Proph,
I don't see how that is possible. I have done nothing nefarious at all this game. My abilities have all been accounted for. I don't see how you think I would be able to pull something like that out of my arse? Plus, there is the question of why? I mean I am green yes, but why the heck would I do something so bad? That is really bad play. Even I know better than that...
I am clearly set up. I don't know how, but I know it's going to get me killed. Which plays right into whoever set me up's plan.
Playing that sub-optimally only would make sense in a noob... That is what I am trying to say. It doesn't fit for a scum!me to do something I knew would be seen by smoke. That was part of the reason I targeted him way back on night one. So that he could account for night actions. I just don't get why you think I would now basically throw the game away if I were scum in this scenario.
Well, that was fun. Checking in really quick before confirming my vote, here is what I am seeing:
1). Hunter claims protection of Proph
2). Smoke claims EP targeted Proph AND EP. Seppel did nothing.
3). Proph got a mason chat with EP.
4). Hunt claims he did not target EP.
Point 2 is a clear contradiction of point 4. Lynch Hunt, then Smoke if hunt doesn't flip town sounds like the most logical play. Anything I am missing?
If TCM is scum then we can investigate that during 3 man lylo, but I want to lynch Hunt first.
You're right that he hasn't done anything, but who has from Days 2-5?
Oh, just the guy you are trying to lynch that SHOT SCUM. But let's conveniently forget about that fact.
I appreciate the vote of confidence Seppel. I just don't think anyone will be joining us on that wagon. Plus once GJ gets in here he will most likely hammer me.

I haven't done anything because there wasn't much to be done. Our last two days were working out the specifics, my ability (almost positive I explained this already) only works on spades, so I don't have an ability to claim.
Hunt is so scum, it hurts. If I wanted to hammer you, I could have done it with my check in post.
I realized there was a typo in the deadline; deadline is set for 11:00am EDT on Thursday, June 18th (3 days hence), not Wednesday, June 18th as previously indicated.
Oh look, I could still hammer him. Didn't even see that Proph moved his vote back on.
@Seppel: Unless you disagree that smoke and Hunt can't both be telling the truth, why do you think I am a better path to follow, and why do you think Hunt jumped blindly on without so much as challenging smoke?
Tell me what your exact night action was. Every single part of it.
The name of the ability is Monterey jack.
Protection Single Target, Choose Red or Black, if suit matches what I call, protection will be successful.
Chose Black, Proph had claimed (same as KCC) 5th from stargate, 5 of spades...
Received back "unsuccessful" result.
I had no idea until you brought up GJ and his reluctance to claim.
I was worried Smoke was lying, but I don't think that is the case now. I think it is actually more likely that somehow the results were tainted. The mason chat could have been part of the ability for all I know. Smoke has been quick to jump on me all game, so I am not surprised he is happy to see me strung up now.
Proph is most likely NOT lying about the mason chat, unless he and Smoke are a team, which I think is HIGHLY improbable at this point. I believe that actually happened, and that Proph is more than likely part of the town. I find the unlynchable aspect of the role to be townie against Iso's unlynchability. I can't see scum having TWO unlynchable members, unaligned or not.
I believe you are either the Cult leader we had been talking about the last few days, or you are town. I don't see that being likely, though I am hardly ever right about your alignment Sep.
That leaves GJ.
I understand why I am likely to die, I just think it is a carefully crafted plan by the last likely scum member to get rid of the towniest ability left. Literally the ONE ability that can still out him.
We can't lynch Proph, so that pretty much clears him.
GJ is still claiming that he has no normal ability, which I don't buy at all, since EVERYONE ELSE has a normal ability (excepting the joat. who has four).
Huntzilla has been lynched! He was Jack, Neutral Serial Killer.
The town has won; congratulations to Blindfaeth, Burning_Earth2, emo_pinata, ganderin_dan, Gentleman Johnny, Kamikaze Archon, Prophylaxis, Seppel, and Smoke_Killah!
Also, huge thanks to Bur for the co-modding; his assistance was greatly appreciated!
My apologies for letting the flavor slide. I know that flavor always makes a game more enjoyable for me, so I regret not having/making more time for that.

