering your information is 'rhand is what he claimed, but he could still be mafia', i can't say this is the worst thing to have happened this game
Scum have got to have some sort of power left because the roles we've seen so far have been super weak. Limited roleblocks, publicly announced BP, someone who can't communicate with the rest of the team, 1-shot neighborizer, and to top that all off with a vanilla is absurdly underpowered to go up against a town with multiple investigative roles, confirmed townies, and a reviver, etc.

"I'm a compulsive liar no matter what team I play on, but I'm trying to get better about it."
I mean like..Rhand is basically a non-scum now if GJ says he is Vanilla. I'll be dumbfounded if the mafia has even a single Goon in this game. Either A)Nacho is scum or B)one of you or Hunt is a scum information role.
Which would actually be pretty weird for Samantha Carter.
Truthfully, it's probably Nacho. But I think that we probably have to burn through at least one of you Vanillas before people are willing to look at him, despite Iso being right about literally 100% of everything in the game(and he said Nacho was scum). Like..I almost vigged Nacho last night based solely on this, to the point that I had the PM typed up, but I talked myself out of it.
Either one of the Vanillas smartly lied to us(meaning it isn't Rhand), or it's just Nacho. I really don't think it's Hunt, based on his Day 1 'I'm about to get lynched' post, which read as one of the most sincere things I've ever seen. I can't see him saying 'consider lynching all of these guys that you don't think are scum Cyan!' because like..all of those guys ended up being scum. :/ There is just no way that a scum makes that post there, IMO.
In my mind, today, we either lynch Vaimes or Nacho, and if we miss, we lynch the other tomorrow, and if we're still going, we re-evaluate from there.
So we have confirmation on Hans now with the investigation immune flip.
The scum bulletproof confirms Cyan.
GJ is still town.
Do we have this on poe now?
I'm unsure on Nacho, but the failed NK's while Tordeck never protected anyone makes me think he's town. I can't imagine scum handing out shields to the one they try to NK twice.
How many are left? (I'm on shoddy wifi on the phone)
Cyan + anyone else who wants to lynch me: if you can type out 'I believe you faked your interactions with Sir Chris' with your own two hands, read it over several times, and honestly mean it, then I'll go quietly.
Since that's the only real thing standing in my favor. I have nothing else to offer.
But if you absolutely have to double-check the vanilla claims, so be it.

I get it, we are impatient. What's the rush?
The GJ way path to no lynching:
Notice how Jobie flipped with a one-shot role block and I claimed to give him a one shot role block and Citrus flipped with a one-shot doctor and I claimed to give him a one-shot doctor.
Anyway whatever, can we please just kill Rhand and win the game now. :prettyplease:
slowrolling is annoying?
also, he's on v/la for almost two more weeks, and you insisting on sitting on whatever info it is you have until he can pop in and probably lie about it is just obnoxious
If Rhand is lying, please vote for him. Like, obviously Rhand couldn't account for Citrus having a second shot and reviving the Rolecop who just so happened to check the last (probable) mafia Night 1, and assumed his vanilla claim wouldn't **** him over.

I am very surprised by Plow's role being real.
This will hopefully end the game.
If not, looking forward to being cleared tomorrow.
I wanted to see if I could catch him, I didn't realize he would be our for two weeks.
The GJ way path to no lynching:
see you all toMorrow
unless he's like, a goon or something, and the game ends. idk if your ability straight up returns 'vanilla town' or just 'vanilla'
Huntzilla looks leagues behaviorally worse than Nacho, definitely fine targeting him.
The GJ way path to no lynching:
Or it's just Vaimes. Vote: Vaimes
Unvote
Vote: Vaimes
Scum have got to have some sort of power left because the roles we've seen so far have been super weak. Limited roleblocks, publicly announced BP, someone who can't communicate with the rest of the team, 1-shot neighborizer, and to top that all off with a vanilla is absurdly underpowered to go up against a town with multiple investigative roles, confirmed townies, and a reviver, etc.

i've conceded in less dire circumstances
i will not fight this lynch, for it is a very stupid one based on...i don't know, actually
Since that's the only real thing standing in my favor. I have nothing else to offer.
But if you absolutely have to double-check the vanilla claims, so be it.
