i think i am missing your point, because if someone is inactive because of someone else then i would think that makes them bad mafia players.
attacking people and asking questions seems like plenty to respond to.
is your problem the number of posts? i could try to consolidate posts like you and some others, but i doubt i posted more actual words than you despite having 50 more posts.
I actually liked Tom's posting. Even if I hadnt been on the scum team I would have never voted him as his stream of conscious type posting to me is a very town tell.
I think it's a difference in posting style between Chris and Tom.
Tom's stream of consciousness is nice, if it's actually saying things, but it felt like he was just posting to post. I think consolidating points and trying to be more concise in points would seriously help his posting style. Also, Tom, the fact that you had 50 more posts, but I lived to the end game should be a sign that you were posting too much.
Chris posted a lot but he was asking questions creating cases and lived to the end game, so it makes sense that he was top in posts.
Tom, I would talk to Seppel or Iso. I seem to remember when they started playing they had a similar "high volume of posts, low content/post, high words/post" style when they started. I'm not sure how they reeled it in or made themselves more concise, but I think they'd be a good resource.

Basically, I realized that by dominating the conversation, I was reducing the other potential player interactions. And that's how you hunt scumbuddies.
It's like, "Ugh, I want to reply to this, but it's better if I wait to see if Deaths_Vampire replies to it."

this is a great point, and something to think about.
jobie, i am listening. that was my first game, and no doubt in my mind i could have done things differently. stream of conscious won't change, but sometimes i WAS just posting to post.
but this point

is garbage. i dont want to attack you for real life getting in the way, but with your VLAs i was actually active more game days than you (days, not Days)
This is the problem that I've been trying to point out. And if you can be more concise in your points they'll come across more easily. It's definitely something that will improve over time.

Huh, funny that I pretty much skipped the tomslogger stuff entirely so I don't have a great frame of reference for this point - I think I started paying attention shortly after he was shot (first thing I remember is how Chris reacted to it).
I will say that as someone who usually has limited frames of time to post due to work, commitments, etc, it is frustrated when someone is spamming the thread. It makes the game harder to catch up on and it also makes it harder to read other people who aren't that player. Lets people hide.
Was I spamming the thread? I think I also posted a lot. Still learning though.
No, I didn't see anything I'd consider that this game (I wasn't reading the bulk of the tom stuff, though). I thought your posting styled helped me read you and I didn't think you were obstructing conversation at all. It was more of a general thought in response to the discussion.