Hunt was the only scummy player and purposely targeted s_k day 1 basically guaranteeing he would lose, I don't know what OB did, and ISO claimed SK.
Proph's role was super stupid with Iso and s_k's role was incredibly OP, and beyond that the town relied on useless abilities. Hunt was the strongest "town" role.
The big issue in this game was *****ting on the fundamentals of game design. No consistent NK, swingy nights, and no scum coordination. Three neutrals vs a town with everything neutral is a town win.
So, just like Polyopticon, I learned a CARTLOAD about game design from this experience. Here are a few of those things:
1. An Uncoordinated Scum Team Is at Significant Disadvantage: When testing, my outcome scenarios came out pretty well mixed between town and scum wins, so I thought the balance was ok. What I didn't take into account was how that position would affect the mindset of the players themselves. I definitely felt like all three scum players were more paranoid than usual (which I think is natural for a SK/survivor type role), and it affected their play accordingly. As Iso mentions in the dead player's chat, he (mostly) made what would have normally been good decisions for his role, but which ended up getting him caught instead. And, as noted, the three scum pretty much outted each other, which obviously wouldn't have happened if they had been coordinated. Ditto for Iso's dayvig of Ocean (or, if Iso had dayvigged a scumbuddy, he would have at least gotten town pants for it). Ditto for Ocean needing to gun down Iso to win. Yeah, you get the idea.
2. Multiple Agendas Muddy the Waters: To compound #1, two of the three scum had agendas that didn't necessarily allow them to make the best kill decisions...they instead had to make the kill decisions that fit their wincon (killing all clubs) or fit their kill restrictions (Hunt's SK options), and the 3rd scum only had a kill 1/4 of the Nights. So even if they identified a threat, they wouldn't necessarily have been able to go after them.
3. Quartering Abilities Doesn't Necessarily Quarter Power: I felt that making a lot of abilities (essentially) 1-shot would go a long way toward balancing, and I still feel that way, generally, but there are some factors I failed to consider. Here's a boildown of the "power" in each group:
Town: Hider with (essentially) 1-shot doctor, (essentially) 1-shot triwatcher, (essentially) 1-shot jailer, (essentially) 1-shot gunsmith. I don't feel the other roles significantly contribute to the power:
• The gifter has to correctly target town (he didn't), and the bodyguard shots, while they could save a town info role, it's unlikely that the town info role will get another shot. And the SK's generally don't care who gets killed as long as there are bodies (well, except they probably would have preferred each other staying alive longer).
• The unlynchable becomes questionable as soon as the protection is gone. And if the town player plays correctly, they never have to risk being lynched anyway.
• Undertaker: I don't see this as powerful, especially with the delay element.
• Ability copier: This *could* have been powerful, but that's very dependent, and in any case, it wasn't a factor in this game.
Compared to the scum with: 1/2 Ninja, 1/2 Unkillable, and Godfather with two extra lives. Add in the dayvig, and you're looking at 6 kills per 4-day cycle. Should be a fast game, right? Except...
4. Don't Mess With the Kill Schedule: Ocean could kill two of the four Nights, Hunt could kill two of the four Nights, and then Iso had a fifth kill, so everything should have been hunky-dory, right? I even thought about how it would affect the game if one of the scum died early. I figured it might take a little longer, but we were still on a more-or-less normal pace. What I didn't really think of, though, was how that would affect the remaining scum's progress. This game really needed the possibility of a kill every Night, and I think this would have been highlighted even more if the game had gone on even one more Day.
5. Keep It Winnable: I knew going into this that it was going to be a little harder for the scum to win because of their wincons, but I thought it would be just a *little* harder. Unfortunately, I essentially made it so one scum had to kill 4-5 players (via lynch or NK), and the other two had to be survivors. Not only is that more difficult when compared to a normal Mafia game where there's one scum left, but it completely eliminated the chances of an early win by scum. Three mislynches almost certainly wouldn't have ended the game with a scum win, where in a normal Mini that would at least have a chance of happening. Plus, the scum were gunning for each other. I think it would have been better with easier wincons. Maybe "you win if you are alive with two other players" would have been enough. Maybe not.
6. Murphy's Law is a Thing: Two examples:
• I'm not a big fan of no reveal/low reveal setups, but an undertaker fit in well with the flavor, so I implemented it, with the fear in the back of my mind that the Undertaker would die early and the rest of the game would be low reveal. Undertaker did die early, but then Ocean did, too.
• I don't know if Seppel actually didn't read his role, or if he only pretended not to, but the result was the same: Hunt thought SK was untargetable for the rest of the game and thus didn't go after him.
7. I Freakin Cannot Play and Mod: I knew this lesson going in, but I ignored it, and my modding (specifically flavor, but also the Night 4 Chat being delayed) suffered. Sorry.
The above should be plenty to serve as a warning to other game designers who want to completely fracture the scum team. My apologies to OB, Hunt, and Iso.
As for MVPs, no one really stands out on either team. GJ correctly investigated Iso, but Iso was playing to get investigated. Both e_p and Proph did a good job late game.
And the scum suffered from the setup, outting each other and killing each other off. I was *really* surprised that Iso came out as a neutral, and I was really surprised that Hunt didn't at least *try* to kill S_K. I think Hunt would have had a better chance if that had happened.
I couldn't claim Vig. I thought Hunt was the Vig and didn't want cries of "dichotomy!" on my head. Not having any idea what information roles there were and coming under fire by the Gunsmith + Inventor combo meant my ONLY viable claim was Neutral.

Agreed. I literally was second-guessing myself for a few moments here.
Thank you. I appreciate the kudos.
I had a good deal of fun with this game. I especially liked the idea behind all my different abilities. Getting to Kingmaker and winning was damn near impossible, I agree, but if I had actually TRIED to kill Smoke it might have gone down different. I don't know why but I totally believed Seppel's claim, which kept me from trying to target either one of them. Hindsight I guess...
Also, GJ, me being wrong doesn't mean I'm scum. I didn't figure out the scum in The Wall until the last minute.
You being wrong on one count is definitely not indicative of scum. You being wrong multiple times was though, which is why I had enough doubt to still justfiy going after you, strong player or not. Your tone also felt different from your town tone, but I can't think of a good reason why.
The reason I followed you on Hunt the first time was that I had an initial guess on why you had a bead on hunt,(since he said something that pinged my radar) and followed you on it. You immediately sprung it as a trap (which I still don't see how you justify it as one), and then said nothing as Hunt and KCC blindly followed you. You also said something along the lines of the end of day about KCC/GJ being town, the other being scum: That was obvious, no original though, and a hard fence sit without a reason/gut to how you were feeling.
I stopped snooping as I felt my investigation on you was safe. Gunsmiths I have always seen as a cop, but instead of getting the false negative from a godfather, you can get a false positive from a vigilante. Alas, what can you do? I feel like my role could have no existed in the game, and the town would have lost 0 power.
Again, being wrong doesn't mean I'm scum. Like I said, I didn't solve The Wall until endgame, and the one scum we DID lynch I wasn't scumreading until he got run up to L-2 and made a terrible claim.
Sometimes I just have off games.
I was so mad that you guys didn't lynch Hunt after I pointed out his absolutely illogical, non-town need for survival.

You were scum dude. Even if you had 100% clarity, anything you said would have been taken with a grain of salt. I realize the situation called for a different approach, but I am merely pointing out that because of who you are, you being wrong a lot "until the end" can be seen as a point of suspicion. Anyone who tries to use that as the sole reason, you can blow out of the water, but it will tend to draw suspicion. It sounds like you had a raw deal though, even with the protection you had, not possessing the nk on a daily basis seemed far too damning.
2. My biggest point of confusion: WHERE DID THE MASON CHAT COME FROM?
I would guess Hunt seeing that he targeted the both of us last Night.
I don't see how that is possible. I have done nothing nefarious at all this game. My abilities have all been accounted for. I don't see how you think I would be able to pull something like that out of my arse? Plus, there is the question of why? I mean I am green yes, but why the heck would I do something so bad? Getting to Kingmaker and winning was damn near impossible, I agree, but if I had actually TRIED to kill Smoke it might have gone down different. I don't know why but I totally believed Seppel's claim, which kept me from trying to target either one of them. Hindsight I guess...

Sometimes I just have off games.
I was so mad that you guys didn't lynch Hunt after I pointed out his absolutely illogical, non-town need for survival.
